From booking to arrival Sotirios has been a 100% host. The apartment is totally as described with all modern fixtures, fittings and appliances. The beach is a very short walk away. This location is perfect for exploring what Chania has to offer. Charm, beach, sea, food ,drink and culture. We covered over 40 miles on foot over the week wandering around all the nooks and crannies, streets, tavernas, restaurants and chilling on the beach in the sun. My partner celebrated her birthday while we were staying. On the morning we were greeted with a tray of biscuits, preserves and homemade lemonade. Even a hand made necklace for the birthday girl! Sotorios has made a stay extra special and helped us enjoy our time in Chania. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Andy and Carol x

This was one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stefania is the most thoughtful host, she was so friendly, always responsive and greeted us with a home cooked meal which was such a treat when we arrived from our late night flight. The place is stylishly decorated with a lot of thoughtful touches. The beds are very comfortable and the parking spot in front was very convenient. Great location, Lidl and Sinka are about a 10 min walk for groceries. There is a bakery just on the Main Street where we got bougatsa most mornings as well as a lovely breakfast spot called Lily cafe about a 15 min walk. The beach is also only a 10 min walk away. We loved our stay and would love to come back. Thank you.

I stayed with 2 teenagers in the apartment and we found it the perfect place to visit Chania old town but still stay in a quiet neighbourhood where there was always car park available along the road. The apartment is very spacious and the view from the terrace over the mountains beautiful. Andonis is a very friendly host and shared a lot of useful recommendations for things to do and local restaurants. We tried many of the recommended restaurants and were never disappointed! Maria, who lives on the ground-floor, is such a lovely woman and made us Easter biscuits. If you like walking to the old town and have a rental car to explore other places around Chania, this is absolutely the best place to stay!

We stayed in Frangokastello for a week with our three children in the fall. We were very warmly welcomed by the hosts and even received various regional foods as gifts, including feta, pastries and citrus fruits. The accommodation itself offers everything you need. We especially liked the oven and the proximity to the beach. In the low season, the place is very, very quiet, there are only a handful of taverns in the whole area and a few supermarkets that are open. But that didn't bother us any further.

Located outside of old town and in a quiet neighbour. Have private parking and lift within the apartment. Pro: near old town n Monday farmers market. Located in a quiet neighbour. Fully functional kitchen and have roller shutters for both balcony for security and keep the sunlight out Con: the second bedroom is located one level up and access via a stair.

If you love a vacation off the beaten track, away from the crowds of tourist resorts... this is your place. The house is located in a small village attached to the rock with stunning views of the Rokka gorge. The terrace you'll share with other guests is perfect for enjoying breakfast or an aperitif. Be aware that there are cats that come looking for food... for those with allergies... Marianna provided us with food for the first night and was always responsive to any questions or problems. Rokka is the ideal place to explore the beaches of the northwest of the island and Chania. The southwest beaches are at least an hour's drive away. We're taking beautiful memories with us Thank you.

Great stay for Chalepa area in Chania!! Very friendly and helpful understanding. The apartment was very clean and in line with the description, and they provided us with a park for the baby!

Valia was fast in responding and left clear instructions. The flat has an amazing huge terrace and its location is great, walking distance to the old town.

For today, this is my best experience with Airbnb. It felt like you were visiting a good acquaintance. The house had absolutely everything!! The place was very clean, cozy, looked much better than in the photos. White fluffy towels , robes, clean bedding. In each room there is an air condition. The kitchen is equipped with just everything you need - coffee, tea, butter, sugar…. A nice new frying pan is an ordinary problem with this in the rented accommodation. Lots of necessary utensils. The host left us fruit and lemonade as well as raki. She was constantly in touch and helped with anything. I would rate this place 12 on a 10-point scale 😍 I am very impressed with such a wonderful welcome and hospitality of the hostess. We'll definitely be back !

We had a perfect stay here. We loved the location- a 10 min walk to old town but also with many local restaurants right outside. The apartment itself was incredible with everything you need and Christini was very friendly and gave us recommendations:)

Great place with parking - this is an awesome perk if you rented a car as drivers here can be a bit hectic. Amazing restaurant straight down the road and the proximity to the city center is perfect.

The accommodation looked exactly like the pictures, was very clean, and provided many amenities such as a hairdryer, spices, laundry detergent, and spreads like butter and honey. The quiet location just outside the city, a 10-minute drive away and easily accessible by bus, is definitely a plus. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

It was super nice here. We were warmly welcomed and communication went smoothly. The place is as pictured. You're a bit up the mountain, which is super nice because it's much quieter there. The city and the beach are within walking distance. We were very satisfied.

We had a wonderful time at Claudia and Marco's. The apartment was spacious and perfectly equipped, very private terrace, very quiet and beautiful environment (we were surrounded by olive trees), beautiful sunsets, and the pool was amazing. The apartment was well-equipped and it was located in a small quiet village. When we arrived, there were already basic products in the refrigerator, which was very much appreciated. The apartment was very clean and very well-equipped for a short or long stay. The pool was very clean and we had four chairs reserved for our accommodation. Sandy and pebble beaches are within a reasonable distance of the apartment; there are several to visit in Crete.

It was a special vacation. Pavlos is a great person very helpful in many ways. The apartment exceeded our expectations. Immaculate cleanliness of the house , pool and garden. The area of the apartment is impressive and the furnishings of the apartment. You can say a lot in superlatives. Our daughters were delighted and so were we. We'll definitely be back. The perfect place to explore the western part of the island. Peace and quiet. Private parking is a big advantage. We're so happy. We love this place. The apartment is amazing and very clean, the surrounding is very calm and peaceful. The host is very respectful and very helpful, we had an issue and she was very responsive in fixing the issue immediately without delay. She’s very caring for her quests. Would definitely stay here again.

We spent almost 2 months at the Menelaos and everything was good. The apartment is in a peaceful neighborhood, not far from the center ( ~ 15 minute walking). The place is simple, but it has everything you might need for a longer stay. The outdoor space is very nice, we enjoyed mostly the barbeque as we stayed during the winter, but the pool is definitely worth it during summer time. We both work remotely and never had issues with the internet. For us the place was perfect as you have everything you need at walking distance (gym, weekly farmers market, coffee shops and restaurants, veterinarian etc). Menelaos was available all the time for any question/issue that we had. Definitely recommend the place for longer or shorter stays.
