Monthly Rentals in Houlton

Jenny & her Loft were an excellent for my 40th birthday get away in Stillwater! As a fun space and exciting location, we enjoyed our time there very much! Jenny was very helpful and added to the positive experience! Will let others know about it!

We stayed at Nathan's for a girls' weekend. We stayed in the first night and cooked ourselves and had all the tools/utensils necessary. Loved the beautiful location by the lake. We took a walk Saturday morning on the walking path, and it was just perfect! Nice being out and away, but just a short drive to downtown and shopping/restaurants! The beds were very comfortable, and the fireplace was wonderful! We played games right in front of it. He had the game Headbandz, and we played that both nights, and decided we're buying it to play when we all go up north in June!

On our second stay at the South Hill Carriage House confirmed all the fun and relaxation we found the first time we stayed here! The outstanding amenities of the Carriage House make us feel so welcome. Everything we could want, and more than we'd ever think of, are provided. All of that, along with the neighborhood setting offers a great atmosphere for relaxing. We love to walk and while everything is an easy drive, there are endless opportunities for walking, including right outside the Carriage House door! Our new favorite restaurant is the You and Me Cafe, a great spot for coffee, breakfast, or lunch...and it's just a 10 minute walk away (or 2 minutes by car). Stillwater and the surrounding area are filled with beautiful river scenery, delicious food, and interesting shops. Those all made our stay fun.

Exactly what we needed while our home was being remodeled. We stayed at Stays place (with our two cats) which was fully furnished with everything we needed for the 4 months we stayed. We met friendly neighbors, and visited downtown often for both shopping and dining. My wife is a runner and took advantage of the local forested trails and we enjoyed touring the eclectic houses in the neighborhood. Lens grocery store is within walking distance and so is Nelsons Ice cream (known for their generous portions.) Check-in was easy with our own personally selected door code and Stacy quickly responded to all our communications. We had to make some adjustments to our stay dates a couple of times and Stacy was flexible enough to accommodate us, and we are grateful. A flawless experience from start to finish – truly a gem!
