Séjour à l’occasion d’un mariage dans la région Nous étions 5 adultes ( 1 couple et 3 autres personnes ) Chacun avait son espace de couchage et sa salle de bain Maison propre , belle décoration et fraîche La vue du jardin est magnifique : vue sur les vignes Merci à Jonathan pour sa disponibilité, sa réactivité et sa discrétion Nous reviendrons c’est certain

Nadine et Sandro nous ont accueillis avec beaucoup de générosité dans leur très belle propriété. Le refuge d’Aliénor est adorable, cosy, très propre, très fonctionnel avec tout le confort et plein des délicatesses de nos hôtes qui ont été aux petits soins pour nous (mention spéciale pour le panier gourmand qui nous attendait à notre arrivée ainsi que pour les transats, plaids et petites lumières pour les soirées sous le noyer). Nous avons pu arriver et repartir à l’heure qui nous convenait le mieux. Tous nos vœux de succès pour ce magnifique projet d’hospitalité à Pellegrue! Nous repasserons vous voir !

We wanted a peaceful and undisturbed break from our busy working lives, just the two of us (for the first time in several years), we wanted a pool and a small property that would probably enjoy some warm weather at the end of May. Lavender Cottage and Janie (who was based less than 100m away) delivered all of our requirements and more - the property was perfect for our needs, it was gloriously quiet, the pool was warm enough to enjoy, and any queries we had Janie was only too happy to respond to. My wife's birthday fell on a French Bank Holiday and some venues were not open so Janie stepped in and kindly sorted out a reservation with a local Restaurant which was very kind of her - and was a great venue for a meal. The markets we went to locally were excellent and our visit to the Naked Vigneron to see the vines and taste them and have lunch hosted by the Yorkshire born Moores was great activity to consider - All in all just, what the doctor would have ordered (if asked)

Our stay at Château La Clairère was magnificent - Heaven on Earth! The accommodations, thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and hospitality made for a perfect stay. Thank you!

Nathalie and Tim were such extraordinary hosts! My family and I had a wonderful time staying in their beautiful home! The house itself is perfect for cooking, relaxing, and spending time together. We were able to enjoy the wonderful gardens and the pool all day and watch the sunset from our patio each evening. Such a stunning and relaxing atmosphere. The best part was how well taken care of we felt all week. Nathalie helped organize a tour of local vineyards, scheduled a wine tasting by the pool, and cooked dinner for us all on 2 evenings. She also had great local restaurant and market recommendations! We also loved our morning chocolatines and croissants! They were extremely kind and accommodating throughout the trip - delivering bottles of wine when we ran short, lending us a pot so that we could cook a big stew one night, and even working a miracle helping me removing a grenadine stain from a white dress I bought at a local market. I can’t recommend this wonderful home enough!

Florence et Thierry sont très accueillant, malgré notre arrivée très tardive, ils nous ont très bien accueillis. La maison était top, le lit prêt. Rien a dire. Nous recommandons à 100%.

Simplement magnifique! Nous avons passé un excellent moment avec des hôtes merveilleux et attentionné. Je recommande fortement leur logement hors du commun. Les attentions aux détails dans tout le logement nous fait sentir comme à la maison. Notre seul regret et de ne pas être resté plus longtemps afin de profiter encore plus. Merci encore pour toutes vos attentions pendant notre séjour. Nous reviendrons!

My family & I have just spent a perfect week at La Closerie and we all wholeheartedly echo all that was written in the very first review (March 25). There is, quite simply, nothing negative to say. Marilyne & Jeremy were the perfect hosts who could not have made us feel more welcome. Marilyne told us that their dream was to create a space where several generations of the same family could gather and create beautiful memories and, my goodness, they have achieved their dream! We truly could not have enjoyed our stay more. Blessed with beautiful weather, we spent the majority of the week enjoying time in the garden, be it by the pool, long lunches and evening meals around the table, or just marvelling at the rolling hills that surround the property. Marilyne and Jeremy write about La Closerie being a haven of peace; a refuge where one will find rest and relaxation and this is absolutely the case. Each member of my family sincerely hopes to return one day… A very special stay indeed…
