The Starlight Motor Inn is a historic mid-century motel in the heart of N. Charleston, SC! Family run since 1961, The Starlight was conceived as an affordable and accessible destination. In 2022 the property was lovingly restored & reimagined as a 51 room oasis conveniently located on Rivers Avenue just minutes from downtown Charleston. The property is complete with a large outdoor swimming pool, & a full service bar called The Burgundy Lounge with nightly live entertainment + event spaces.

1,200 square foot Flat - Jasmine House

The Proprietor's Flat in the Main House has one, king-size bed and private bath with a tub/shower combination. Tastefully decorated with 18th century furniture, the private and luxurious flat also boasts a separate living room, dining room and kitchen in addition to beautiful hardwood floors. Amenities include hair dryer, iron/board, television, refrigerator, safe and high-speed internet access. These living quarters are the largest in the Jasmine House, totaling 1,200 sq. ft.

The Brass Lady

The Brass lady is perfect for a single person or couple enjoying a quick get away to Folly. With a full size brass bed and large shower, the comfy space has everything you need. Enjoy relaxing on the private porch with a private entrance after a day of surfing or relaxing on the beach. Continental breakfast is offered daily in the shared kitchen and dining area. While street parking in front is available it is not guaranteed. Free parking is generally found close by.

MAGNOLIA room at Pinckney

Welcome the MAGNOLIA room. This historic INN boasts 5 charming rooms with exterior access at the heart of the market and stables. You will enjoy a King bed, private bath, wifi, TV, a Fireplace in cooler months, mini fridge, and complimentary snacks, pastries and beverages. MAGNOLIA is located on the first floor with access off the main piazza. PARKING: there are multiple convenient parking lots 1-2 blocks away, ranging from $20-$30 per night.

The King Suite room with a Balcony is a one bedroom apartment with a living room and kitchenette, separate bedroom with a King size bed, and a full bathroom. This room is on the second floor. Dog friendly with a one-time fee of $125 per dog. Fee is added once your reservation is confirmed. PLEASE NOTE THE LOCATION OF THIS ROOM IS ON THE 2ND FLOOR AND IS IN THE MIX OF COMMERCIAL CENTER STREET ACTIVITY, YOU WILL HEAR THE NOISE

Room 22- The Torpedo. This 2nd floor guest room has a private entry, a king bed, mini fridge, microwave, free WIFI, & smart TV for 2 guests. The bathroom is outfitted w/ a tub & shower. Swim in the largest pool on Folly Beach! 1 block from beach access. Great romantic escape! Must be 21 to book. 1 parking pass provided. NO smoking. 1 dog allowed w/ additional $125 + tax fee. Pool will be closed from Sept 3-8, 2024.
