Vacation rentals with lake access in Hitchcock

We can not say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay at this exceptional home. The owners have thought of everything. First off, this is a beautiful home with nice touches everywhere. The kitchen is one of the most well appointed we've experienced in any AirBnB home. The furniture is very, very, comfortable. The gas fire places inside and out are really nice for chilly evenings. The location is spectacular with water views in both the front and back of the house. If you have a dog, the large fenced in yard is great. There are all kinds of comfortable outdoor seating options and last but not least, the. owners are extremely responsive and go well above and beyond to make sure you have a perfect stay!

This was perfect place for our small group to spread out and still enjoy meals together. Franchesca's place is tucked away in an industrial town along the river providing a nice place to relax. Definitely stay again if available!

I wanted to celebrate my 60th birthday with a lovely water view and with my large family. We have the added consideration of my son-in-law, who has suffered a stroke and is seriously disabled. The house at Kemah was wonderfully perfect. The views over the bay are gorgeous - even on cloudy winter days. The home is spacious and we did not feel crowded. There is an elevator, which allowed my son-in-law be upstairs with us. The home owner provides plenty of things to do, including games and puzzles, ping pong, and fuze ball. Fishing on the lovely pier is another option. There is a prep table to fillet your catch and a refrigerator designated to store it, so the kitchen fridge stays fish-smell free. We stayed in for our meals, but the house is very close to the boardwalk and you can walk to restaurants and bars. 1 of 2 ovens is labeled out of service, and so is the fireplace. Also. the dishwasher doesn’t clean well. For us, these were not problems. We all hope to stay here again!

I had a fantastic experience staying at Lala’s place. The home was exactly as described and very clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully decorated. Check-in was seamless, and communication with the host was quick and easy. The location was perfect, close to the cheer venue we had to be at. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area. Thanks again for a great stay!

Collen and Erika have been amazing hosts. From the moment we book the house till after our stay, they made sure our experience was exceptional. The were able to accommodate a BBQ grill request, which was more than they had to do because I could have brought one. The beach house was extremely clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the calm views and our time fishing.

We spent a wonderful weekend here, just a few steps away from the beautiful beach, with two families and our dogs. Wow, this house is newly built and equipped with everything you need for a perfect beach getaway. There was even a warm hot tub ready for us, and thoughtful amenities for our dogs as well! We've traveled to many places, but I can confidently say that the stay and the services provided here surpassed any 5-star hotel we've experienced. And the host, Jakeb, is incredibly kind and professional. If you're reading this, don't hesitate— and enjoy everything this place has to offer! Our families have already decided to return. Andrea was super helpful from the moment I booked until check out. We were delighted to find fresh baked cookies and blueberry cream cheese bread gifted to us for our stay. Such a thoughtful touch to an already amazing stay. The house was located in one of our favorite neighborhoods. It was neatly organized, clean and had everything you could need for a quick or even extended stay. There was plenty of space for my family of 5 to be able to spread out and enjoy our stay. The hosts were very communicative. Check in/out was very easy. We hope to return the next time we are in the area visiting our family.

House was great, area was beautiful and quiet. very nice home, will be coming back. previous guest took some amenities that Curtis was unaware of. Curtis drove 3 hours immediately to drop off new hair dryers for the girls as soon as I let him know. The beach is beautiful and close, fishing is great, food is amazing, and the Island is incredible.

We absolutely loved Tracy’s space! It was immaculate upon check-in. It had everything we needed to make meals at home. Tracy was very responsive and great to talk to. Her patio was our absolute favorite ❤️ we utilized it everyday in the mornings with coffee, and at night with a night cap. The breezes were great and the sounds of the water were serene. It was a very nice quiet and relaxing atmosphere. We felt right at home. We will most definitely be returning next year.

I love this home away from home. I stayed for 6 weeks and it was wonderful. Paul is very respectful and doesn't bother you at home. He had a small puzzle collections, which I loved! I also added a few to his collections. I would highly recommend his place he has everything you need and more. Very quiet and private.

What can I say besides being at a affordable price, the host is great. I had to arrive early and he was so nice to allow me to arrive before the check-in time. He is very helpful, very responsive. Every message I sent him, he would respond within 10 minutes tops. The place is just perfect for what we needed. It is only 1 bedroom but oh so spacious. Has the basic amenities, coffee maker, pots and pans, utensils and plates, napkins. I travel for work so I carry my cooking spices and cooking utensils with me but it is a very clean, spacious place. The apartments may look outdated but Vince has updated his place to a more modern look so that was nice. I would and will definitely look for him again if the need arises. Very nice home. Very clean. Two thing to note… - there was a small problem but the owners were super responsive and took care of it for us immediately. - the bedroom is very comfortable. We ended up sleeping in a lot lol
