Vacation rentals with a pool in Kissamos

Thank you to Matthew and the team for such a lovely stay. Matthew went above and beyond for the duration of our visit, even giving us a lift to the local winery. The villa was exactly as pictured and beautifully maintained. The host welcomed us with pastries and local delicacies, which were even topped up during our stay when the villa was serviced. Whilst in a peaceful and quaint location, a car is necessary to explore the island and all it has to offer. Public transport does exist but is infrequent and not always easy to understand. Definitely worth a trip to the traditional bakery located a few minutes walk from the villa. Although we had a fantastic time in the hot tub and pool, the hot tub could definitely have been hotter. Overall all I would recommend this to everyone, and we will certainly be returning to Doro Gold Villa! Thanks again! Emma and friends

Konstantinos’s place is perfect. The location is beautiful and only a short drive to some of best beaches we have ever been to. The pool is so lovely and surrounded by breathtaking mountain scenery. I have never had a shower with such a good view! I wouldn’t change a thing and would recommend to anyone.

Simply put, one of the best AirBnB hosts & properties we’ve experienced. From the moment of booking Giorgos was helpful & responsive, providing clear instructions & many local recommendations. He was attentive throughout our stay & responded quickly when needed. As for the property it was lovely & clean with all the essentials & more. It was lovely to have the windows & doors open & the fly screens & shutters both make it that much more comfortable. There is A/C in 2 bedrooms & the living room if needed. The pool space & balconies were used by us throughout the stay. The location is very peaceful in a rural location with beautiful views of both the beach & mountains. The nearest restaurants were a 25 minute walk, & well worth it. We had a car & this was the perfect location to visit the stunning beaches of Balos, Falassarna & Elafonisi. Kissamos & the local beaches on the doorstep of the property are also well worth the visit. Highly recommended!

The villa literally has everything including loo rolls and washing powder. It really is a home from home. Spotlessly clean. Rustic but modern. Bug nets on the windows (with electric shutters). Outside space is big & very well kept. All beds comfortable with plump pillows. Duvets if needed. Big living area with comfy sofa. Heated pool & pool cover which kept the pool at 27° without the need to heat it. Pool cleaning robot kept the pool spotless. Robot lawn mower kept the grass tidy & free from fallen leaves. Lots of water & cakes on arrival plus he brought us special bread and also eggs from their chickens. Cats - not an issue at all. Definitely need a car. Nikoloas & Antonia are both lovely. They meticulously cleaned the pool and pool area after the orange dust storm. Communication was excellent. He checked in with us after the earthquake and also sent suggestions for things to do. I would absolutely recommend this villa. This is by far the best Airbnb we’ve stayed in.

The Location was amazing. Quite and private. Everything was amazing there was nothing to complain about probably the best airbnb I have ever stayed in. Marianna is absolutely amazing. The sweetest and most caring host ever. She gave us so many recommendations and was beyond helpful. I would recommend mend this place to everyone!!

Absolutely perfect! Brilliant property and brilliant host. Despina was so lovely, gave us great recommendations and she even left us some food in the fridge for breakfast because of our late flight. She also brought us homemade wine and honey. Property even better than the pictures! Best holiday ever! Thank you!

Villa anasa exceeded expectations. The pictures don't do it justice, the attention to detail in the interior is impressive. We had a lovely stay and would highly recommend. Gorgios was a gracious host and helpful in every way possible.

Amazing stay! The house was clean, spacious, and had everything we needed – a lovely pool, a fun game room, and a peaceful location. Great for families! The hosts were kind and responsive. We’d love to come back!

Fantastic place. Great views from the sun terrace overlooking the bay, so could sit and watch boats and cruise ships on their way to Chania. Only 5 mins walk down a gentle hill to the beach, shops & restaurants. Felt very private, although there were other apartments there, it is laid out so you are not overlooked. Everything was spotlessly clean on arrival and apartment staff were there every day keeping the pool and surrounding areas clean & tidy. Gas BBQ on the terrace was great. Good choice of restaurants along the beach, as well as a few small supermarkets in the centre. 40 mins drive from the airport and well positioned for visiting Chania (which was beautiful) and exploring the area. We had a thoroughly relaxing stay and have already recommended it to friends, and would definitely stay again. Kreta Eiendom's team were very responsive, when we had a small issue during our stay.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

Anastasia’s apartment is really nice, the view is amazing, and the surrounding neighbourhood is peaceful perfect for a peaceful trip.

