Great location, almost exactly in the center of old town. Nights were quiet. Room matched the photo and description and was uniquely decorated. Hosts were friendly and greeted me at the check-in. Doors are a bit squeaky or loud, otherwise everything was ok.

The house is right on the lake in a quiet location, perfect for two people to ride a bike or boat and relax. Several restaurants are within walking distance. Everything is perfect, even in the house. This is even bigger than it looks in the photos, especially the bedroom.

The apartment is a dream. Everything Felix described is right, and nature in Alvern is wonderful. Excellent communication, great ambiance and a great host will definitely let our family be back. Uneing restricted 😉👍🏻 Thank you for everything!

this place is gorgeous! it is absolutely private, in the middle of lots of greenery, spacious, comfortable and with all we needed. the hosts were flexible, nice, supportive and helped us with all commodities for our toddler and our stay in general. absolutely recommendable!!!

I stayed with my wife for a week in April with Joachim, we liked the peace,the walnut cabin is a beautiful furnished house, everything was easily accessible, great area. Joachim also gave us many recommendations,which we also visited. We enjoyed being there, we will definitely book it again on the next Harz vacation. We recommend this place with Joachim. We loved our stay at Philip & Isabel’s place. The family is incredibly hospitable and kind. They share everything with their guests: from the garden to bbq stuff and bikes and lots of usefull tips for vistiting Hannover (great city!). Also their kids are very sweet and allready capable of sharing toys and the playground. German/Duth was no obstacle for the kids to play with eachother, fantastic! The house were we stayed was very clean and stayed nicely cool. I think we might come back next year!

Nice, relaxed, helpful hosts have created a cozy place of tranquility with a lot of initiative. The garden invites you to linger with various beautiful seating areas and both nature and "the city" are easily accessible.

Small but nice. Sandra's little kingdom was decorated with love. We felt very comfortable. I thought the bed was wonderful. We stayed with baby. Everything worked out perfectly. Sandra responds quickly to messages and the vibe was great. We will be back. Thank you, dear Sandra.

A great place, very cozy! :) There was even coffee and a wide selection of tea available as well as games for the kids. However, the apartment is not quite as suitable for small children, as the furnishings are not child-friendly (cleaning agents, glasses, knives and lighter at child height and leaning, large mirror). Too bad we couldn't use the outdoor area because of rain, which looked so inviting. It would be nice if you could also darken the living room, because there is also a sleeping area there. The booking and communication with the host went smoothly. Overall a nice place in a central location, which I can definitely recommend.

Brigitte was a super lovely hostess. The place is really special. Super quiet location and something to recharge the batteries in nature. We will definitely return.

Very nice host, super easy to reach in case of problems and helps quickly. Nice place to stay, same as the photos. Great area near a wildlife reserve, you can get to all the sights very quickly.

We stayed at Alexander’s place for 4 nights. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Alexander was friendly and helpful with his communication. It’s an amazing location for cycling around the lake and the woodlands. Would recommend to others and gladly visit again if in the area.

We stayed in the "Bude 2" in the neighborhood. The 8 apartments in the building are operated as Airbnb by the hotel, the photos correspond to AN apartment there, ours looked different, but was furnished in the same style, modern and cozy. We didn't have a beautiful view, but quiet. We were satisfied. If you are looking for an individual accommodation with charm and character, this is the wrong place. It's like a hotel room with less service, but you can also use some amenities of the hotel, a plus. For us as visitors to the annual Medieval Festival, the location was crucial, which is perfect, you can get directly from the courtyard into the pedestrian/shopping zone of the old town. The staff were very friendly and accommodated us with regard to late check-in and check-out. We would stay there again.

The country house apartment was just great! The apartment is very chicly furnished. It's easy to feel right at home. We particularly enjoyed the terrace. It was just wonderful to have breakfast there. Gesa and Heiko are very friendly hosts who also proactively ask if everything is great or if something bothers you. When we had an issue, Gesa and helped very quickly and easily, which we liked very much - thank you again! We would check in again without hesitation!

The cottage is really cute!!! It is beautifully and practically furnished, super clean and brand new! The hosts are totally helpful and nice and were always available for questions! If we return to Detmold, we would book it again immediately!
