New 2023! Chalet Wasserkuppe hot tub & sauna

We were lucky enough to spontaneously spend the Easter holidays in the beautiful chalet and had a great time with the family (8 adults, 1 toddler). The chalet is located in a very quiet area on the mountain and is great for a wellness or hiking holiday. The host Dirk was always very accommodating and eager and always communicated quickly. The chalet was very clean and with a lot of love for detail, we felt very comfortable. The highlight was of course sauna and hot tub - we will be happy to come back!

We stayed at Lilly and Rolf’s place together with our friends and kids and had a wonderful stay. They were very kind in letting us check in early and made sure we had everything we needed. We were welcomed with seasonal drinks and given great recommendations. Their place is a short walk to the subway and the accommodation is really comfortable and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

I had a very pleasant stay at Melanie's. The apartment is located in a quiet, green environment, ideal for relaxing after a long day of work. Everything was exactly as described, and the place is, as seen in the pictures, extremely clean and maintained. The connection to the highway is excellent, and Nuremberg is easily accessible in 15-20 minutes. On site there is also a charming old town with many shops. The apartment is well equipped, there was nothing missing. Thanks for the three nights, I'd love to come back!

We traveled as a family with two children (3 & 4 years), the apartment was clean and the beds comfortable. There were blinds on all the windows, which was a big plus for us. The apartment itself is a bit noisy, but that didn't bother us. There are two bus stops, one in 4 and the other about a 10-minute walk away, and there is a private parking space at the apartment where you can safely park your car. There is a lot to discover in the area (forest playground, Playmobil park, Nuremberg, the Fürtermare thermal baths, walking paths...) The neighbors were friendly and communication with Michael was super easy and he responded quickly and helpfully to any concerns. We handled the check-in contactlessly via key box, which gave us flexibility in terms of arrival time. We are more than happy to recommend the place!

We had a great stay at Toni's vacation home! The house is modern, tastefully furnished and well equipped – nothing is missing. The location is ideal, with beautiful views of fields and forests. During the day we took walks, and in the evening we enjoyed the wonderful scenery and sunset in the garden while barbecuing and eating. It couldn't be more perfect! We will be happy to come back :)

Holiday home Eden game room hiking Thuringian forest

The vacation home is very quietly located on the edge of a village and is an ideal starting point for hikes in the area. You can hike directly from the house into the mountains. By car, many other interesting destinations in southern Thuringia and northern Franconia are also within easy reach. There is a supermarket and butcher in the village, while discounters and large supermarkets are a few minutes away by car. The house is a typical Thuringian forest house with small rooms and steep wooden stairs, freshly renovated and very well equipped. The largest room is a playroom with lots of toys for the kids. Communication with the host works very well, Marcus responds very quickly and tries to meet all requests. We enjoyed it very much. If we are in the area again, we will book the place again.

The apartment was very clean and has a beautiful view. We enjoyed the sunset on the balcony very much. The forest next door invited you to take an evening walk. The kitchen had everything we needed. The beds were already made for the four of us. Everything is perfect for a night passing through!

My apartment was just great for an extended stay. Very clean and modern. Location is excellent. Easy walk to train station and downtown. Public transport is just a few blocks away. Many good restaurants and grocery stores nearby. You can prep your own meals in the kitchen. On site breakfast is a good way to start the day. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Room was quiet. I definitely plan to stay here again.

Oliver was just perfect as a host and very, very flexible. This made the stay in Bad Kissingen very relaxing. Oliver answered questions immediately and gave great tips. The Soccer Halle is about 20 minutes from the city center and 15 minutes from the Luipoldtpark. The Park is simply gorgeous. Thank you for everything.

I was there with my daughter (4 years old). There were 2 dolls and a big panda, so there was a lot of spontaneous playing possible. The bathroom was also great. And Max let me charge my e-car with him, which was totally helpful. Very helpful. Everything we needed was in the apartment. Highly recommended. Lots of light and everything looks very open and friendly. Accommodation is definitely worth 5 stars.

A nice house in the middle of the greenery! We rented the lower part of the house. The cottage contains everything someone needs, is spacious and clean. The kitchen is very extensive, from toaster to a food processor. The owner is very attentive, communicative and made for a warm welcome with nice surprises. We enjoyed that! We followed the tips on what to do in the area and that was very nice. Extra recommended is to go to Rothenburg ob der Tauer (+- 50 min drive). The home is located in a quiet area with trees. Every now and then, a squirrel comes to visit. We used the baby cot. Our baby (3 months old) was able to sleep well in it (maybe unnecessary to mention, but of course bring your own sleeping bag/bedding). Games (Rummikub, 4 in a row) are provided in the house. Also great: we went by electric car and were able to charge in the garage.

A compact bathroom features white tiled walls and a sink fitted with toiletries. A white toilet is positioned next to a small waste bin. A bath mat lies on the tiled floor, and a shower curtain with a nautical design is partially visible in the corner.

Spacious, quiet apartment in the middle of the beautiful nature of the Thuringian Forest. Several hiking trails start in front of the door. Sunny southern slope location. The small garden and the possibilities to linger on site very pleasant. The apartment was clean and equipped with everything necessary. In the foyer there is extensive information about activities of all kinds. The contact with our hosts was pleasant and straightforward. The request for an earlier check in was answered positively. This was my second time staying at Pascal’s wonderful home, and honestly, everything was even better than before. If I had to write a review about my experience, I wouldn’t even know where to start—because it truly felt like coming home. Pascal was just as kind, just as attentive, and made sure I had everything I needed, just like last time. It’s not just about the stay itself; even between my visits, Pascal kept in touch, checking in on me whenever we had the chance. It really feels like I have family in Nuremberg now. To anyone reading this, I have to be honest—if you're simply looking for a good room, there are plenty of options in Nuremberg. But if you’re looking for a great room plus someone who genuinely cares about you like a close friend or family member, this is truly the one and only best choice. That being said, please forgive my selfishness—I don’t want too many people discovering Pascal’s amazing home! If everyone falls in love with it, I might have trouble to book it lol

As special as the accommodation rooms are, so special is the whole house and the hosts.
