Barrier-free access-free access to the apartment. Kuopio city center is 2.5 km away. There is a bus stop in front of the apartment, from which two lines run to the center of Kuopio in 10 minutes. From the apartment, you can easily access the Puijonlaakso hiking trails, which continue to Puijo. Next to it is also the beautiful Sammakkolampi and a cozy park area with swimming beaches.

In the winter, the possibility of sledding from the yard directly to the Heinävesi sled trails. Great opportunities for outdoor activities along side roads or nearby forests. The yard can accommodate a truck. It's possible to rent for stays longer than 2 nights.

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
