Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Hitchcock

The place is so nice and peaceful. We came down for funeral and this became our home away from home for 4 nights. The beds are so comfortable and the rooms are nicely decorated. The kitchen was supplied with everything we needed. Thanks Keely for sharing your beautiful home. We greatly appreciated you and your hospitality. We will most definitely stay there again!

I have stayed with Kenneth several times. He is a wonderful host and the property is beautiful. The home has any and everything a person could need to have a wonderful stay! I truly can’t say enough good things about Kenneth and his properties!

Just what we needed! The house was super clean! Ivan responded right away when I had questions. Overall was just a really good stay and recommend this place if you need a quiet, clean, and simple place to stay. Hosts 6 people comfortably.

Every time I messaged there was an extremely prompt response. One of the reasons we chose this property was due to the enclosed yard (able to park our vehicles inside the gate) and a private area. If there was a concern or question it was taken care of. Only thing I could have asked for was better water pressure & hotter water in the master bathroom (to be able to use that amazing bathtub). Overall... great place!!! The neighbors were very friendly & welcoming which gave it an even more "at home" feeling.

So far Jaimie and Todd’s is my top Air BnB in my trip lists. This was old gfs get together for some historical house hunting and exploration of Galveston History and Boliver Island beach. Our days were filled with adventure but each night we loved to come back to relax. Enjoyed the firepit, the claw foot bubble baths we opted to take vs showers each night! Helped us all sleep better, a luxury none of could enjoy at home with the dogs and kids! Our lil vacation escape was like a DIYers dream. They used every ounce of character in the property to transform it into a cosy shotgun style rental. It is perfect size. Bed comfy. Street quiet. Parking was never an issue right out front. We did have 2 minor issues that were quickly addressed but that we will look back to as best memories….one morning one of the girls took her bath while we slept….but as she tried to leave the bath knob fell out in her hand. Lol. She texted us to let her out and all slept right through!!🤦‍♀️🤣🤣 hysterical!!

This was the second Michael and Ashley Air B&B I’ve stayed in. Love the decor and historic vibe! Beautiful hardwood floors, kitchen decor, and location! We will be watching the Save Galveston website for future listings!

Clint is nice and very respectful We enjoyed his place very much !! Can’t wait to book again! Lots to do and equipped with everything you need specially if y’all love the out doors & lakes… The house is very welcoming and very grand to your needs! I highly recommend Clint’s place !

Ashely was an outstanding host!! I got to stay here for 3 nights and it was very cozy and clean. The house had all of our wants and needs, so we felt right at home. It was very close to the beach and other stores which was an amazing plus!! Definitely wouldn’t mind staying again

The location of this Airbnb was absolutely perfect—close to everything we needed and in a great neighborhood. I absolutely loved the apartment! The structure had so much character, and the hardwood floors added a warm, elegant touch. One of my favorite parts was waking up to the sunrise pouring in through the open curtains—truly a breathtaking sight every morning. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay in an unbeatable location— right on the beach and just a short walk to numerous restaurants and entertainment options. Valerie was an exceptional host: warm, welcoming, and full of helpful recommendations that made our week-long visit even better. The basement apartment was clearly renovated with care and thoughtfully decorated.

Daniel & Sam were the sweetest, always made sure to check in on you and that we didn’t need anything. Their place is just beautiful. I could’ve stayed on the balcony the whole time. We’ve stayed in many places in Galveston, and this one was by far our favorite.

We enjoyed our stay at Andrew's Place. The location was easy to find and the code to get into the home was easy to remember. It was nice to know that our dogs were welcomed and we all enjoyed walking the neighborhood and the park across the street. We had easy access to all of the things that we had planned to do in Houston. Whenever we had questions, Andrew responded quickly. We would highly recommend this location to anyone visiting the Houston area.

Great place to stay in Galveston, just one block away from the seawall. The Airbnb itself was actually better than expected, large and impeccably clean. The bed was super comfortable and the water pressure in the shower was excellent. I stayed here for a few days l working remotely and the internet was plenty fast for my purposes. I cannot find any fault with this Airbnb or the host and will definately plan on booking here again in the near future. Thank you!

Isle of Tortuga was a beautiful spot for the short week, all of the furnishings were sparkly clean and super fun for an island theme. The condo has a perfect setup and absolutely everything you might need, Jaime Lynn and VInce really accommodated their guests far above expectations, coffee and tea station was better than home and even had lots of snack options. Condo and furnishings were spotless and very fresh, bedding very nice and nice fluffy towels, comfortable beds and furniture. Can't say enough how much better than a cramped hotel and the view and location, WOW!! Wake up to the ocean! and convenient to walk right across to, no beach parking needed, its right there! All other AIrbnb's will have to live up to this one now-fantastic!

Had a great time! Space was just what we needed with 4 kids and was very clean. Loved that it was such an easy walk to the beach and then showers and a pool to clean off and relax afterward. Security was present and good, parking was easy, not in a super busy area but not far from the main attractions of the sea wall. Will love to come back again!

We love the less busier side of the beach, better known as West side I believe closer to Galveston fishing pier. Terra and Darin’s place was perfect! Smaller set of condos was nice. Extremely clean and very up to date. Lots of room. Everything you need really for a few days. I packed stuff I usually bring when we stay in BnB’s and I didn’t need them because they had provided it. They also have beach towels (which we did use) and some beach chairs (we didn’t use). The complex has a pool and hot tub both very clean and Drew, manager on site was nice and very helpful as we lost our parking pass in the wind/rain storms that came through abruptly while we were there. The pictures they have posted are spot on. Balcony to sit and watch the cars go by and waves come in. They did very well with this lay out, colors and stocking of goods! Only negative which is out of their control is the seaweed on the beach this year and I wish the city had a walkway on this end.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Location was fabulous, the condo was perfect for 3 adults and a toddler. Wendy had everything we needed except for food and drink. She even had coffee with sugar and creamer at the ready! Wendy notified me prior to check in that the cleaner reported the fold out bed in the couch had a broke leg and was willing to have a replacement delivered the same night! I declined as it wasn’t necessary for us and we wouldn’t need that extra bed. She was prompt with communication and was clear with check in and check out instructions. Front office was friendly and actually had affordable laundry soap so I didn’t have to make another trip to Walmart which btw is walking distance! The pools were fabulous and the condo is right outside the more kid friendly pool. Elevator was broke by our room but we managed. We could have used one on the opposite side but it wasn’t terrible for us. This is located on the top floor (4th floor) definitely keeping this gem saved! Great first time A-BNB experience! ❤️

I booked this room for a couple days stay while I visited the cancer hospital. The room was exactly as described with the most amazing view. We actually had the best view of the ocean that we’ve ever had during a stay. Everything you could need for a true vacation was there just as described. Cheryle messaged and check on us and when I messaged her she responded immediately. The only thing disappointing is that I didn’t have more days off to stay and enjoy this longer. Will do my best to try to stay here again.

Lilly is the perfect host and I have enjoyed coming to this condo two summers in a row. Five star experience for everything involved in booking through Airbnb and she is a kind and gracious, helpful host. Sincerely, Kevin P.
