Monthly Rentals in Gateshead

Great Airbnb, very clean, with good facilities, very comfortable, perfect for two, with the benefit of secure parking behind electric gates. We used it to visit our son and girlfriend in Newcastle over a weekend. Our hosts were fantastic with communication, giving great directions and always responding promptly to our messages. A welcome gift of food essentials was waiting for us on arrival (bread milk eggs etc), which was a lovely touch. Located outside Newcastle, this was ideal for us and a short Uber trip into the city was less than £8, far better than the hassle of driving and paying for parking. Additionally, Low Fell had plenty of places for eating and drinking and was only a 10 minute walk from the accommodation. Will definitely use this Airbnb in the future if visiting Newcastle. Good location. just a 15 min walk from Jesmond Metro and a short walk on the River Tyne where you are spoilt for choice on eating and drinking establishments

It was exactly what we were looking for! The homely, "lived in" feeling was fantastic, and all of the ornaments (I now also want a "Das Kapital" money box), the books, the trinkets , the pictures and the everything else in the flat gave it such a vibrant, quirky and adorable atmosphere. Staying there was great, with quiet surroundings and neighbours, and supermarkets just a short walk or bus ride away made it the perfect little "home away from home". Beth is an absolutely wonderful host who we were able to talk to regularly before we booked and gave us clear information about house rules and everything else. I highly recommend this flat if you want to immerse yourself in a cozy little place with all sorts of interesting things inside.

No problems internally, flat was as expected, hosts were great, really good communication and very attentive. The accommodation is really let down by the communal areas, which are not well kept.
