Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in James City County

Dylan was very helpful with making sure my request to be on the first floor with a ramp was met for my 87 year old grandmother. He responded back quickly and was super nice. Would definitely go back. My family loved it there it was so much to do. Everything was in walking distance.

Our stay at Governor Green was very nice. The place is clean, spacious and well equipped with large bedrooms, baths, kitchen and living area. I would strongly recommend it for families or couples. We felt safe and there were some activities to do on the premises, but we preferred to see the local sites. The location is very convenient to all the historical sites as well as many food, shopping, and other activities.

Beautiful condo. Very clean & updated. Most comfy bed we have ever had @ an Airbnb ( and we have stayed in many). Very quiet & peaceful.

This is a Hilton vacation rental booked thru Airbnb if it isn’t clear before booking. Space was very clean and had basic necessities.

Super amazing host! they even called the day of check in and check out! They went above and beyond to accommodate me. place was clean and spacious! probably one of the larger resorts we have stayed at. The spare sun room is truly lime a third bedroom. There are multiple pools and the indoor cotton is amazing! Great fitness center and walking distant to amusement parks! Perfect find!

It was nice and very clean. We loved the space, especially the master bedroom shower. We will 100% book again.

We've stayed at Spence's place a few times, and it's always been a great experience. He's friendly and responsive, and the place is always comfortable.

We were very pleased with our stay. Check-In was very easy with plenty of text notifications. Check out was easy as well. We were greeted by Club Wyndham timeshare staff and invited to attend a presentation, but the offer was very friendly and not pushy at all. It was a very good experience, and we would love to stay again. We visit our Aunt who lives in Ford's Colony and found this location we'll suited for all of Williamsburg.

Our family of 6 has a great time. Plenty of space at the unit and the amenities were even more than described. We'll be coming back!

The kids and I enjoyed ourselves. the weather was chilly so that was a bummer when it came to enjoying the outdoor pool but the indoor pool was freezing!!! But the property and the staff was amazing and attentive. I loved the stay and will be back!

I originally tried to book with another host within the same resort and he was so nasty, that I wasn't going to look again within this resort. I looked again and it was GOD who guided my fingers to her listing. I'm glad I didn't give up and So glad Brooke was the Angel to respond IMMEDIATELY! This was a stressful stay as our mother is almost 100 years old and we got the message that she was close to dying. It was quite nice to have this quiet place to return to after the time we spent with Chris' mother. So we really were not able to engage in any of the resort offerings. It was a surprise that, after we paid for our regular fee, we were informed that we had to pay an additional "resort fee" for using the facilities. If we had known that we would have looked elsewhere as we felt like we were paying for something that we were not going to be able to use. Otherwise, this is a nice, clean place, quiet and with beautiful grounds.

This place was a great value with tons of attractions within a few minutes driving time. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to visit Williamsburg as the resort has several amenities and is super clean and comfortable.

I have stayed at another property run by Tara and this experience was just as great. The set up is perfect for our family.

My girlfriend and I had a great stay! Would highly recommend. Sue was very accommodating for any issues around the place and very easy to communicate with. Would love to stay again sometime!

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Would stay here again. Our layout was a bit different from the pictures, but it work great to have a space for the teens and another one for the adults. I would love to stay here again.

The check-in process, with the resort, includes repeated attempts to sign up for a timeshare presentation. The resort's activities center staff was rude when we signed up for an activity. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. The resort has a gym, but it's small and has limited equipment. The accommodations are clean and offers everything we were looking for. The furnishings could use updating though. The location is perfect for Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestowne Settlement, Water Country USA and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

James was a very responsive and friendly host! The guest house was clean and had everything we needed. The beds were all comfortable as well. If you are going with a lot of guests, I would suggest that those who go to bed earlier or are light sleepers stay upstairs. From the bottom level, you can hear the walking going on upstairs. Other than that, it was perfect! Thank yo uso much, James!
