House vacation rentals in Erie Canal

This house was very nice with plenty of space for our family of 4 - could have easily fit 8 people pretty comfortably. House was certainly an old home that came with some quirks, but was nicely renovated and fully stocked with helpful items, kitchen was very nice with great quality appliances. Backyard was a great little oasis with a cool spot to relax, grill and eat an outdoor dinner. 25 mins to Niagara Falls, which was our main reason for visiting the Buffalo area. Host was responsive and helpful. The location is on a fairly busy road which was good and bad. A decent amount of constant vehicular traffic, but also very easy to get to places. Would recommend this house for a large family or a couple small families looking to visit the Buffalo/Niagara area.

Generously stocked kitchen and bathrooms. Unheated pool was a little too chilly the beginning of June, but great back yard space for grilling and visiting. A lounge chair with an adjustable back for reading would make it even more amazing. Loved that I could go for a walk on quiet country roads in the morning. Thank you Traci for all the extra's, your home worked out perfectly for us and we'll be back!

What a beautiful home! This gem in Mohawk is a must stay - Dean’s home was spotless when we arrived for the weekend. So much space for us to enjoy inside the house and a great outdoor space with a very clean pool! The weather didn’t cooperate with us to enjoy the pool but the water was crystal clear. The people around were town were extremely friendly - a local police officer pulled over to show our kids his patrol car and let them see how the sirens work. Dean’s home is a must stay for you and your family!

This was a terrific stay. The hosts communication from beginning to end was as good as can be expected. The home was cozy and well appointed. The property was beautiful and peaceful. 5 stars, will recommend and return again. Thank you!

Neil's place was the perfect spot for a family reunion. The house was located within walking distance of local restaurants and shops (or a very short drive) and had a nature walking trail just down the street. Neil clearly put great care into making the home comfortable for guests. It was well stocked and appointed. When we cooked dinner our last evening, there were sufficient plates and cooking supplies - a peeler, wine opener, etc. When it rained, we enjoyed the pool. We enjoyed the large dining table with a sufficient number of chairs (lots of cards games). There were plenty of rolls of toilet paper, paper towels, garbage bags, etc. The washer and dryer worked great and he provided the detergent. Will definitely be looking to book Neil's place in the future!

This is my families second stay at Bree’s beautiful home for the Christmas week. The family gathers from all different cities and such a perfect spot to come together ! Cozy and spacious , kitchen is well supplied and the views are spectacular. We were so happy to have a white Christmas this year and 6 fox sightings in the yard!! Highly recommend!! Haven’t stayed for the summer season but I can imagine with the pool and hot tub and lake use opportunities it would amazing. Thanks again Tom

Magnificent homestead built in 1855. Beautiful grounds. Loved the animals in the barn. Lovely tennis court and swimming pool. Comfy beds! Martha was totally responsive and helpful. Peaceful and relaxing stay!😊

absolutely amazing! every single aspect of the home was incredible. humongous inside, grand master bed/bath. immaculate accommodations. beautiful backyard! pool, hot tub, the best showers, 3 person sauna worked amazing. tons of space to spread out. our party had 11 people in it and noone was near one another. we all had tons of space. the showers and water pressure was to die for. ill never enjoy a shower as much as I did being here. host was amazing. great communication. very clear and responsive to any questions. by far the best home ive ever stayed in and I'm sure ill never ever find one this amazing again. will 110% return in the future. I wish I could live here!

What a perfect choice for us to spend a relaxing week celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary! While it felt remote and in the 'middle of nowhere,' we were only 15 minutes from the quaint little town of Canandaigua. The home was absolutely gorgeous, clean and had everything you'd possibly need. When they say "fully stocked" kitchen, they're not kidding. The bathrooms also had personal care items in case you forgot something. The basement bar is so fun, as was trying the sauna. Being a massage therapist, having an actual massage table was awesome. But the outdoor whirlpool was best! We soaked every night or early morning and loved being outdoors surrounded by nature. The beds & furniture were very comfortable. For those unsuspecting, I would just say be aware of woodland critters that can make it into the house ;) Upon arriving back one night, it was fun to drive slowly up the .5 mile driveway and as we parked under the carport, watch a mama & baby deer at the edge of the woods!

