Liebe Shirley, liebe Merve, lieber Ozkan, Wir hatten eine wunderbare Zeit in diesem fantastisch renovierten Haus. Alles war sehr hochwertig mit moderner, technischer Ausrüstung und klassischen Möbeln, alles, was man brauchte, war vorhanden, aber es war, als wenn man in einer anderen Zeit wohnen würde. Mitten im schönsten Teil von Balat, wo die bunten Häuser stehen. Nach einem anstrengenden Tag in der Menge von Istanbul, war es immer wie eine Zuflucht, in der man sich gemütlich und sicher zurücklehnen konnte. Vielen Dank für dieses wunderbare Angebot in Istanbul wohnen zu können. Wir können es uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen und freuen uns wiederzukommen. Meinolf und Ulrike

Gia a vedersi sembrava perfetta, ma nella realtà lo è stato ancora di più, ha decisamente superato le nostre aspettative!La casa è stupenda, grande, pulitissima, curata nei minimi dettagli. La cucina è dotata di ogni cosa che ti possa servire per sentirti come a casa e anche di più,il bagno è perfetto, doccia ottima, acqua calda senza problemi, camera da letto dotata di ogni confort, aria condizionata sia nel salone che nella camera da letto, lavatrice, stendino, asciugamani, saponi. Nel salone c’è una grande tv. Tutta la casa è super luminosa, è divisa su due piani. La zona circostante è molto tranquilla, un bel posto, sicuro e piacevole, c’è un centro commerciale vicinissimo con caffè, ristoranti, atm, supermercato, ogni cosa di cui potresti aver bisogno. C’è un piccolo spazio esterno confortevole. È facile trovare mezzi di trasporto e taxi. L’host è gentile e disponibile. Ti verrà voglia di vivere in questa casa, non perdere altro tempo, per noi sarà sempre nel nostro cuore. Grazie

Beautiful house. Really nicely done for comfort and quality. Really welcoming and very helpful host. The lounge is a little cosy for more than three people, but we (four) made it work well enough and there's plenty of space otherwise. Some lovely shops just down the road, very easy to pop out to buy breakfast etc. Just a few minutes walk from Tram 5, which goes to the Spice market. Very firm beds which we liked, lots of little extra touches, such as slippers, exfoliating pads, napkins, bottled water. Made it feel quite lux! Loved it - would definitely go back!

We had a really nice time in Riza’s and Onur’s house. It is next to so many cafes and the commute is very easy with tram and ferry stations within 5-minutes walk. We were a family of 8 and had enough space for everyone. The house is well-equipped and had everything we needed. It does have many stairs inside and particularly the ones to the top floor are quite steep, but the hosts were very forthcoming about it and made sure we knew about it before confirming the booking. The communication was great and any small technical issues were resolved quickly and efficiently. My daughter is into arts and she particularly enjoyed various pieces of art in the house. Great stay and many thanks to the hosts!

Unsere Reise und Aufenthalt in der Wohnung war ausgezeichnet. Die Wohnung war in einem Top sauberen und gepflegten Zustand, traumhafter, unvergesslicher und wunderschöner, vor allem abends/nachts, Ausblick von der Dachterrasse aus. Die 4 Etagen Treppen hoch, hat sich jedes Mal gelohnt. Die Wohnung liegt sehr ruhig und doch ist man eine Straße weiter mitten im Geschehen, tolle Lokale, sehr gutes Essen, vieles fußläufig erreichbar und abends bis zur späten Stunde tolle Musikbars. Einfach Klasse und empfehlenswert. Herr Dehan hat von der ersten Kontaktaufnahme bis zum Abschied seine authentische Gastfreundschaft, Hilfsbereitschaft und Unterstützung gezeigt und war uns gegenüber sehr entgegenkommend und sehr behilflich gewesen. Wir haben uns sehr wohl und bei Fragen sehr sicher gefühlt. Herzlichsten Dank dafür Herr Dehan. Wir hoffen, dass wir uns sehr bald wiedersehen können!! Viele Grüße Alper & Anna & Batu & Talu

We visited as a family with two small kids and had a fantastic 5-day stay. The neighborhood is vibrant, authentic, and full of heart, with great shops and restaurants to explore daily. The house was spacious — more than we needed, as we didn’t use the downstairs apartment — but very comfortable, especially for the kids. Getting around was easy with the Istanbulkart; tram line 5 and bus 55 are just a short walk away. We cooked a few times and found the kitchen workable (cooking with gas), though some utensils were a bit worn and basic items like salt and pepper would’ve been helpful. Still, these were minor things. We’d happily return to Balat and to Ömer’s house. To really enjoy it, I’d recommend staying at least 4–5 days.

The apartment is impeccable exactly as in the photos, it is spacious, well equipped with very good quality furniture and everything you need, in a very nice and well-kept building. The location is extraordinary, a few steps from restaurants and transportation. The staff is very friendly, with excellent communication and helpful, they even offered us transportation to the airport which is convenient and at a fair price. I highly recommend it.

Had a great couple of nights at Urban Quarters, it has a good locations and, being at the top of the apartment block, is above most of the noise and bustle of the town.

Very great houseing experience, even the price is affordable but the service is definitely super. Kadir is a kind and friendly host, he helped us moving the luggage both on our way of check-in and check-out, he even helped me translating while talking with the local taxi driver. The house is absolutely amazing, exactly the same according to the photos, nice and clean, and it’s great to taking pictures while suns out. Balat is also my fav district in Istanbul, almost all the rum churches in Istanbul are in walkable distance. And if u wanna visit downtown, the T5 tram train station is only 5 mins away from the door step, everything is convenient. I’m glad that we booked this gorgeous place, if we had chance coming back to Istanbul, this place would definitely be our first choice on the list.

