Such a cute place with so much charm! It had everything we needed and was such a good location close to many restaurants, shops and a great park down the road. We hope to come back to visit!

Great location, comfy bed, interesting building, great view. Felt safe and was quiet. Note that there is not currently a walkable grocery store but you can get the train to one or use ride share.

This was our 4th stay at Mel and John’s place. One our favorite Airbnbs. Very friendly hosts who are super responsive. Apartment has a fully stocked kitchen with all you need to prepare meals. Lovely neighborhood with great access to a large park with lots of great trails and access to other parks. Easy access for the Minnesota state fair

Roger and Vicki were responsive, friendly hosts. They were eager to ensure that we had everything we needed and flexible in working with us for check-in and check-out. We even received some homemade baked goods, a delightful bonus 😊 The unit was comfy and well-appointed. We loved the ability to allocate our rental donation at the Shelter with a Cause. As an added plus, we got to shelter in the basement with the hosts and some of their family members when the tornado sirens sounded just minutes after our arrival! We appreciated being taken care of so well 😊

Can’t recommend Kari’s place enough! We did a Mother’s Day/Girls trip to Stillwater and the 4 of us were very comfortable. Just a few steps off Main Street, and on the same cross street as the lift bridge. Clean, comfortable beds/pillows, spacious. We’ll definitely be back again!!

Darwin’s Digs is a historic, comfortable and welcoming space from which to explore the Twin cities. Its prime location and low density makes it easy to access central entertainment, sports, convention venues and restaurants without the need for a car. The light rail US Bank stop from MSP is a pleasant 15 minute walk. Chris is a wonderful host and as a fellow adventurer has equipped the studio with everything - plus! The mini umbrella and the basement luggage storage were a lifesaver. The bed, linens and pillows are high quality and super comfortable. I personally loved the claw foot tub and the wire shelf in the bathroom was handy for organizing. Would definitely return or look further afield at the rest of Chris’s listings.

Loved staying here with my family while dropping in for a quick visit in the twin cities. The lakes district is absolutely stunning, the architecture of the surrounding neighborhoods is hypnotizing. Staying here you’re located on a block away from Cedar lake and within striking distance of downtown MPLS. If you’re a runner/walker/biked the trail access is incredible. Access to the backyard area is quite nice in the summer as well! Thanks for hosting our lovely weekend! Cheers.

The pictures do not do this air bnb justice. We loved this air bnb and one of the best we have stayed in. The home is nice and inviting. It was super clean and everything worked as it should. The air bnb was nicely done and didn’t have any squeaky floors. The residence is separate from the main hosts. They will wave and say hi but they are not a bother. They are responsive as well. There is WiFi from 6am-10 pm, which wasn’t an issue for us. With most air bnbs, they give 1 roll of toilet paper but there are stores within 6 miles. Theres lot of parks and shopping in the area and it’s a safe neighborhood. There is a love seat in the living room. The only small complaint is the bed is not as pictured. My husband is very tall and does not fit in bed with a footboard. The bed in the listing showed one without a footboard but when we got there, there was a different bed frame. Not a huge issue though and we made it work.

We decided on Stillwater as a fun place to celebrate our 50th wedding anniversary with our two kids from Oregon and Colorado. We were specifically looking for a place that was in a beautiful setting near water. Bryan's listing was a perfect match! We loved watching the birds at the feeders, enjoyed time on the patio and enjoyed sitting in front of the fireplace in the evening. Lots of large windows let us gaze at the incredible view of the lake. We invited a few local friends and family to join us for an anniversary open house and Byran put extra leaves in the dining table and got out folding chairs for our guests before we arrived. He was so considerate of our plans! We had the best celebration ever and know that anyone who chooses to book this vacation spot will absolutely love it! Tom & Debbe from Iowa

We had such a great stay! The home was exactly as described, Kelly was extremely responsive, easy to find, many things to do in the area, private area, and it was so nice having ziplocks, condiments, seasonings, shampoo, etc. available for us! Our stay was everything we were looking for plus some additional amenities! It's hard to find a place that can accommodate our dogs and feels safe for our 2 year old but this cabin was fun and relaxing for everyone. We will definitely be coming back

Loved this little house!!! We came here for a graduation and everything was walking distance. House was such a cool vibe and beautiful! We had a great time and this place is very quite private and peaceful. Parking was convenient also. Would for sure stay here again!

The home was definitely a home away from home. Conveniently located quick on & off the freeway and a short distance to our dog event. Beds were very comfy and plenty of space to air our dogs out. Thank you for sharing your home.