Love the house Chris was very helpful and everything we asked or needed. The area is perfect for a nice getaway with you and your family like I did definitely will return here in the future.

Beautiful view. Heidi made the whole process very easy and was thoughtful with supplying snacks and toiletries. We were fortunate to have great weather, but there was plenty to do inside on a rainy day. it was fun to use kayaks and fish off the pier. Thanks Heidi!

Beautiful spot, modern and clean house. We loved the hot tub, super clean. Nicely designed and decorated house, great views. Bring bug spray if you stay in June, the black flies are intense. Great hosts, would definitely stay here again.

Sarah’s place was amazing ! Extremely peaceful and just what we were looking for ! No distractions, and loved everything about this place !! Sarah is very responsive and accommodating. Definitely recommend reading her journey on how the house was built step by step and was in aw of it. Would love to stay here again next time.

What a wonderful and beautiful place. I was in town for my daughter graduation, and Zhe made us feel right at home. She decorated the house with balloons and even supplied us with a complementary bottle of wine. House was immaculate and looked just like the pictures. I would definitely recommend this place. Breathtaking views, and very quaint.

Audrey's place was the perfect spot for a cozy night away. Everything was exactly as described and shown, Audrey was incredibly responsive and flexible with a later check-out time. The best part was the creek in the side yard- such a relaxing place to have a beer in the evening and a coffee in the morning. We lucked out finding this spot!

Christopher's house is lovely and very well stocked, as he lives there on and off throughout the year. Truly a treat. The house is directly on the lake with a private dock. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we are considering spending a week there in the future, as long as we can rent a boat and dock it at the house. 🤞🤞

Was a great location, close to everything we wanted to do, 10-15 mins from golf courses, 10-15 mins from casino. Backyard was just big enough for lawn games/activities, hard to beat being right on the water for the price

Stephanie’s place was exactly as pictured/described and just what we needed for a 2 night stay. The space was comfortable, nicely styled and very clean. We arrived late and Stephanie offered to turn on lights and air to make our arrival that much easier and more comfortable. She responded to simple questions quickly and kindly! We definitely recommend and would stay here again should the need arise!!

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful home to celebrate our anniversary. It was clean, beds were super comfy and the views stunning. Loved the furniture/decor. Scott was quick to respond to questions. We really had a relaxing, lovely time.

We just left Yasiel’s place and are already planning our return. My husband and I both work remotely and stayed for 5 days with our mini goldendoodle. It was perfect for WFH—tons of outlets, great spots for video calls, and fast, reliable internet. The house was spotless—easily one of the cleanest Airbnbs we've stayed in over the past 10 years. No bugs or weird surprises. The pool was the highlight: warm, super clean, and the perfect size. I could’ve stayed in it all day. The fenced-in yard was perfect for our pup to run and sniff safely. We loved how peaceful the area was and even spotted deer, rabbits, and chipmunks. The home also has everything you could need in the kitchen, including a dishwasher! The neighborhood was friendly—people waved from golf carts, which was a fun change from NYC life. Huge thanks to Yasiel and Rachel for being so responsive and accommodating. This place is saved to our Favorites and definitely a 10/10 stay.

Very cute 2 bedrooms with a very spacious bedroom on the top floor. We stayed one night on our way over to upstate and it was perfect!

If you are looking for a retreat in the form of a home away from home, I highly recommend Waterfall House. The landscape, scenery, and waterfall provided a peaceful environment. The home is very well appointed, which made us feel at home and comfortable. Nice amenities. The waterfall provided a beautiful, tranquil sound that lulled us to sleep—no sound machine was needed. Plan to drive a bit for groceries and entertainment, but it's worth it. We stayed at the property for our son's graduation from Syracuse, so we had to factor in driving time. Still, it was a nice respite at the end of the day, and we enjoyed sitting near the window to watch the waterfall as we relaxed in the evening and over coffee each morning.

The house is small and cozy, perfect for a couple. We loved it. The sunrise looking out the living room windows is phenomenal. The views of the lake are great. Non-stop fish jumping in the lake. Fishing from the dock was good. Caught a bass by the dock.
