Vacation rentals with a kayak in Guatemala

Nos ha gustado mucho este lugar, y al mismo tiempo es económico. se puede llegar a los lugares turisticos desde allí. Además el Tour que realizamos con Juan hacia el volcan de San pedro lo recomendamos al 100% !!!

We had a little family vacation here and it was everything is was advertised to be and more! The staff are all very helpful and responsive. Salvador the property manager was incredible! From keeping the pool clean between our times in to doing grocery runs into the city, he was amazing. All the activities listed were so fun and very family friendly! The rooms were all very clean and there was even bug spray to help with the incests outside. All the local contacts for boat and tour services were also incredibly sweet. Very considerate, accommodating and for a friendly price! Overall, we would definitely consider coming back should we ever want to visit Atitlan and the surrounding towns.

Es un lugar increíblemente hermoso, con una vista espectacular al lago. La casa permite disfrutar con la familia en un espacio que tiene todas las comodidades para pasar muy bien. Definitivamente volveríamos a hospedarnos en este precioso lugar.

This place is a DREAM. The views are amazing. The outdoor shower/tub is so nice and very private. The access to the lake was great. Erika was super friendly and attentive. They let us check in a little early upon request since I was very sick and needed rest. I would caution there's a lot of stairs to get to the cabin and around the property. It was a little difficult finding where the entrance to the property was but once we reached out to Erika, she sent someone to look for us and help with our bags. The temescal is awesome and a must. Would definitely return!

This is a perfect place for several families (or a very big one) to spread out and enjoy each other’s company — enough space to relax and roam. The kitchen was great for cooking and well equipped. The large porch and large pool were great for fun, card games, spreading out. The grounds/ garden is ample for kids to run around, and the lake paddle boards make enjoying the lake easy. Rooms are spread out and clean, everything works for a change! Nice, new bathrooms and amenities. The cabin is cute and quiet for someone wanting space from the main house. Eduardo is very responsive and having Susy clean and help out made this a perfect weekend—we truly relaxed and celebrated. One of our favorites so far—-not too far from town. We hope to return! Un hermoso lugar para poder disfrutar en familia, con amigos. Muy recomendado. Todo muy organizado, en un buen lugar, la casa como se muestra en la fotos, y Maria una excelente anfitriona.

La mejor experiencia de hospedaje frente al agua disponible en Lago Atitlán. El diseño y amueblado de la casa son exquisitos. Nos atendió personal muy amable y atento en el lugar. Ana Regina siempre estuvo pendiente de nosotros.

Nos quedamos con nuestras dos niñas (5 y 2 años) el lugar muy apto para ellas, estuvimos muy cómodos, las camas y sábanas muy cómodas. Mucha naturaleza, nos encantó la opción de piscina, y jacuzzi con vista al lago. Vimos el atardecer en un kayak, logramos hacer el tour de birdwathching y logramos ver el Quetzal, también tomamos tuc tuc al pueblo y tomamos tour en lancha alrededor del lago. Nos la pasamos muy bien! Nos brindaron toallas para piscina y aparte para bañarse! Si quieres cocinar, lleva aceite, sal, azúcar. Del restaurante la Posada nos encantaron las quesadillas y el sandwich de lomito!

Un lugar muy agradable, ideal para descansar en familia y disfrutar del uno de los lagos más bellos. La atención muy buena, amables, atentos. Cerca del pueblo, le jacuzzi se puede disfrutar a toda hora. Definitivamente volvería a hospedarme allí.

Where do we begin? Juan Carlos' home in Cerro de Oro is magical. It's situated in a bay right on Lake Atitlan with incredible views every single day. It might honestly be the nicest place we've ever stayed in - all around exceptional. The house is two stories, living room & kitchen upstairs & beds downstairs. The grounds are spectacular - this family really thought of everything. They have a 2-person kayak which we took out every morning as well as a couple of paddle boards. There are 2 hammocks under the trees which we definitely relaxed in and then there's the hot tub. Oh, the hot tub. Words cannot describe the magic of this tub. It takes 2-3 hours to heat up so make sure to tell Tiburcio ahead of time and he'll get it all ready to go. We also spent the extra money and had Marina cook us all of our meals (for approx $10/day - it's coffee money) which helped us completely relax. The staff team were all wonderful and treated us like royalty including dogs Rocco & Negra!

