Idyllic Gem with a Million Dollar View Above Homer

Can’t say enough about how beautiful a house Brett has…and the million dollar view it affords. 5 bedrooms and a yurt outside creates so much room for everyone…we had 6 in our group, you definitely, if you were couples fit more people. The kitchen had everything you’d need to Cheff up a meal so you wouldn’t have to go out to eat if that’s the way you roll. The hot tub in the yard overlooks the Homer Spit, and the majestic Kachemek Bay mountains across the bay. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Such a lovely rental!

Ideal location right near Bishop’s Beach, two bakeries and the main part of Homer. Bedrooms are large and plenty of space for a family to spread out. Kitchen has everything you need and more. Plenty of board games and books. Beautiful views of the bay and easy walk to the beach. One thing to note is that sound does travel easily from the studio below, so I imagine it goes both ways. We highly recommend this place and would happily stay again with our two tweens.

The most earned 5⭐️ we’ve ever given. The passion & attention to detail for this place is top notch. The view is spectacular & the host has thought out every detail of not only what guests need but also what they could possibly want. From snacks in the pantry to house slippers & a Bluetooth stereo to fresh flowers throughout from the amazing garden in the back. Top notch and only 5⭐️ because that’s as high as they go. If you’re thinking about it, just book it you won’t regret it. My wife and I definitely appreciate the time & the insight she provided to help our Leisure Time Properties @ LTP Ranch units work toward the top 1% as this unit is and Deborah has secured our business anytime we are in Homer. Would say this is the top Airbnb we’ve had the pleasure to stay in. Thank you 😊

This is just a great place to stay in Homer or if you're on the Kenai Peninsula. The house is easy to find and in a great location close to the Homer Spit for restaurants. The outdoor areas are incredible. Jordin had a wood all setup in the firepit and there's plenty of firewood to keep the fire going too. We had a wonderful first night enjoying the yard, fire pit & beautiful view. But the best part was the amazing sunset the next morning - truly beautiful and worth it to wake up a little early and enjoy from the bedroom or living room, or outside. The house is spacious with lots of room for our group of 8 adults. The kitchen is well stocked and we totally appreciated the nice, large wine glasses that most AirBnb's never seem to have. When you add in rabbits and chickens to the experience, it all ads up to an amazing stay. Don't hesitate to stay here if your travels take you to Homer!

Altho I did not communicate with Allison directly in regards to the stay, I did communicate with Katia who provided me with all the info I needed and timely updates. This is our second time staying at the Surfshack and it is a great location for a cozy haven after a long day of kayaking!

This place was perfect for our family on a much-needed break from Anchorage. Our girls loved having their own rooms and relaxing in the hot tub. The living area was very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make our own meals. We had an amazing time staying at this cabin in Homer, AK! It was absolutely perfect for us—quiet, cozy, and close to town but far enough away to escape the hustle and bustle. The view of the mountains from the front porch was breathtaking, and we were even lucky enough to spot a moose in the neighborhood! The cabin itself was impeccably cared for, with everything feeling new and thoughtfully designed. Although we didn’t use the upstairs room, it would be perfect if you’re traveling with one or two kids. You can really tell that a lot of love and attention went into making this cabin a welcoming and comfortable retreat. We highly recommend it for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful and scenic stay in Homer!

Such a sweetly situated and lovely home!! We all loved it and felt more than comfortable. The home had nooks and crannies full of Alaska findings and spacious views of the canal and neighboring historic homes. It was such a pleasure to stay here!!!

Loved this place!! Was very cozy and looked better than the pics online. Peaceful Location and easy access to all we needed! Great response times when we texted, and we were unsure about our arrival date when we initially booked, he said was no prob to add a day prior if needed. Fully stocked kitchen w all utensils and large spice variety was great for our meals in! Would stay here again. Thanks!!!

I’m a germaphobe and this place was immaculate! Everything was so cozy and beautiful. The place smelled brand new and everything we needed was provided. The location was great and we even had moose across the street. The hosts were very responsive and attentive and even left the sweetest note upon check in. I come back to homer every august and I’ll definitely stay here again. ❤️

What a fantastic property. The personal touches were so inviting and made us feel like it was our home. Loved watching Mama moose with her calf taking a stroll across the lawn. The windows and views were stunning! We could clearly see right down to Homer Spit and also the mountains/glaciers across Kachemak bay. The location was remote and private, yet close to everything. Would love to visit again! Thank you for all the accommodation!

This place is a perfect spot! It’s location is so close to everything you want in Homer! It’s a gorgeous home inside, super comfy beds, & wonderful personal touches to make you feel right at home. We didn’t want to leave! Daniel was there to greet us with a friendly smile and we truly felt at home. We will be back when we come to Homer again!

definitely the best place to stay in homer. it was close to all the places we wanted to go. the stay had everything along with games to play with friends, huge windows to enjoy the scenery, cozy living room with a fireplace. I would definitely stay again here.
