We loved the place but, there were a few things that could have been better. We didn’t receive the entry instructions until 30 minutes prior to our arrival. It was a little scary driving several hours without being sure that we were going to be able to get into the cabin. Communion with Teya was quick but I provided a photo of my ID several times and was still sent emails saying that I hadn’t done it yet. Teya apologized for not seeing it and was very pleasant but it was still extra work and time that I didn’t have. The cabin was beautiful and clean but there were definitely some missed opportunities for welcoming their guests. They’re very strict with check in and out times which I respect but for the money I would have thought there would have been some sort of Tupperware or even aluminum foil in the kitchen and that I wouldn’t have to strip all the beds before checkout. I would definitely here again. The cabin and the area are beautiful.

This is your classic storybook farmhouse in a fantastic setting with beautiful scenery, surroundings and lovely appointments throughout the interior. Everything has been well thought out and you will want for nothing except another stay at this amazing place.

We were truly blessed with this booking . Alla is a fantastic host , kind and helpful and generous . The home is exactly as described and in a beautiful peaceful location . The sun rises over the mountains at dawn and the cabin is perfectly built to capture it . The space within is modern , comfortable and spacious . I would recommend anyone to book who enjoys nature and values the privacy of a modern mountain lodge .

Sree’s home was warm, welcoming, and clean. It was so quaint and peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked with essentials which was very convenient. The big dining table was perfect for us to gather around to eat, drink wine, and play cards. The beds were comfy and we all felt cozy and safe! I’d recommend coming to this gem to take in the views, relax, and unwind!

Exactly as described. Definitely rustic themed but very clean. Bed was very comfortable and dressed with soft linens. Perfect for my one night stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The property and surroundings are beautiful, the cabin was rustic but with many modern conveniences, and was exceptionally clean. Linda was a particularly gracious hostess. Little touches like the wood-burning stove and the communal kitchen in the main house really elevated the experience. This is a great area with wineries, Apple Hill farms, and historic Placerville, but is also good for just getting away and relaxing. This property is a perfect central location for visits to the area. We will definitely plan on returning, next time for a longer stay.

We had a beautiful stay at Fredy’s house. We were so pleased that we added another night. Fredy was quick to respond to my request for the extra night stay. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our food each day. It felt like a home away from home. I would recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay about an hour drive to the snow in the winter.

We had an amazing experience at the cabin. The views were breath taking and it truly made for a relaxing weekend. It was very kid friendly and there was so much to do related to being outdoors. The hosts were very accommodating. I highly recommend this place and will definitely be back.