The accommodation and generally the complex around it was very well maintained and we felt very comfortable there. The pool and the view from here was really great. The complex is located in the mountains with a view of the sea - really beautiful 😍 Claudia and Marco were very friendly and always available if we needed recommendations for the area 🙂 Overall, we had a very relaxing time 🥰

We had a wonderful stay at Alexandros’s place! Everything was perfect from start to finish. The villa itself was spotless, well-equipped, and very comfortable, but the real highlight was the stunning outdoor space and private pool – we truly didn’t want to leave. Alexandros was incredibly hospitable and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, even leaving us a selection of delicious local treats. We had everything we needed and more. The location is peaceful and offers a beautiful sea view thanks to its position on a hill – it feels like a little slice of paradise. It’s just a short drive to the charming town of Rethymno, which has plenty of great places to eat, shop, and explore. There are also supermarkets nearby if you’d rather cook and enjoy meals at the lovely villa. Do note that you’ll definitely need a car, as the villa is a bit uphill and not walkable from town – but the view and tranquility are well worth it. We would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommended!

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely be back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. We recommend Villa Elena with our highest endorsement. Sifis is a compassionate host with resourceful info & recs, def reach out to him if you have any Qs; he’s very responsive. Thoughtful/Delicious homemade meal ready on arrival. Kitchen stocked with basic food including many oranges for fresh squeezed OJ everyday & the best olive oil on Earth. Private/Tranquil location with amazing views yet close to beaches, market & bakery. Short walk to point for breathtaking sunset. Visited during low season so pool not used & did not think in advance to pay extra to heat hot tub but indoor fireplace used daily. Inexperienced drivers may have difficulty navigating to home. Rec 4x4 rental car with navigation system but did ok in Fiat Panda with propped up phone on dashboard. Sifis & family are amazing hosts, high quality humans & new friends. Hope to return someday for at least 2 weeks to see more of Crete. Would def stay here again if available. Thank you!

Great week spent just relaxing and had everything we needed. Pool was a great relief to the heat and visiting the local supermarket meant we cooked several times int he bbq and had breakfast looking over the views. Communication was great through out with some good recommendations. Loved that we had a mid week set of new towels / sheets and rubbish removed. It was just what we wanted - relaxed in a lovely location close to amenities . Thank you x

The property is beautiful and location just perfect just a 15mins bus ride to the harbor which is full of nice restaurants and shops etc. The property is a short walk to the beautiful beaches with a few beach bars with nice food and drink and restaurant not far away with very nice food. Really lovely stay. The air BnB was very clean and pleasant and the hosts were friendly. They had also bought some spare pool toys for my son. They gave us great recantations of places to eat and visit. Villa is a little outside of chania but we managed without a car. Really lovely stay, thank you!

Absolutely incredible stay at the villa very opulent from the minute the gate opens . So spacious,5 of us stayed for 1 week and the villa was just perfect. Great place to stay near Chania, easy to get around and close to beaches. Apartment is comfortable and spacious with a lovely pool and relaxing outdoor area.

We had a great stay in Crete in Atsipopoulo. The location is really great - since Atsipopulo is near the middle of the island, it's just about 1 hour to either Heraklion or Chania. It's also quick to get to the south side of Crete. We rented a car and were able to find parking near by consistently during our stay in May. We were told by other guests that the bus to Rethymo was easy but we don't have personal experience with this. Within walking distance is a grocery store, several restaurants and bakeries. The restaurants are mostly fast food, but just up the road are some great tavernas. Manolis is a great host and responded to all of our questions. Our room was cleaned weekly. We enjoyed our room very much, but what really made us love our stay was all of the common spaces. The rooftop was our favorite place to relax as well as get some work done. There are also friendly cats, which was a huge plus for us.
