Perfect little house with a nice outside even if we didn’t really enjoy because of the hot weather Inside very clean except maybe the kitchen, the prior host left dirty dishes in the cabinet. Location is close to sequoia NP so perfect place. We recommend this place.

What a fantastic place! Our family had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Running P Ranch. The guest house was spotless, well-maintained, and thoughtfully stocked. The living room and bedrooms were cozy and comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. We loved the many outdoor areas to unwind and dine. After a day of hiking, the spa tub was the perfect way to relax. We truly wish we could’ve stayed longer! Running P Ranch was a great base for exploring Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. It's about a 45-minute drive to the Foothills Visitor Center, and another 45 minutes inside the park to reach key sights—so plan accordingly for the drive if visiting multiple days. A grocery store less than 10 minutes away made shopping easy. The hosts were incredibly helpful and responsive. Staying here was a highlight of our family vacation!

We had a wonderful stay on our way up to Sequoia and King’s Canyon, and only wish we had longer to enjoy the beautiful creek, soak in the hot tub, and try the delicious sounding breakfast nearby. Still it was a peaceful spot to unwind after a long drive and prepare for our outdoor weekend, and we loved the care and details throughout. The cottage had everything we needed and more. It was just my boyfriend, pup, and me this time, but we could book with friends in the future.

Our stay with Sequoia Vacation Rentals was stellar. The home was clean and convenient to town. In addition, Sheila provided excellent customer service. I would definitely recommend this home if you are visiting Sequoia National Park!

This is such a beautiful home. It is well maintained and so clean. The yard, patio, and garden areas are beautiful. Our children enjoyed playing in the patio where we watched bunnies and squirrel. We felt right at home immediately upon arrival as the home is clean and welcoming. Dean was so helpful and allowed us to book very last minute. We have stayed in many Airbnbs across the country and this was one of our favorite.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at this property. Every part of this property is well thought out and impeccablably maintained. Upon arrival we were able to easily access the home. The gated entrance made us feel safe and secure the entire time. Our girls loved the freedom they had riding their scooters across the giant driveway and we loved knowing they were safe from street traffic. The house is immaculate and cozy. The garage opened up to be a bonus room that we spent hours playing in. The backyard is magical. The Kern River is right at your back door. We enjoyed many meals on the patio. Some notes: The neighbors can be a little sensitive to noise, which is understandable, so keep outdoor music low. The nearest grocery store is 20 a minute drive so come prepared. We loved the on-site chicken coop and really enjoyed the farm-fresh eggs provided upon arrival. The hosts went out of their way to make us feel welcome and accommodate our requests. We hope to visit again.

Great experience with a reasonable price. The landlord is kind and helpful, the house is small but has all the things we need. Is a cozy little cottage. Love it. Especially the bathroom is very clean. Great place to stay if you’re traveling to sequoia park. The location is perfect, close to the mountain, lake also the town. We had a great time starting our own fire and bbq by the house. 🥰

Very peaceful & relaxing

What a gem! Pictures were true and spot on. Very clean and tidy. Host was thorough with instructions. We loved the back patio and enjoyed ourselves BBQing and relaxing. Weather was amazing. Very short drive down to the Kern River. Host was amazing and responded very quickly to any questions. Final note: loved walking outside with my morning cup of coffee hearing the Kern River. We are looking forward to returning soon.

A peaceful, cozy retreat just what we needed. The space was clean, quiet, and surrounded by nature. A perfect home base after long days at the Lake or hiking at Sequoia. Would absolutely stay again. Thank you for sharing your place!

Nancy house was clean and the beds were very comfortable.. bathroom was spotless and clean.. love watching the humming birds in the morning.. she had beautifully carved bears which you could buy wish we had place in our luggage..thank you Nancy will be definitely back when we are around

My husband and I stayed here with our 18 month old during our trip to sequoia national park. We were greeted with some home-made cookies and a beautiful, clean, and well organized home. We really enjoyed the location close to the park and tucked away up a private road. Only minor thing is we didn’t have a lot of backyard space to explore the wilderness around the home. That would have been great but posting in accurate in description of house size so we knew that from the get go.

Liesl and Marcel’s cottage was just as described in the listing and they responded promptly to any questions I sent their way. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfortable and we loved the remote location. Clingan’s Junction Coffee was an added bonus that was only 10 minutes away. We stayed 3 nights and could’ve happily stayed another night or two. Thanks for a great stay Liesl and Marcel!

We loved Merrynook, and Mahalia and Bachrun were such kind and wonderful hosts!! Excellent proximity to Kings Canyon and Sequoia NPs - and a very beautiful drive to reach them! Great kitchen, very well-stocked for cooking all meals. Very comfortable beds and our daughter loved the little “Bohemian Girl” room with floor mattress, etc. Very beautiful patio and outdoor areas! We look forward to returning too!!

We felt right at home at this airbnb. It is well equipped with kitchen appliances and has an amazing view of the lake. We will be coming back!

This cute older home is cozy and eclectic. The sauna was a big plus after long days of hiking in nearby King's Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. The backyard is private with beautiful flowers. The full kitchen made cooking easy, which is important since there are few restaurants nearby. Purchase food before you come - there aren't nearby stores. The WIFI is slow and there is no TV, but they have plenty of books available. A great place to get away and base out of for the nearby parks!
