This place is a treasure. The views from the living room and kitchen are spectacular. The house has many clever features that are well designed. The area around Almyrida is fun to explore--go down to the beach or on a hike along the coast. Almyrida is a cute beach town, very welcoming. And we did several further from the town adventures. We had no idea that Crete has so much to offer--pottery in Margarites, beautiful beaches, intense hikes, exceptional museums, exploring Hania's historic streets. The property management team were wonderful to interact with. We felt so fortunate to find such a gem. Thank you!!! We sure hope we can return.

We had an amazing stay at Katerina’s apartment. We especially loved the view, the barbecue and the sweet dog. Would definitely come back another time. Thank you, Katerina!!

Beautiful house and with gorgeous views. We had plenty of space and all 3 bedrooms were spacious. They provided a full size crib for our son (who’s big) so that was really helpful. Highly recommend this house. The only downside which I’ll mention is the driveway and garage situation. You will need to really be careful getting in and out of it but you can master it by your final day!

The place was great! We loved it! Close to the beach, great restaurants, walking distance to the old port and supermarket, not too far from the highway. The lodging was enormous and had so much room, ac worked great, having a parking space was very practical. Go ahead and book you won’t regret it.

Fantastic stay in a great villa. Swimming pool on the roof is fabulous. Very well equipped property with everything you might need. Beds are really comfortable with ample air conditioning units in the rooms. Great location for touring Crete in the car, but a bit far out from Chania if you want to walk into the town. Taxis were readily available. Host is really helpful with recommendations.

Nikos and Joanna were excellent hosts. Clear instructions of how to find the villa and greeted us on arrival. The villa is immaculate, very high end finish and the surrounding area is stunning. Close to both Chania and the Marina, both worth a visit. We have had a brilliant time with the family and will definitely be back again!

We felt right at home. The incredibly lovely owners and helpers of the house have contributed to this, in combination with this great place to stay. We were overwhelmed by the island and the people from the first minute. I highly recommend getting to know this country and its people. You'll love it. Many thanks for everything! We stayed for 1 week (4adults and 4 kids) having been to Crete a number of times before. The villa was up in the hills (you need to hire a car to get anywhere and driving on the small lanes is not for the faint hearted) but this gave us the beautiful views over the bay and a lovely sea breeze. The house was immaculate with all the essentials and mod cons including chilled filtered water from the fridge. The ice machine didn’t work so one of the team popped around with a big bag of ice the next day which we used instead. We also experienced a sandstorm (happens about once a year) with Saharan sand being deposited on everything. The cleaners were around the next morning and the pool was cleaned beautifully. The pool itself was heated to a lovely temperature so the kids could enjoy it all day and the hot tub was even warmer so the perfect place to sit and enjoy drinks. We used the outdoor built in barbecue and sat outside for dinners (great views). Karolina was very responsive! Recommend!

The place was great. Location was perfect for us: close to some true gems food wise, beaches, wineries, etc. We loved it. We stayed 1 week, so we truly got a chance to enjoy it. Was also able to yoga in the morning with a view on the olive trees. All the little attentions made us feel welcomed.

Everything described and shown of this property is undervaluing its delight. This is beautifully and perfectly placed in Chania. It has everything you need within the property, whether there's 1 or 5 staying. There's lots of do within easy walking distance, including the delicious Periplous restaurant down the road, the sea opposite, and that view!! --- blissfully divine perks of the location Antonis and Nikos are so helpful and considerate. From my welcoming arrival, it was a serene joy and so simply perfect I could live there. I highly recommend this place. Thank you for hosting. Είναι όμορφο

Absolutely magical! Roula’s stone house is an incredibly picturesque and charming place to stay. The terrace is a dream – shaded naturally by a tree and offering a stunning view of the sunset. The house is beautifully and comfortably furnished, with everything you might need. A little heads-up for tall people: the doorway to the terrace is a bit low – you might want to duck (don’t worry, we laughed every time!). There are some fantastic tavernas just around the corner, and it’s the perfect starting point for scenic hikes through the area. We loved every minute of our stay and would come back in a heartbeat!

