Vacation rentals with outdoor seating in Guadalupe County

The house is super cute. It was very comfortable. The neighborhood is very quiet. Everything was very clean. It was fun to step back in time.

Great place to stay. Kayaking and paddle boarding for the kids. Fireplace and toys. Ping pong table and toys for babies. Would stay again.

Place was clean, accurate on description all in all we were comfortable and we all slept well.. would definitely reserve again if we come back to the area..

This was an excellent property to stay at with friends! It has pretty much everything you would need for a fun evening at home, and there are a lot of fun things to do in the area. Host was super helpful and was immediately available for assistance when needed.

Terrell’s place was wonderful and exactly as described!!! Check-in was simple. The place was very well put together. Loved the kitchen and even made a full meal here, plenty of cooking equipment here! Pots, pans, utensils, etc. Terrell was very responsive and helpful during check in and checkout. Eggs were even left in the kitchen for us from some of the chickens on site! Great hospitality, great clean space. Would stay again and would definitely recommend!

A beautiful stay. We felt at home! Not far from the Comal and Guadalupe River, but far enough to have a peaceful stay. Gennaro’s is near by and it’s a great Italian restaurant. The view on the patio of the sunset was amazing. Kitchen was great. We cooked a lot there during our stay. Only side note I would add is, the driveway is very steep. If you have a low clearance vehicle, go at an angle. My Toyota Land Cruiser bike rack would bottom out. Steep driveway makes sense though because the house is on a hill. You do have some steps to get to the house, but all is listed and shown in their listing. Thank you for being wonderful host. Excellent communication, instructions, and offer great recommendations.

We will return to this colorful, happy place! Great balcony and pool. This is totally walkable to some outstanding restaurants and bars. The beds were outstanding and one of the coolest bathrooms ever! The chocolates were a great after dinner snack. Love it!

The apartment was just as pictured in the pictures and clean. We enjoyed being able to drive over to Gruene - 2 minutes. The complex was quiet and new. We had no issues with our stay and communication with Gregory was super quick if I had any questions. We would stay again!

Brandy was by far the most accommodating host we have had on Airbnb. We were welcomed with a basket of candies and Dunkin coffee. not anything extravagant, but a very nice gesture that set the mood of our visit in a positive way. anything you need is there from seasonings, appliances, dishes, pans, utensils, extra towels, tubes for the river. everything you'd and many you won't need, but someone staying in the future will. Any communication with Brandy was given an immediate response. We love The Water Wheel resort, but Brandy's hospitality brought this trip to a new level. Thanks Brandy

Had a great 3 night stay at Jay’s property. The property was exactly as the description suggested and was a great place to base ourselves for Gruene and surrounding areas. Jay was very responsive and proactive in his messages/advice. Property was spotlessly clean when we arrived and we had a lovely gift on arrival due to us celebrating our wedding anniversary. A nice touch. Would definitely recommend for future guests and would stay again.

Highly recommend. Peaceful and serene. Beautiful space. Loved the front porch with rockers and a table and chairs. High ceilings, nice interior and very comfortable beds. Loved the friendly cats. We initially planned for one month but ended up staying three months because of delays and issues in selling our house in Washington and buying our new home in Texas. The ease in lengthening our stay in a comfortable and enjoyable fully furnished apartment was a blessing as we brought little with us while most of our belongings were in storage. And Patricia was immediately responsive to any concerns or questions. We had a great time and the apartment was very conveniently located but secluded. I am a birder and was able to walk to Fischer Park to see beautiful birds and deer!

Very welcoming!! Had a great quick weekend stay! Even had fresh baked cookies for us on our arrival which is always a nice touch in my opinion!!

We enjoyed Shelton’s place so much! Location was absolutely perfect! The newly renovated space was clean, cozy and spacious!! We will definitely book this condo when we go back to the river. We enjoyed breakfast on the balcony, the fully stocked kitchen and everyone getting their own bed! A quick drive around the corner took us to all the restaurants and shopping! We will be back soon!

This is our second time staying at Matt & Nikki’s place and we enjoyed it almost just as much as the first time. The condo itself is so nice and Matt & Nikki do a great job adding a lot of aesthetic touches and conveniences that make us feel right at home. Also, with easy access to the water park, the river, pools, and great restaurants, the location makes this a perfect vacation spot. I do have to mention that our vehicle was towed to San Marcos during our stay, which was unfortunate… we put the parking permit away when we went out to dinner on our last evening and forgot to put it back up when we got back the condo. When we woke up in the morning, our vehicle was gone. However, Matt was very responsive (on a Sunday) and accommodating in giving us extra time on checkout day and helping me find the information to get it sorted out. Don’t let that scare you away though. All that is just to say, take Matt & Nikki’s warnings about keeping the parking pass visible at all times seriously!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was spotless and well stocked with anything we might need. The location was great. We would definitely stay again!

This location is by far one of the best locations to be. You are in the heart of Gruene and less than a 5 min walk to get to any shop, bar, restaurant, floating venues and much more. Perfect host! She was super responsive, friendly and the instructions were easy to follow on check out. Amazing place!! Can't say enough about it.
