This was a good find, very convenient for working in the city centre, easily walkable and comfortable for a longer stay. Vee was very communicative, responding within a few minutes and solving the small issue with a broken bed panel very quickly. Will definitely book this place again to host colleagues in Newcastle.

The property was great for our short break, and we found it clean and tidy; the self check in was straightforward with clear instructions given by the host. Vicky was a really friendly, responsive and attentive host throughout our stay. Peaceful surroundings and a good location for the beach and local amenities.

We have stayed at a couple of properties through Ryan, always a simple process, great communication and good properties. Very happy with our stay and would highly recommend.

This is my second time at The Retreat in 2 weeks and we will definitely be back. Fantastic lodge, very clean and tidy. Lots of little nibbles as gifts from host which my daughter and niece loved. This stay went to the pool and sauna which was fantastic, free coffee, tea and biscuits when you come out which is a lovely little touch. Thank you for a fantastic stay xx

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The Shepards hut was so cosy with fantastic amenities, spotlessly clean and well maintained. Spa was fabulous. Overall such a relaxing and luxurious break.

I was working nights and needed a place that was quiet and near my location of work. I had to change the days at the last minute and Terry was obliging and understanding. Had a brief chat with the neighbours who were also friendly.

We had an incredible experience staying at Billy's property! From the moment we arrived, Billy was an outstanding host, making sure everything was perfectly in place and ready for our arrival. The house was spacious and easily accommodated all 6 of us with plenty of room to spare. One of the highlights of our stay was being greeted with freshly baked blueberry muffins – a thoughtful and delicious touch that made us feel right at home. The house had all the amenities we needed, making it feel just like our own home. We particularly enjoyed the private access to the property and the hot tub, which was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring. Myself, partner and granddaughter had a fab time at Helen’s caravan. It was absolutely spotless, exactly how described. The park itself is lovely , so peaceful and quiet with a nice little club house, everyone was so friendly. It’s a small park which I felt was better, only a sprinkling of people. More rabbits than people which we all enjoyed sitting watching from the decked area. It’s situated in a lovely area too, close to many places to visit; we went to derwent reservoir Allensford and Blanchland Helen is so helpful and responsive with messages to my queries. We will definitely be back Thank you so much