Celebramos el cumpleaños de mi esposo y la verdad es que sentimos como estuviéramos en una burbuja muy cerca de la ciudad. La vista hacia los volcanes y el lago increíble. Y el Jacuzzi y cada uno de los detalles de la casa impecables. Lo recomiendo.

Very nice place, well kept, attention to all details, everything we needed was there, pans, pots, cutlery, toaster, microwave, washer/dryer, soap, iron, etc baths where spotless, house inside/outside well maintained and kept, gardens,walkways, is a beautiful property, the walk to the pier is nice and relaxing, they provided us with Kayaks and life vest. Cesar was very helpfully. I would recommend this pkace 100%

My friend and I had a lovely few day stay in Becca's place. It was nice to have our own little part of Santiago - lovely views of the lake and nearby volcano, a great restaurant on the premises, and of course, the cabin itself was well appointed. There was lots of purified water, a great kitchen with fridge and comfortable bedding. We would highly recommend this place for anyone wanting a special stay while visiting Santiago, and Lago Atitlan..

La hacienda es muy linda, la zona es tranquila, los vecinos son muy amables, hay unas tiendas a la par que tienen lo básico lo básico o puedes ir en carro a 15min hay otras. Hay que llevar todo lo esencial de higiene personal, para hacer limpieza (jabón para trastes, detergente, y demás). Pero no cabe duda que la pasarás bien con tu familia o amigos =)

Casa Jucanya is a lovely space located on a larger property with multiple villas and a chalet structure. It is right across from the lake, and you can see the lake from the kitchen and living area windows. There is a nice swimming area nearby. However it is not as close to the main walking area in Panajachel. There is a river that splits Panajachel into two areas, and this is on the other side of the river. It is about a 10-20 minute walk during daylight, but the path is not lit at night and the path may also not be there at night. Anyway, a tuk tuk taxi ride is about 10 Quetzales one way. This was not an issue for us because we had rented a car. We were also traveling with my mom and our son, so this was more of a family vacation and we didn’t care to be as close to the main walking and shopping area. El alojamiento es tal y como se describe. Comido, seguro, limpio, con estacionamiento, comunicación fluida con el personal. El lugar es lindo y hay restaurantes en la zona, también se puede cocinar en la cabaña hay todo lo necesario. Importante que el lapso final al destino es terracería y un carro pequeño y bajo quizás pueda tener inconvenientes, especialmente en estación lluviosa.

This is our second stay at The Artist's Loft and it was just as peaceful as the first time in 2017. The view is breathtaking and I feel the best view of Lake Atitlan. The house is spacious, sunny and airy. I enjoyed the firm bed. The staff, Dorca, Milka and Nathanael were helpful and responsive. We enjoyed reading on the deck and had almost all our meals there. I became friends with the parrot Victoria and became attached to her. Everytime I saw her she made me laugh. We very much enjoyed our stay.

We are a family of 4 (1 currently living in Guatemala) and we absolutely loved this home. Note that it is a family home passed down through generations and is a bit rustic, and requires visitors to be mindful. Some features such as the windows need to be treated with care. The grounds are extraordinary and walkable. The guardian Juan José was available to help if we needed anything including shopping for our BBQ. He lit an outdoor fire and we relaxed under the stars. We made use of paddle boards and kyack. I can't say enough about how helpful Joaquin was before during and after our stay. Thank you thank you

What a magical stay at Ricardo’s cabanas. Ricardo and his son David are both just purely amazing people. Ricardo has constructed everything with such great intention and detail and it’s continuing to grow. They’ve treated me just like family and everything was excellent quality. Pillows, sheets, blankets all so comfortable and well made and the shower is HOT. Tzunana is a quaint area with little restaurants and nightlife but exactly what I was looking for. I will return and I know I have friends for life with them.

Pasamos unos días muy agradables en la casa, la cocina está muy bien equipada. Todo Justo como aparece en las fotografías. Las habitaciones con litera son un poco estrechas y falta ventilación. La piscina climatizada la disfrutamos mucho. Pensar en llevar todo lo necesario ya que el supermercado está alejado y solo hay tiendas en los alrededores y no están tan próximos.

This property is gorgeous, we loved staying here tucked away from the tourist buzz on Flores. We spent a whole day swimming, lounging in hammocks and reading on the dock. Esvin was the keeper of the property and so quick to respond when we needed to ferry to the island or back to the house. Highly recommend staying here for a unique and peaceful stay. Thank you Mildred and Esvin for everything!
