There is also culture nearby, e.g. Valamo Monastery (12 km), Palokissa Ronttopuisto (16 km) and Varistaipaleen canals and museum (12 km). Karvio's rapids and shop are 7.8 km away. There is a rowbout for fishing, terrace and dock for swimming and spending time by beautiful lake scenery. There are some neighbours nearby.
