Family-friendly vacation rentals in Hitchcock

Thanks for a very comfortable stay @ your Airbnb. Would recommend it to anyone who visits Houston.The place is ideally located, within walking distance of the restaurants and shops. Having a Garage and laundry facility was super helpful . Trent is very responsive. We had a plumbing issue. Trent fixed it at the earliest. Thank you Trent for an enjoyable experience.

Great place for two families with toddlers to spend a long weekend! The view from the balcony was great, and the pool and the lazy river were a ton of fun. The room itself was good for a long weekend, but it might have felt a little cramped if the stay was much longer than that. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and will definitely consider it for our next trip to Galveston!

This place was an absolute gem! It had great access to the beach, and the host was super responsive and friendly. The hot tub was amazing, and the kitchen was big enough for our guests. There were a lot of games for the kids, and the kids’ room even had arcade games (like Pac-Man and Street Fighter). That definitely kept the kids off their phones! I’ll definitely recommend this place for any vacation or family gathering. We’ll definitely be back!

We enjoyed our stay at Nam's place. We were central to all of the attractions of the sea wall, yet her place was a peaceful retreat. Nam was responsive and ensured we had a smooth check-in.

This was our second time staying here. It is our go to airbnb when staying in Galveston, close to the Seawall. Will stay here again in the future! We enjoy the pool & hot tub.

We really enjoyed our stay at this condo. It was our first family vacation with our toddler. Everything went smoothly and we were able to create great memories. Gary & Anna were very responsive and helpful!

Excellent stay-we rent a beach house for our five sons and families every summer-this was the best. Very responsive, attentive host. Very accommodating. Complete kitchen with large pots and skillets for a large group-especially appreciated the griddle and crock pot. Plenty of silverware, dishes, and cups for a large group. Plenty of towels-not just bath, but also beach towels! Great location-just walk across the street to the beach. Loved the beach toys for the kids and even a rake for the seaweed. Three bathrooms AND an outdoor shower! Two downstairs bedrooms were great for one son with a disability and one couple needing quiet from the baby. Lots of games to play and even books to read. Parking was amazing- driveway makes it so no one was boxed in. We really recommend Lucky's Lookout.

loved our stay. the house easily accommodated 3 generations with different interests. the bedrooms were a good size and the open living/dining area made it easy to gather. the hot tub was a huge hit with everyone and the outdoor shower made it easy to get the sand off. Great house!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. A beautiful place to stay in Surfside. The home is well kept, and beautiful both inside and out. Very spacious and organized, making it easy for our family to settle in and feel at home. Very nice kitchen appliances and utensils. We loved the fenced in yard for our kids to run around it, when we didn't make it to the beach. The short walk to the beach was perfect to avoid the holiday traffic rush. Sitting next to the highway did make it a bit loud in the evenings when traffic was busy. The owners were kind and very responsive and helpful with any of our questions. Overall, it was a lovely place to stay and we will definitely will be returning visitors!

I am a beach girl with a large family ranging from toddler to elderly. Every year I plan our family annual beach vacation the Tuesday after Memorial Day. This beach cabin was quaint, just enough not too fancy for my family. By FAR MY FAVORITE in over 15 years! The view was spectacular! The little path to the beach lined with yellow buttercups. The double decks provided family in great chairs in the evening conversing . Brown pelicans soared above us in lines. We fed seagulls from the deck. We could wave at the grandchildren from the deck. The ships lined up to the port of Galveston and twinkled in the night. Gorgeous The salt air and the sounds of the waves from the deck could not be replicated. The second deck my husband and I would sneak away and drink coffee. Every bedroom had a TV. We made gumbo to salads no lack of utensils or pans. It felt like home.

Our stay at the Lone Palm Resort will be forever etched in our minds as one of the best vacations . Jaclyn's home was everything it is described to be and more . Every room was pristinely cleaned, everything you would ever need is supplied, the views, the sunrises, the sound of the waves , the peacefulness that is there is second to none . We couldn't have asked for a better vacation home . We will definitely be back !

Great place to stay. Felt right at home. Beautiful home and gated yard, which was great for our dog. The owner even had extra things for us when we arrived which was so sweet. We will definitely be staying there again when we come back to Houston.

Kim’s place provided exactly what my soul needed. This was our first getaway in 2 years after caring for our senior Great Dane who passed at age 12 on May 21. My husband and I enjoyed BCN, a Michelin Star restaurant only 8 min away. Kim’s home is close to the River Oaks shops, lots of restaurants and coffee shops and vintage clothing shops. You can walk to Trader Joe’s and Target! Her neighborhood is walkable which we and our dogs loved. As for Kim’s place, the space is welcoming with her beautifully adorned glass art, cold a.c., great shower water pressure and temp, comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen. Kim’s garden is magical with gorgeous plumeria plants throughout. I enjoyed sitting on her enclosed screened patio and taking it all in and listening to the gentle wind chimes and the birds singing. Kim is responsive and available for everything you need. I 100% recommend you stay here.

Great place to stay! We walked to the beach every day that we were there. It was really helpful that they had beach towels and chairs for us to use. Very responsive when I had anything that needed tended to! would stay again!

Absolutely adored the place....well decorated, well maintained and very clean...was loaded with amenities and everything needed for comfort and feel at home. The shower was hot as I like and bed very comfortable. I brought my own white noise machine but did not need it because one was already provided. The hostess was very attentive and prompt with responding. The views of beach was therapeutic and amazing. Casa Del Mar staff was very friendly and professional. My husband and I spent 8 days in Galveston and it was perfect.

It was our first time, and the experience was very nice. I really didn't know how it was going to be because it was our first time doing this, but my family and I loved the place, the super relaxing pool, especially the view towards Galveston Bay, very beautiful and what I liked the most, that you can fish all day. And also the apartment is super comfortable, it's big enough for the family, my children and I loved everything, they had fun in the pool, and fishing all day and they loved everything. Nice place to stay around the area, it’s peaceful and protected by a nearby police station. Kemah board walk is really close, recommend staying here for activity.

Best Air B&B experience yet! Beautiful view of the gulf from the bedroom and living room. Nice size kitchen with everything we needed. Cat was very responsive to all communications. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place for our trip. House was exactly what we expected and more. Very comfortable, large bathrooms, kitchen had plenty of supplies and the pool was great for relaxing. Philip was very responsive and we would definitely go back.
