House vacation rentals in James City County

I have stayed at another property run by Tara and this experience was just as great. The set up is perfect for our family.

It was a beautiful place to get engaged and the history of the house was awesome and the view in the backyard was mystifying!

Sue was very communicative throughout our experience. She responded quickly to my initial message and each message thereafter. My trip was a bit last-minute, but it sure didn't feel that way! The cottage was perfect in every way! It was clean and cozy. It was just the right size. It truly felt like a home away from home. The resort was peaceful and included many activities. The resort staff was friendly, too! If I travel to Williamsburg for pleasure again, I would absolutely see if this cottage is available.

The cottage was clean and uncluttered. It was very comfortable, from the table to the couch to the beds. It had all the amenities needed for a week-long stay. It was in a safe and friendly gated resort neighborhood. As a group of four adult women, we loved the four bathrooms (3 full, 1 half) and four comfortable beds.

The check-in process, with the resort, includes repeated attempts to sign up for a timeshare presentation. The resort's activities center staff was rude when we signed up for an activity. The indoor and outdoor pools are great. The resort has a gym, but it's small and has limited equipment. The accommodations are clean and offers everything we were looking for. The furnishings could use updating though. The location is perfect for Colonial Williamsburg, Jamestowne Settlement, Water Country USA and Busch Gardens Williamsburg.

Joy was a pleasure to work with for this AirBnb / Club Wynham place. Condo was clean and had what we needed as a family of four (teenager and young adult). We stayed here to be close for our daughter’s graduation. Loved the pool and bar/restaurant access with very reasonable prices. Only negative was dealing with Club Wyndham timeshare pressure and their $60 charge which should be refundable and stated up front.

This home was more than we expected. Very large and comfortable space - you could have one large family or 3 spread out easily. We had a small maintenance issue which was fixed by calling front office staff. Had everything we needed for a great stay during W&M graduation weekend. Thanks!

It was a lovely place - I would only say this: You will only have access to the lower level of this home. The second floor is a separate rental so you may be sharing the house with other people. There is no access to the second floor but you can hear everything that happens up there. You may want to clarify if other people are staying above you, if it’s something that you care about.

BY far the best Airbnb experience We've ever had. Very homey and comfortable. Lisa met us at the house and gave us the tour of the house. We forgot our fan and she went to her house to get one for us. Called to check in and see if we needed anything. We were 6 miles from Bush Gardens, 5 miles from the event center we needed to be at and about 10 miles from the Premium outlets. Very convenient to everything we needed, and wanted to get to. We would definitely rent this location again and highly recommend it to anyone. Lisa calls this the Holiday House and she means it. We were there at Easter and the whole house was decorated for Easter. She even left Easter candy for us and very lovely gift for our 5 year old Grandchild. The absolute perfect Hostess.

My family and I had a wonderful time and we enjoyed our accommodations and all the activities that were close by.

Beautiful cottage in a beautiful area. Would stay here again. Our layout was a bit different from the pictures, but it work great to have a space for the teens and another one for the adults. I would love to stay here again.

Really amazing!!! The space was huge with lots of room for a big get together. Great outdoor space, deck and grills were nicer than I’ve had at other Airbnbs. Very quiet location. Highly recommend it, I am totally going back

Beautiful house in an excellent location - short drive to all local attractions. Exceptionally private at the end of a cul-de-sac and bordering a small lake in the back. Extremely nice, colonial style home perfect for the area. Very open main floor with two living room / lounge areas and a nicely appointed kitchen and dining area. Furniture was all in excellent condition and very tasteful / quality. Bedrooms were large and luxurious, as were the two full bathrooms and first floor powder room. Easily fit 4 adults and 3 children and much more comfortable, spacious and private than a typical vacation “villa”. Exceeded our expectations! Bonus deck and grill in the back was a nice surprise with spectacular view of the lake!

Excellent place, nice location

We love this house! my family and I ejoyed our stay here the house is clean, beds are comfy with a beautiful view! it has plenty of room and is on a pretty quiet nighborhood. The host is very kind and responsive fishing, relaxing eating taking pictures kayaking, playing in the sand, soccer at the backyard and so much more! there is plenty of very good restaurants 15 minutes away and all you need for fishing. thanks for everything of course we will be back again! and I recomend this place!