We felt right at home as soon as we arrived. We arrived quite late and were pleasantly surprised to find a cold bottle of wine waiting for us and all the amenities for us to have a late supper. The location was very charming close to the historic district of Chania and the story behind Hestia House added to our stay. Great location for walking and the nearby beaches were a stone throw away. The bedroom and bathroom were very bright and comfortable. If we return to Crete, Hestia House will certainly be our number one choice.

This place was perfect. It is in a great location, spacious and clean. The host was very responsive and helpful. Like the other reviews mentioned, the parking spot is very tight, you have to be a confident driver and highly recommend having a smaller car.

We had a fantastic stay in Michalis's lovely corner suite. It was cozy, unique, and had everything we needed, plus nice extras like a washer, a second bathroom and street parking (just do an extra lap around the block). The location was ideal, with traditional windows opening to a garden and ruins, and it was a short walk to everything while being away from the Old City crowds. Michalis was an amazing host—very responsive, provided great local tips, and even took time to offer us coffee and chat. He’s definitely one of the best hosts I've ever met. I highly recommend this place and a stay with Michalis!!

The location was so convenient, the host was really easy to communicate with whenever we needed it, and the treats left for us at check-in were so kind. We would absolutely recommend this place to stay!

Wonderful stay at a beautiful modern apartment in the Turkish quarter of old town Chania. Very close to Venetian Port, great restaurants (Well of the Turk just around the corner) yet lovely and quiet. Loved coffee and breaks on the rooftop terrace, spacious rooms and amenities. Eva was fantastic! Thanks so much, this is a perfect place to stay!

Art Deco Suites was really beautiful. Maria is just the best. So helpful. She also put us on to a great car hire company which is absolutely necessary to see as much of the sites as possible on Crete. The local town is a 15 minute walk, but you WILL NEED a car to get to the OLD TOWN and central Chania. The apartments are very clean and well stocked for a comfortable stay. The WIFI is also top quality. Highly recommend staying at this wonderful place, just remember that you will need a car.

We were received directly in an extremely friendly manner with fruit and food. The location is wonderful, you look at the sea and nature, it is quiet and right next to the accommodation is an approximately 20-30 min. beautiful path along the sea to the other place. We enjoyed our time and can recommend it 100%.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The accommodations were perfect and we enjoyed spending time in the pool. It was easy to walk to Old Town and many options for food nearby. Our host was very helpful and responsive - we appreciated the help setting up a pick up from the airport as our flight didn’t get in until late. Overall we had an amazing experience during our stay and I would highly recommend.

An absolute gem, we had an amazing stay at Maria's place. The house is absolutely beautiful, modern with quality all around. It's also super private with nothing but nature around you. Will definitely be coming back!!

The house is amazing set in a beautiful location with views of the mountains and sea, it is a very peaceful place but also not far to walk to the little village where there are restaurants and shops. A car is nice to explore around the island and it is very easy to get around. Our host Katrina was extremely nice, very attentive and made sure our stay was exceptional. She makes sure everywhere is clean and tidy, shares local delights and was a very friendly host. I would highly recommend this property.

Maryellen communicated really well before and during the stay. The house is a fantastic location but you need a car or taxi to get to local restaurants and into Chania. Maryellen even booked the taxi for us to Chania. The house is fully equipped with everything. The views are amazing over looking the sea. The outside space is great with magical pool. It’s on a hill so probably not suitable for people who find it difficult with stairs and because the pool is an infinity pool you would need to be careful of children in the pool. The house is private and in a quiet location. We will be going back, one of the best Airbnb we have been to.

Wonderful stay in a serene environment. Beautiful view towards the sea, nice swimming pool and large, tastefully decorated rooms. We were really able to unwind here. You usually need a car to visit restaurants or nearby villages. No problem for us, we just enjoyed the peace and quiet.

We had a great time at the apartment in Platanias! It looked exactly like the photos – beautiful, clean, and spacious, with everything you need: a well-equipped kitchen, washing machine, clothes rack, even a sun umbrella. The view was stunning! The area is quite steep, but everything is within walking distance – just a few minutes down to shops, restaurants, and the beach. There are also great places to eat nearby up the hill. The communication with the hosts was excellent – always quick, friendly, and helpful. They were very proactive and shared lots of great tips and recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Overall, a really good experience – highly recommended!
