Second time staying at this property and it’s a lovely experience and lovely area off the beaten path. Very quiet and clean. I’m appreciative of the hospitality that both Sharon and Stephen showed me. Will be going back for a 3rd time in the future.

We had a wonderful time on our trip. The condo was beautiful and the most well stocked air bnb we have ever stayed in. The grounds are very well kept and clean. The location is perfect. We felt comfortable and at home. We would absolutely stay again.

First time visiting the big island and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay ! Flew out here for my birthday and my oh my did I get lucky by finding this place. You can walk to the beach for a serene morning which is a plus (can also get fresh coconut juice and the best poke bowls by the beach). Or if you’re feeling more night like Ali drive is just less than a 10 min drive away ! Beyond the location the space itself is everything you could ask for and more ! On site laundry, air conditioning, and a coffee maker (my favorite part). A long with countless other essentials, definitely didn’t need to pack as much as I thought. Very thankful to Yoko for being such an amazing host, I will be returning ! (hopefully soon) 🖤

We recently stayed at a delightful Airbnb in Pahoa, Hawaii, and it was an absolute dream! The house was exactly as described – truly wonderful. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and hospitality by our hosts. They even gave us a lovely tour of their lush gardens, which was a delightful surprise.The home itself was equipped with everything we could possibly need. We had an abundance of towels, linens, and cooking supplies, making our stay comfortable and convenient. Staying here truly enhanced our Hawaiian vacation, and we couldn't be more grateful for the experience. Highly recommend this charming place to anyone looking for a peaceful and enjoyable stay in Pahoa!

We absolutely loved our stay here. The place was extremely accommodating with more amenities than we could use. The ocean was steps away with great tide pools for exploring. If you’re a surfer, there is a great wave directly outside. Rudy was fantastic. She even gave us an extra late check out because our flight was later in the afternoon. If I’m ever back in Kona, I will be staying here.

Yoko and her husband were so kind! They brought us fresh fruit and always made sure we were comfortable.

Kathleen's place is an easy walk to restaurants and activities in Kona. The pool area was clean and not crowded when we were there. We utilized the beach chairs, snorkel gear, and cooler that were available.

We had an amazing stay at Yoko’s! The place was beautiful and had a very nice ambiance. Space seemed bigger than the pictures! Very clean! The water was a great touch and a lifesaver!! Kitchen was everything we needed!

Great Airbnb. Very clean and organized. The extras for the beach were super helpful such as towels, chairs etc. AC units worked very well at keeping it cool inside. Super cute and host was very easy to work with. We truly enjoyed our stay there!

The house is off the main road and had some road noise. (It didn't bother me and quite frankly I enjoyed hearing the birds & roosters.) Depending on which direction you are coming from, the sign can be easily hidden among nearby landscaping. The location was perfect - close to coffee farms and Pu'uhonua O Honaunau National Historical Park. There is a market nearby as well. There could be another guest staying in the studio which I knew from the listing but was a surprise to some of my family. Beds were comfortable and fit our needs. Only downside was 1 bathroom for 5 of us and lack of window coverings which I overlooked from the photos are made some of my family uncomfortable. If you stay here - we liked Black Rock pizza as an easy carry-out meal option foe the family. Yum!

Wir hatten einen exzellenten Aufenthalt in dieser Unterkunft. Besonders hervorragend war das sehr gemütliche Bett. Wir konnten in der Küche alles prima kochen und man konnte herrlich auf der Terrasse essen und den Sonnenuntergang genießen. Die Lage ist wunderschön mitten im Grünen mit Blick aufs Meer. Die Dusche war auch ausgezeichnet. Wir haben den Früchtekorb, Kaffee, Schokolade und Makademianüsse, die es kostenlos dazu gab, sehr genossen!

