Lake houses in Canyon Lake

My friends and I loved this place! It was so beautiful and had so much space for us to do anything! It’s very close to Canyon Lake and it a good distance from New Braunfels! We loved this house

Came here with a group of 9 and we felt right at home. Laura had thought of everything and we did not go without! The views were amazing and the beds were very comfortable. Great location if you're looking to go tubing or to Canyon Lake. Laura was also super responsive and attentive to our needs. Only complaint is that our vacation wasn't long enough! Will absolutely be back again!

Place was Amazing! Very close to town, making driving to Restaurants/Exploring really nice and easy. Hot tub was nice and private made the evening very enjoyable. Very nice and cozy atmosphere at night as well.

As I sit here and write this review I'm comparing my pictures that I took to the pictures of the rental and the more disappointed I'm getting. The pictures are nothing like what is shown for outside. The inside of the house was awesome. As for outside the grass was overgrown. The number of chairs that are shown was way less. Not to mention of the two chairs one was broke. Luckily we brought our own chairs. No corn was provided for the deer. I did reach out about the corn and was told it was in the pantry, but there wasn't any there. If you are not going to enjoy the outdoors and plan on staying inside this house is perfect. I wish there was a way to provide my pictures for reference.

Our stay at this incredible lake house in Canyon Lake was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the panoramic views of the water, the peaceful surroundings, and the thoughtfully designed home. The house itself is beautifully maintained, with a perfect mix of modern comfort and rustic charm. Spacious bedrooms, a fully equipped kitchen, and cozy common areas made it easy for our whole group to relax and enjoy our time together. The large deck overlooking the lake quickly became our favorite spot — ideal for morning coffee, afternoon lounging, and sunset dinners. One of the standout features was private lake access. We loved being able to swim, kayak, and paddleboard right from the backyard. Evenings were spent in the hot tub under the stars — truly unforgettable. The location is perfect: secluded enough to feel like a true escape, yet close enough to town for groceries.

My daughter, my sweet 9-yr-old grandboxer, Gertie, & I had the best spur of the moment getaway at this lovely lake house. We enjoyed it so much, we added an extra day! Gertie was just diagnosed with a serious heart condition, so physical activity is now limited. She can’t play like she wants/used to or even go for long walks. We have to get creative with ways to stimulate & entertain her, so this affected where we chose to stay. The huge main deck was the perfect, most peaceful & beautiful “giant playpen” for Gertie to enjoy the outdoors & make new friends with all the deer, squirrels & birds. She LOVED it! We did, too, & spent most of our time out there making priceless memories with our sweet girl. Everything is exactly as shown & described. We had easy, ongoing communication with both Marisol & Carmen. It felt like talking to kind, helpful neighbors. Thank you, Marisol, for your parting sweet message about Gertie. We hope to be back to make more memories w her. We LOVED our stay!❤️?

The house was beautiful! Large kitchen and living room. All the bedrooms were extra roomy. The back yard was so relaxing by the fire pit!

This vacation home was everything we wanted and more! My friends and I truly enjoyed every single thing. Will 100% book this again next year!

We stayed at this wonderful home for three days. It was just as described in the listing and photos! The home was perfect for our sisters’ weekend. We had three adults and really enjoyed the large sofa to catch up and play games. We used the kitchen to prepare every meal and had so much fun in the game room. The surroundings are beautiful and quiet. We used the fire pit and saw several deer during our visit. The beds were comfortable and the water pressure was great. Our host was responsive and it was easy to check in and out. We would definitely stay here again!

Place was cozy, very nice view, and very clean. Overall plenty of parking, perfect spot in between San Antonio and Austin. Pool was perfect temperature and clean, hot tub as well. Will be coming back for sure.

This is a truly lovely place, near enough to Wimberley but isolated enough that you feel away from it all. It's exactly what we were looking for and I expect we'll return!

The place exceeded our expectations and comfortably accommodated all seven of us—even with a baby. The house had all the little touches you could think of. We were greeted by several deer in the backyard when we arrived, which delighted everyone from my grandson to my mother-in-law. They especially enjoyed feeding the deer with the corn that had been thoughtfully provided. We hope to return soon!

The unit was very clean. It had everything we needed. We loved the deck in the back of the house. Very peaceful, relaxing, like sitting in a large tree house with the trees around us. Russell was very responsive to any questions we had.

This place was exactly as advised and Cynthia was a wonderful host. We had a wonderful time at the house and at the river and Cynthia brought us some cookies on a last day by the river. What a wonderful home and property to share with visitors. Thank you!

Great family vacation spot! We loved it.

Delyn was managing our stay and she was a fantastic host! She brought my kiddos cookies from Crumbl for no reason. Just a surprise drop off then a text letting us know it was there. I asked for hangers, she went to Walmart and bought them, again dropping them off then texting letting us know they were there. The house was clean, organized and was easy to make it a home away from home.

We enjoyed our stay here. The washing machine was pretty moldy, but the host immediately sent someone to clean it. Just as advertised, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you!

Barbara and Reid were amazing hosts! I love how inviting and helpful they were! They met us in the morning to have a quick chat! The guesthouse was a perfect size for my two friends and I. The bed was extremely comfortable, the bathroom was clean, and they even supplied us with some ice for our cooler. Thank yall so much for everything the stay was beautiful!

We had a blast at this house. Beautiful location and great views.

We used this getaway for a girls cozy weekend away. It was perfect for morning coffee on the balcony, walks near the water, board games, lovely meals, and comfy movie night. We had a wonderful time and would go there again in a heartbeat!

Samir was a wonderful host. The instructions laid out for the airbnb use were clear and straightforward. The house was clean and in great condition. The location was incredibly serene and we enjoyed seeing all of the deer throughout the neighborhood! I highly recommend staying in Samir’s home should you be in town!

Great and welcoming home! Everything was so nice and clean. Host was very responsive and helpful with any of our questions. The view of everything was amazing and it has the lake and river near by. I definitely recommend you staying here.