I have nothing but amazing things to say about the place, the location and the host! She was very friendly and very accommodating to our check in and out times. The location is great, less than a 5 minute walk to Galata tower. Thank you for such a great stay!

Séjour parfait, l’appartement correspondait en tout point à la description et aux photos. L’appartement était très propre spacieux confortable et avec tous les équipements nécessaires pour passer un bon séjour. If you’re looking for the perfect Istanbul experience, this apartment is it. Just a 2-minute walk from Galata Tower, the location couldn’t be better. The apartment was spotless, cozy, and had that authentic Istanbul charm. What made our stay even better were the cute little coffee shops nearby . Don’t miss the hidden antique bookstore tucked into a side street nearby—it’s magical. And if you follow the alley behind the tower, you’ll find a tiny rooftop terrace bar with stunning views of the Bosphorus. Not many tourists know about it. We’ll definitely be back!

Great stay! Dullrich was a fast communicator, welcomed us warmly on arrival, and even registered our vehicle. The Sinpas Suite was clean, stylish, and very comfortable. Highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing stay! We traveled as a family and this apartment exceeded all our expectations. Super clean, beautifully decorated, and very comfortable – it truly felt like home. The location was perfect for exploring Istanbul, yet quiet and peaceful at night. The host was incredibly helpful, kind, and always quick to respond. We’re so happy we chose this place — it made our trip even more special. 100% recommend to anyone visiting Istanbul!

Awesome place with an amazing view. Walking distance from Fatih and from the ferry to Kadikoy. Prime spot to hit all major attractions in Istanbul. Would recommend!

Beautiful place as described, very clean. The terrace was our favorite with gorgeous views and beautiful plants. Climate control, washer and dryer and kitchen were useful for us. The home is up a hill, on a quiet street. Walked and used uber as needed to get around. Loved our stay and would come again.

The place is as described, clean. Internet is just fine to scroll and watch movies, so if you work remotely, you might need to visit cafes, which are in 200m range. Perfect communication from host. Place is 1km from Taksim, but you have to go thru a mountain.

Nos gustó su propiedad. Todo fue muy limpio y ordenado. Lisa y su personal fueron siempre muy atentos y amables. Me encantó la ubicación del hospedaje (son 15 minutos aproximadamente de la casa de Lisa hasta la estación “Tophane” de la T1). Sin duda un lugar muy lindo para disfrutar y conocer sus alrededores.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à Istanbul dans cet appartement situé à Beyoğlu, à deux pas de la tour de Galata. L'appartement est très propre, récemment rénové, calme, et parfaitement équipé. Il dispose d’une chambre séparée avec un matelas très confortable, idéal pour bien se reposer après une journée de visite. L’hôte, Ram ou Karim, est extrêmement disponible et attentionné. Ils savent vraiment accueillir : eau en bouteille en quantité, papier toilette, tout est prévu, rien ne manque. La localisation est exceptionnelle : à 2 minutes de l’avenue Istiklal, la plus commerçante d’Istanbul, avec de nombreuses bonnes affaires (bien moins chères qu’à Paris !), tout en étant à l’écart du bruit. À proximité immédiate aussi du tunnel pour rejoindre le pont de Galata, du tramway pour accéder à la vieille ville, et à quelques minutes de Şişli. C’est, sans aucun doute, l’un des meilleurs emplacements pour découvrir Istanbul. Je recommande vivement ! Brunet Jean Claude et Isabelle Mai 2

The place was very clean and updated. Right next to Galata tower so everything was in walking distance. Apartment is on the second floor but there is an elevator to get up so that is very helpful. The host Volkan is very responsive and gives great recommendations. He is very friendly and the best host making you feel right at home with the great amenities and providing everything you need

الشقه نظيفه ورائعه جدا والموقع ممتاز ولكن مو مكان حيوي ولكن اغلب الاماكن قريبه منكم بالسياره ، كل شي كان بيرفكت اقمنا فيها لمدة ٦ ايام كعائله جدا ممتازه فقط الشي السلبي لايوجد عوازل بالشقه وهي على الشارع العام اصوات السيارات مزعجه ولكن الشقه جميله وشرحه وكل شي متوفر فيها ادوات المطبخ غساله كوايه انصح فيها بشده 🤍 والدخول كان ٧ الصباح ودخلتنا متعاونه وودوده

Great place to stay if you want an authentic feel in a local neighbourhood which is walkable to main sights. The apartment itself is beautiful, very clean, and has a warm, welcoming feel. Benny was an exceptional host -thoughtful, responsive, and incredibly helpful. Before we arrived, I asked about doing some laundry and he kindly picked up washing powder for us without even being asked. The fridge was stocked with water, which was a lovely touch. The neighborhood, while a little run-down in parts, felt deeply local and gave us the rare opportunity to experience the real Istanbul, away from the busy tourist spots. It was peaceful and quiet during the day, yet just a short walk or quick taxi ride from the bustling markets, main attractions, and business districts. Benny’s local guide was a great read, full of interesting recommendations. We were able to walk to most places, and when needed, local taxis were easy to use—just make sure the driver turns on the meter before you go.

Awsome apartment and location; we felt very comfortable; actually an absolute recommendation! Only one restriction or important note for all those who have a light sleep: on weekends there is acuh in the courtyard / back of the building a bar with live music - it can be about 1-2 clock therefore still realitv loud in the bedroom (but is good music ;-))
