Shepherds hut vacation rentals in King's Lynn and West Norfolk

We had a lovely two nights at Happy Valley. It is in a peaceful setting. It worked out really well for us as a family of 3. It is so nice to have the cooking facilities by the hut and it was so lovely to have the fire pit for the evening. We would love to come back!

We had a beautiful stay here 😊 lovely, peaceful surroundings and just what we wanted for a last minute getaway. The hut was slightly difficult to find in the dark but what a stunning place it is! Would definitely recommend this place to all 😁

A wonderful glamping/country farm site. We stayed in the Norfolk shepherds hut and it was perfect - spotlessly clean with all the amenities you could want. A well thought-out brochure to download onto your phone with all the information you could need for your stay. Complimentary fresh free range eggs! Just perfect.

We had the perfect weekend stay and Emma's place, the views are breathtaking and they were great hosts. Left plenty of googldies for us at arrival and there were games for the kids to play, including a badminton set. Our daughter felt in love with Dora the cat. We'd love to come back

Lovely relaxing stay in this beautiful, quiet location. The Shepherd’s hut is cosy and comfortable with everything you need. Would definitely recommend and will be returning.

"Wow" what a find! Such a beautiful place and so peaceful. The Shepherds hut was even better than it looked ,in the pictures and very spacious considering. It was spotless inside and had everything you needed. I loved that we arrived to homemade cakes and goodies in the fridge. My son loved the animals and we were very lucky to meet Bob who kindly told my son about the animals and let him help feed some of them. Bob and Helen are excellent hosts, they go above and beyond from start to finish and nothing is to much trouble. We shall be back.

We had a wonderful time at the Shepherd's hut, despite the British weather! Neill and John were very friendly and helpful, they provided some wonderful recommendations - the Sunday roast at the nearby Fox Inn being a stand out. The hut itself had everything you needed and is very stylishly decorated, while the grounds were peaceful and wonderful to explore with the children. We'll definitely be back!

The PERFECT glamping experience! We went as a couple, which was fabulous- but would be even more amazing for families! Sally was super friendly and helpful, the site was spotless with all the amenities you could want. The local area is incredible, and this is the perfect location to use as a base to visit gorgeous beaches and other attractions. The peacocks were a fascinating added extra that we fell in love with! Thank-you so much sally, we’ll be recommending to everyone!

This is a beautiful shepherd’s hut which is cozy and comfy inside with private space around the hut to sit and enjoy the sunshine and countryside. The additional hut with bathroom was excellent and scrupulously clean. The bed was incredibly comfortable and having a barbecue to use was wonderful.

I had an amazing time this weekend. I made a very last minute booking and was very glad i did. Kate is wonderful and friendly, the perfect host. i had complete privacy in this wonderful part of her garden.

Our stay was in a private back garden of a farmhouse. There was 3 wooden units, bedroom, kitchen and shower/toilet. The bed was comfortable, the shower was spacious as was the toilet area. The kitchen had plenty of space and had the following, Fridge (worked well), induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cutlery and cups/glasses.. There was 2 chairs and table inside the kitchen with some complementary cookies, tea, coffee, milk and a small bottle of Prosecco. Outside was a table and 2 chairs under a canopy. The garden was private and very quiet, the only things we heard at night was the wildlife.... It was absolutely wonderful. Never once did we worry about leaving our car or contents as we felt secure at all times. If you stay when the weather is hot I would advise you to take a fan with you, it can get rather warm in bedroom. The locals were extremely friendly and we had a wonderful time.

The place is a little gem very private with beautiful surroundings and it has a gas Bbq next to a sitting area behind the cabin. This enables you to spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy the quietness of the spot. The cabin is small but very well laid out and it has all the amenities you need, kitchen utensils and even an air fryer. The bed is good sized and the matress is to die for. You will sleep like a baby!! Lee and her husband have been very welcoming and made us very comfortable during our stay and gave us really amazing tips on what we can visit and restaurants in the area! Overall a great experience for us and I will highly recommend for a short stay!!

