Monthly Rentals in Gulf Islands

This place was an absolute dream! We didn't know what a magical visit we were in for when we booked. The cabin is at the end of a very quiet road next to loads of hiking that take you directly to the water. We spent a few days adventuring on Galiano (Mount Galiano, the Tapovan trail, beaches, etc.) and the rest of the time doing a self-guided meditation retreat at the house. It was the perfect (!!) location for a retreat, down to the "meditation hut" a few steps from the main house. We loved how quiet the forest was and how down-to-earth and easy the house is. We definitely hope to come back! Favorites: Oxeye cafe, Galiano Books, seeing a seal pup on the rocks!, meals on the BnB deck, DELISH fresh fish from the Saturday Market, Daystar Market, Mount Galiano, the swimming coves that you can find if you take nearby trail to the shore, turn left, and walk about a mile or so. Good FYIs: the sandstone is very slippery when wet! Bring cash so you can dispose of your trash on Fri/Sat.

Great location close to shopping and the ferry terminal. Quiet, peaceful, clean, and well thought out place. Had everything we needed for a getaway.

We really enjoyed our stay at Bellwood Cottage. The view from the front windows and deck are stunning. The grounds are very peaceful and private. The house manual was best we’ve seen. Comprehensive and professional but friendly. There are clear instructions provided for every amenity. The home is well equipped with good quality furnishings and kitchen utensils (stainless steel cookware and sharp knives - super bonus). Yashar and Christine do a really nice job of providing extra touches, even checking in to make sure we had all we needed. They were both very friendly. Love to come back.

We had such a lovely stay at Eileen and Glenn’s place! They were incredibly responsive and kind, even waiting for us to arrive in the dark to make sure we got settled in comfortably. From the start, they provided clear instructions and thoughtful local recommendations for food, coffee, and places to visit. One of the highlights for us was that they warmly welcomed our dog—plus, the hot tub surrounded by greenery was such a relaxing treat! It was the perfect little getaway. Highly recommend this stay to anyone looking for a peaceful, pet-friendly retreat!