The home exceeded all of our expectations! It was much lovelier than the photos and everything we needed to know was explained in writing by the hosts or carefully labeled including light switches, etc. The attention to detail was evident everywhere from the stunning restoration, the quality of the furniture, the art work, the TV placement, the exquisite bedding and towels, the luxuriousness of the pillows and mattresses, and the well-stocked kitchen. Every time any one of us thought “It would be nice if they had…”, it would already be there in a drawer or closet. I will say the stairs to floors two and three were a bit steep, but not unusual for such a home built in 1912. The hosts were easily reachable and very responsive. We hated to leave. It was well worth the price.

So much better than a hotel - my family put together a puzzle, had a fire by the lake, played games with laughter and privacy, Grampa took a nap on the screen porch, money saved by cooking and had fun doing it in a kitchen ready for anything! Everything we needed was there and more- plus labels made even light switches clear at first glance! The best comment was - "I could stay here a week!" - and the photos will be memory keepers of birds in the trees and deer across the lake and mostly my family caring for one another.

A group of us stayed at Nona's place during Big Turn Music Fest weekend. We had an absolute blast, and this stay was everything we wanted. Of note: The home is super spacious, and even with eight people, we all were able to retreat to our own little corners whenever we needed a break. The view is simply stunning. We arrived after dark and it was a treat to wake up to the sight of the frozen river and bluffs in the morning. The kitchen was the best AirBnb kitchen I've ever stayed in. A fully stocked spice cabinet, baking basics, excellent dish and cookware (including Le Creuset!!), and a coffee/appliance nook with everything you'd need. We weren't bothered by the train or the nearby airport and the stay was super peaceful, while also close enough to Red Wing for an easy trip to the music. Thank you, Nona, for a great weekend!

I have nothing but good things to say about my stay here! The location is absolutely stunning! The views of the water were perfect! The home is spacious, updated, and comfortable! So much light! The floor to ceiling windows make you never want to leave. Good local, very family oriented restaurants and shops in the area, most of which were walking distance or a very short drive. I felt safe, comfortable, and at peace here. I travel often and use hotels, airbnb, and other lodging options and this is sitting near the top of my list of locations to stay! 100% recommend booking at the flats!

We had a great stay! A little bump getting in at first, but the hosts were very helpful and responsive and made sure that we made it in successfully and that there were no further issues!!

My husband and parents and I were in town for the weekend to visit our daughter. The area was perfect and centrally located for us. The condo was clean and well kept. Jason was very responsive to questions I had regarding parking. I just wish the weather would have nicer to use the outdoor deck! I would say the only downfall (and no fault of the owner) is that it was a bit noisy at night with people outside. However, when going to a city that is expected.

Second time staying here and we love it for a girls trip! Located right downtown. Stay was great lots of bedding. Only downside was the upstairs patio was under construction and that was never mentioned prior to checkin. Was a bummer because we were all excited to sit out there the first night as it was a beautiful Minnesota spring day. Otherwise stay was great!!!

This was a very cute place, I can definitely see it being a fun place for a large group! The trains could be a little noisy at night, but that can’t be helped. Earplugs are an easy solution for light sleepers. Otherwise, this was such a cute and unique standout from so many other airbnbs in this area.

Such a wonderful, comfortable, cozy, and functional space! In addition to being supremely comfortable, unique, and comforting, the condo was extremely functional and well thought-out. Owner has clearly given tremendous attention to detail, as this place was missing NONE of the creature comforts that are so often absent from other AirBnB listings. This was easily one of the best AirBnB listings we've ever experienced. We could've been completely happy hunkering down and staying indoors to enjoy this place. The fact that there are also so many restaurants, shops, and quaint small town attractions within blocks of the front door made it all that much better. We will look for an opportunity to come back to this place very soon!

We had an excellent stay at Lisa's beautiful home! It is on the ground floor but there are some stairs to reach it (back door has 6 steps down), which Lisa kindly let me know prior to booking. The location is extremely convenient and quiet, the neighborhood seemed very safe and private as well. Lisa's home was pristine with plenty of supplies for cooking and plenty of places to sit and relax. The bed was super comfortable, on the softer side but still supportive and there were black out curtains in every room which let us sleep very well. The bathroom was spotless with soft towels and Lisa had very thoughtfully left some small amenities such as toothbrushes and make up wipes etc which was an extra kind touch. The decor was awesome with lots of books and art and Lisa had left little notes everywhere explaining how her home worked and also giving interesting information! I would stay again and would highly recommend! Thank you so much again Lisa!!