What a beautiful place - so peaceful. We loved the wild rabbits and horses surrounding us. The hut was lovely, and has everything you need. We loved the hot tub too, it was relatively easy, and stays hot for a long time. Sam was always ready to help, offering to come with ice packs and water for the fan (it was very hot when we stayed) - couldn’t ask for more! Would definitely come back and recommend to anybody!

We had a lovely weekend, everything was great! The owner was very helpful and responsive, always ready to assist whenever we had any issues. The place is peaceful and located in a beautiful area. The property has everything you could possibly need, it’s truly impressive how the owner managed to fit all the essentials into such a compact space. A magical little getaway!

Thank you Bridget - we had such a restorative weekend stay! We loved the fresh eggs from your chickens and view of alpacas. The bed is super comfy and the shepards hut actually feels rather spacious. Great location for visiting IWM Duxford. We also had a lovely brunch at a spot Bridget recommended, Poppy’s Barn.

What a perfect place to just switch off from the world and have a rest. The hut is just gorgeous with anything you might need to hand. Will be recommending and returning!

I had a wonderful stay at Jacob’s Hut. Simon was a great host, providing lots of helpful information ahead of time. The hut is exactly as described, arguably even nicer than the photos. Had a lovely night here with my wife for our anniversary. The hit was absolutely perfect for what we wanted,it was so peaceful with lovely countryside views to look at as we sat by the fire pit. Will definitely return and would definitely recommend

we had a fantastic few days in Debbie's shepherd's hut. it was exactly as described and spotless and beautiful. The location is peaceful and extremely pretty. The little special bits like homemade soaps and candles were exquisite. All in all a beautiful weekend was had and even got a little goody bag as a gift. will definitely book again.

We had a beautiful stay at David & Louise's hut in Histon. beautifully tucked just outside of Cambridge, they were fabulous hosts and very helpful when we needed them. Can't wait to stay again. H & H

We had an amazing stay at this peaceful and quiet retreat, and our doggo too. It was the perfect getaway for some rest and relaxation in nature. The Shepherds hut was clean, cozy, and well equipped for a comfortable stay. We especially loved the private hot tub, soaking under the stars was such a treat! We also made great use of the BBQ, enjoying relaxed dinners outdoors with the peaceful sounds of nature around us. Our dog absolutely enjoyed exploring the area and relaxing with us. Mornings were peaceful with birdsong and fresh air, and the evenings were just as lovely with beautiful sunsets and total quiet. The hosts were welcoming, helpful and very quick to respond. If you're looking for a quiet, relaxing place to recharge, especially with a pet, we highly recommend this little gem.

If you are looking for true peace and quiet, in the most beautiful setting, where the only sound is Birdsong, then Woodcutter's Lodge is definitely the place for you! This lovely Shepherd's Hut is nestled in the heart of the Norfolk Countryside and provides a very private cosy space, but with Stacy, a charming host, not far away if any help or support is required. The Lodge itself is 'home from home' and has everything you need for a comfortable break. It has been beautifully put together and the outside space provides a lovely spot to enjoy a drink or alfresco meal. Be sure to take advantage of the Binoculars at dusk and watch the appearance of Deer and Hares frolicking in the field. The views and walks on the doorstep are simply stunning! Thank you for a wonderful much needed break!

We spent two nights at Barley Shepherd's Hut and thoroughly enjoyed it. The hut is perfectly placed on the campsite in a quiet corner overlooking fields, horses and meadow flowers. We were really impressed by the kitchen and bathroom areas, both of which had everything needed for a few nights...cutlery, washing up liquid, tea, coffee, fresh towels etc. The welcome pack was lovely too. The outdoor seating area was perfect for morning coffee and evening firepits. It made our stay extra special, especially toasting marshmallows! The site is located within a short stroll of the village, which is ideal for local shops. Next door is Park Farm and we'd highly recommend visiting for the deer safari and tea shop. Overall a brilliant host and gorgeous accommodation. We will be back again soon!
