Guesthouse vacation rentals in Gold Country

This was our second time staying at Marty and Jess’s place, and once again, it’s an easy 5 stars! They’re wonderful hosts—kind, responsive, and always making sure we feel completely at home. The apartment is just the right size for my boyfriend and me, cozy and comfortable, and also a peaceful spot to work remotely. We especially love their beautiful garden and the quiet, walkable neighborhood. Already looking forward to our next visit!

The lodging is in the back, in a garden and near the swimming pool and tennis court. The backdrop is beautiful, and the host and hostess were friendly and accommodating. There is privacy and the area offers much in terms of restaurants and shopping. The internet is broadband, so one can work in the lodging. Amy and Lou are wonderful people----worthy of friendship in any circumstance.

We had a great time at Corinna’s! Very quiet, private, and had exactly what we needed. We loved sitting outside in the backyard with the fire pit. Corinna was kind enough to leave us a bottle of wine, too! I had a really lovely time there and would definitely recommend this place and host.

Barbara and her Backyard Beach House were wonderful. Best stocked Air B & B we've ever stayed at. Clean, comfortable, and relaxing. Especially convenient for us because we were visiting family a mile away. We'll definitely stay again. Thanks!

From start to finish we felt very welcome. The house was exceptionally clean and very creative, with everything we needed. The huge yard was fabulous, even out of season. Olga is a very experienced and dedicated host, and she continually looks for ways to please her guests. We were in town to visit family and Olga's place delighted everyone from our 1 year old (great toys! chickens!) to 64 years (bicycling fun and meals in the garden).

We really enjoyed our stay at the cottage. The backyard is peaceful and the grounds are really beautifully maintained. Cottage has everything you need, my girlfriend described it as “adorable”. Water pressure in the shower is eh but no issues with hot water. The snacks left were very thoughtful and much appreciated. Would stay here again.

I need to watch TV from the bed which is perfectly set-up at the lovely cottage. I really enjoy the Keurig Coffee which is a piece of cake to make. The neighborhood is beautiful and peaceful.

Great hosts! Beautiful space that was clean, cozy, and made me feel right at home. Tremendously tidy and lovely neighborhood if you want to go for a walk, run, or just enjoy the wonderful California weather. Highly recommend.

This is hands down the best AirBnb we have ever stayed in! Stacey's place was incredibly peaceful. The yard has a lush garden, cozy fire pit, plush patio chairs, and adorable yard decor. The location of this space is tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the country, but you are less than 10 minutes to downtown Auburn! The space is exceptionally clean, has a thoughtful layout, is so stylish and free of clutter. The kitchen is stocked with everything you need! The couch and bed are so cozy! We LOVED our stay here. Stacey is an amazing host too - she left us a fresh loaf of homemade bread, fresh cut roses, and a hand written card for us when we checked in. Stacey definitely pays attention to all the little details of what makes this place exceptional. We cannot wait to come back and stay again!

Great place to stay. So close to Main Street placerville. Easy to walk there. Right on the ElDorado trail. Nice trail to bike, walk, or run on. Place is cozy and quiet and was well decorated with everything we needed for our stay. The price is great. Would definitely visit again or recommend to friends.

This place was spotless, and was a nice, private unit with a view of their beautiful garden. Instructions that were given were very detailed and easy to follow, and even had videos where applicable that were helpful. The area is quiet and peaceful, but still very convenient for getting around in San Jose.

I had a great time. I found the location easily when i followed the instructions! Michelle is very easy going and great to chat with. Since i stayed a considerable amount of time there, i got to know Michelle quite well. My border collie, Poe also settled in quickly and found his spots for relaxing in the shade. Glaicy and Isaac’s place was awesome! Firstly, it is so cute- just like the photos. We felt right at home and really enjoyed the space. We had a car but they are located in a great area with lots of food options near by in a safe and peaceful part of town. They are amazing hosts as well. Prior to check in there was a slight issue with the fridge and they were very proactive in communicating with us and resolving it! Could not have asked for a better experience!! We will definitely choose this spot again next time we are in Reno.

My grandpa and grandma stayed here and they said this was the best bead and breakfast they have experienced in their life. huge thanks to Silvia for being responsive and making my grandparents feel at home!

The place is truly amazing with a lot of attention to detail. The cherry on the cake was seeing some nice wild animals circling around the house which made our daughter quite happy.

We were really happy with the guesthouse, we had everything we needed, full kitchen, large and comfortable bathroom, comfortable bed, 2 TVs, private entrance, private patio with furniture. The location was very convenient for us, the area was safe and close to shops and restaurants. I highly recommend this place, we would stay there again.