I wanted a quiet and peaceful place to stay for a few days and this home was perfect! The amenities were wonderful, the house itself is very cozy and comfortable, the craftsmanship of the home was stunning, it sits on a beautiful pot of land, and the short walk to the water was just the cherry on top. I had a wonderful time exploring all of Tabitha’s recommendations, utilizing their upper deck for stargazing in the evenings(she even provides star charts for you), and enjoying fresh coconut water provided by her son ($4 for a fresh coconut to be picked and delivered directly to your door! It doesn’t get better than that!). I had a really lovely time and will definitely be coming back!

we spent a week in Matthew's place and would be happy to come back on a future trip. The house is large and full of good stuff - games, kitchen stuff, and more. The immediate surroundings are beautiful as is the view from the porch. Matthew is extremelya helpful and thoughtful. He really cared that we will enjoy our stay. Indeed a five star host. Ocean view is about 90 mins from Kona airport. I suggest not arriving at dark the first time - the area is dark and following the maps app we entered one driveway too early - backing up at darkness was scary. Make sure to follow Matthew's instructions and not just the app. The driveway to the house is not fully paved. However, after you see the way once at daylight it becomes easier. overall, we could use the place as a most comfortable place from which we could reach volcano national park several times and many beaches. it was good to be back to a cosy place at night. We would be happy to do this again!

This is a very pleasant, comfortable house - nicely decorated and very functional. Hawi is a very charming and historic small town, off the beaten track and very peaceful, with a main street within walking distance from the house. We also liked the nicely laid out kitchen and the adjacent laundry room. With three grandkids, two at fifteen years and one at seven, we put everything to good use! Throughout our week in the house, Michael, Charlotte, and Maleigha were exceptionally responsive, friendly hosts. We'd love to visit again.

The most incredible AirBnB stay we have ever had. T was very communicative and helpful throughout our entire stay. We have never felt such peace and security. Beautiful home with the friendliest cats, Franny and Smoothie! T designed and built additional parts of the home and we can see the love put into it. We enjoyed the croaking of the frogs at night, the cuddles from the kitties, the spaciousness of the house, and the convenience of the washer, dryer, and kitchen. We are definitely inspired to live more sustainably and had a great time checking out T's recommendations for us. Looking forward to another stay in the future.

This place was perfect for holding my whole family. It was in a secluded area down the road from Akaka falls with beautiful scenery. There were neighbors around the property but hardly noticeable since we were surrounded by nature. We loved eating breakfast and dinners outside on the lovely patio and loved seeing the family of pigs and chickens on the property. I would recommend staying here and would love to visit this home again in the future.

This was my second stay here. Condo has been updated beautifully since my last stay in 2022. Stephen and Amber go above and beyond with extra touches. Felt very at home!

Would definitely return. Wendy and her partner were excellent and proactive hosts. Looking forward to staying longer on my next trip!

Location was perfect. Sunsets amazing. Loved that there was snorkeling and pool noodles at the condo. AC lovely.

Lori’s condo is amazing! We couldn’t have asked for a nicer location on the beach, within an easy 5-10 minute walk to the restaurants and shops of Kona. Five minute drive to Banyans and Lyman’s surf breaks too. We were so incredibly comfortable and the condo has everything you could possibly need. The description is right-on. We would definitely stay here next time.

The lanai is amazing. We watched surfers and enjoyed coffee every morning. And sunsets are priceless from the lanai and pool area. The condo is close to everything on the western shore. Magic Sands Beach is one mile south. Amazing snorkeling two miles south. Ali'i Drive is wonderful.

We had a wonderful time! Stunning view and balcony right over the water — amazing sunsets. Very responsive and helpful. When we were missing bathsoap and on the last roll of TP, she had the housekeeper come over within 1-2 hours to restock for us (and brought us a box of chocolates). We loved listening to the waves, and seriously could not ask for a better view! Also a generally nice location that was only a very pleasant ~15 minute walk to a restaurant/shopping area. Greatly enjoyed our stay while we were here!

Grade: 10. Kona Dave's condo is fantastic. you're outside main buzz of Kauleia Kona, but a short walk from all the action. Best part is that you can walk to town on a service road, so no traffic. and you're just steps from Huggos and On the Rocks, two great places fro drinks and food. Building is solid, well built with a tropical garden in the middle. ocean views are incredible and you can sleep wit windows open and hear the ocean. super comfy king size bed with fans. we never used the AC in June. place has everything you need, towels, great beach chairs, kitchen is well stocked, great oven. Pool area has 4 very nice grills to prepare food and dine al fresco. pool and hot tub are also very nice. chaise loungers by the ocean are a nice treat. covered parking garage is a bonus and easy access to the condo. Kona Dave is super responsive and a wonderful host. great recommendations in the folder at home and by messaging. one of the best vacations and money spent ever. Come and enjoy!
