Vacation rentals with a kayak in Erie Canal

this place was great. Lauren and Jimmy had a bunch of good info on the fishing out on the lake and the boat dock was awesome to have. very friendly and the back deck was great to hang out on. would certainly stay here again next year

Clean and unclutter! Plenty of space to spread out and relax. Catherine was quick to respond to questions and left a book of helpful hints. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Amazing lake side property, the lake is literally 10 steps away from the yard. House is spacious, well maintained, definitely would love to go back for longer stays. Highly recommended

This Airbnb was the perfect fall getaway! We visited the lake to soak in the autumn vibes, and this spot exceeded our expectations. There was plenty of room for our group of five, and the host’s recommendations made our trip even better. While the area is known for summer fun, I think fall might be the best time to visit. We had an amazing time exploring the charming shops, cozy restaurants, and stunning waterfront spots, plus the nearby vineyards are a must-see. Can’t wait to return next year when the leaves are changing again—absolutely loved our stay!

We stayed at Beth’s place in April. The place did not disappoint!! Beth thought of everything!! Our 20 yr old granddaughter stayed in the apartment. Absolutely great space. The view was stunning!! The place was extremely clean throughout. All the rooms are set up to relax and enjoy!! The basement was a wonderland for the kiddos. Every toy, game, and wide open space to play. It was a delightful stay.

From start to finish Zoe was very responsive and accommodating. The bathrooms and bedrooms were very clean and neat. The bedding was very comfortable. We cooked a dinner and a breakfast and the kitchen was stocked well enough to make both these meals easy.

Had a lovely stay here, the natural beauty is truly to die for. Host was so accommodating and responsive. Will definitely return.

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we could ever ask for for a 3 day fishing escape. Neat and comfortable rooms and living space, a great outdoor deck space, combined with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Made our fishing trip more memorable!

Such a sweet little cottage tucked away above the Lake. Beautiful views from the deck, bedroom and living room! Quiet and serene yet close to all of the places we wanted to visit! Made a great landing spot for a relaxing and fun weekend! Thank you!!

We had an amazing stay at this airbnb! We really enjoyed the hot tub and the fireplace. The place is exactly as described, Alec and his manager were very responsive and flexible, making the checking in process so smooth. We loved sitting out on the deck in the morning overlooking the lake and have some hazelnut coffee provided at the airbnb. The airbnb itself had everything we needed including extra towels, drinking water (as the host listed that the tap water is lake water so it was nice of them to provide water filter) and throw blankets to cozy up on the couch. Overall, amazing stay!

Comfy & cozy for 2 couples, spacious bathrooms with nice towels, bedrooms also had an extra twin bed in each, kitchen had what we needed - coffee pot and wine glasses, and a great view of the lake. Lots of outside amenities, just too chilly to take advantage of them. Michelle was ultra-responsive too.

Our stay at Kara’s was wonderful. We rented the house and the bungalow, both of which very clean, and well equipped with everything we needed. The pictures are exactly what you will get. Well decorated, comfortable furniture, and washer/dryer in both units. We spent lots of time in the water, and having kayaks provided was a bonus! The porches were great for meal times together and playing games. The beachfront was awesome for getting in and out of the lake, especially with the kayaks. Location was super. Just over a mile into town, so close to grocery store, etc.. We loved our stay here and would definitely book again. Kara was super responsive!

Highly recommend this cottage! Beautiful views right across the street from the lake. Comfortable beds, 1.5 baths, it was perfect for a girls weekend getaway with 5 girls. (2 shared a room, one slept on a futon in the living room) but plenty of space and comfortable! The first night our heat wasn’t working, I messaged Catherine and she came over right away. She was helpful and got the heat working and super prompt. Definitely want to go back!!!

This was our second time staying at Ania and Stan’s beautiful cabin and just as we anticipated, it did not disappoint! If you are looking for a getaway that feels as cozy as bringing your home to stunning Lake George, this is the place for you! Ania has truly thought of everything! The location really can’t be beat! You have a stunning view of Lake George mixed with the peaceful quiet of the woods surrounding you. If you’re a fan of the night sky, bring your camera because its absolutely breathtaking being able to see so many stars shining right above you. The cabin is so close to town which makes it so easy to get out and really enjoy all that Lake George has to offer. The beds, sofas and linens are all so comfy and cozy. Ania even gave us the heads up that the weather was going to drop quite a bit during our stay and had space heaters already set up to get the cabin nice and comfy for us upon arrival. I cant express enough how much we enjoyed our stay, we cannot wait to get back! 🤍

My boyfriend and I had a wonderful time. We kayaked up the river and saw beavers and lots of birds. the amenities were great. very cute cabin with a fantastic view

Our favorite place to go in New York. We love that the cabin has everything we need and is right on the lake. Our entire family enjoys this experience and look forward to coming back every year!!!

I've stayed at a couple dozen AirBnB's over the years, but this most recent one, Jacqui's place on Spruce Lake, goes right to the top of my list of best AirBnB experiences. It has an amazing location, is wonderfully designed and decorated, pristinely clean and functional, but most of all, it has an indefinably cozy and peaceful vibe. A lovely retreat from the world, and a great place to hang out in front of a roaring fire ( it has a truly magnificent fireplace) with loved ones.

Had an amazing time at the serene location.. the cabin was cozy, clean and exactly like the description and pictures! Loved the time spent by the fire pit, making smores. The ping pong table added to the fun! Great place for unwinding close to nature. Thanks to Sarah for the prompt communication and support :)

The cottage and property was well maintained. You definitely feel like you’re staying at a person’s home. The books, games, open floor plan, soaking tub, all make you feel cozy and if your staying at a friends cabin without the guilt of being an intrusive guest. The bugs deterred us from being outside at night, but that is to be expected with the view. The kayaks were easy to use and not far from a sandy shore and lake. We stuck to the middle tiny island and floated. It is not deep. The private beaches are not necessary but there is a small area near the painted frog rock where you can place your kayak if you are alone and want to swim. I was told by the renter’s it was fine but you want to ask because I don’t know if it’s technically private shoreline. Sitting in the living room playing trivia and hiking Auger Falls was our family’s highlight and bringing our dog made him so happy. He is still tired! It was the perfect combination of rustic charm with excellent amenities.

We had the best stay! It was very beautiful and relaxing. Ed was extremely kind and reasonable. We can’t wait to return and try out some of the on-site activities. Ed gifted us with some of his own maple syrup and it’s clear he and his wife are dedicated to what they do. Very much recommend :)
