Private suite vacation rentals in English Channel

It was a little peace of heaven, the cottage (inside and outside) looks like it's out a story book. The cottage was spotless, enough space for a family, the kitchen was big enough and equipped to cook easy meals, we were served croissants for breakfast (lovely touch). There's a working fireplace and wood is provided. I would love to back there anytime.

Glyn and Harriet are extremely welcoming and very helpful - both before the stay and during. Aella is very comfortable, everything was very clean and there was lots of helpful information about nearby food places as well as things to do. Very peaceful, the walk to the beach is exactly as advertised! Thank you for an amazing stay, can't wait to come back!

We bolted on a couple of nights to a longer trip to sample the off season nightlife in Mousehole. Gemma’s place was ideal for us, very well located on the edge of Town when coming from Newlyn. The furnishings, finish and ambience of the space are spot on and perfect for the 2 of us. OK, it’s a steep haul back up from the Harbour but it is great exercise and only a few minutes from pubs and restaurants back up to the house. Gemma provides full and detailed information in advance and also has plenty of hints and tips for the locality if you want it. Parking in this location is a real bonus. Thanks for a great stay !

Theresa and Simon are very friendly, accommodating and make you feel at home. They know the area well and are happy to share their knowledge. Great people. The Garden Studio is neat and comfortable, the garden is peaceful and and there are many places to relax. You will never regret coming here. 😊

Great location within easy walking distance of south coast path to visit Seatown and Charmouth. Spotlessly clean and well equipped. Ideal for a short break. Louise very kindly provided lots of local recommendations too.

Very good stay for just one night but hosts helpful. Good to be able to sit out for breakfast at the front of the house in the sun. The nearby beach cafe is very good for breakfast. you can hear the children's get above but did not bother us.

Richard and Mo were great hosts and provided us with all the information required to meet our expectations. Richard met us on arrival and it was lovely to have the basics for breakfast provided for each morning, which was an added surprise and very welcomed. This facility was perfect for my wife as she has mobility issues, and the Airbnb is all on one level with walk-in shower, so made moving around was made so much easier. We would highly recommend staying here, and will look to rebook for our next visit to Devon.

Absolutely fantastic place to stay! Ian and Rachel are the most gracious hosts. We felt like old friends right from the start. They called nearby pubs for us so we didn’t unnecessarily drive somewhere they were no longer serving food for the evening. The space is so big and quiet. We absolutely loved the area. It perfectly fit our taste for the quiet, rural areas (but still easily accessible to nearby areas with plenty of dining options and shops). The breakfast was wonderful and plenty to go around! We had an amazing stay and wish we could give extra stars! Practically perfect in every way!

We echo all the reviews that have given Nel’s place 5 stars! We were on a tight schedule of visits around the country, but both agreed we’d would’ve happily stayed longer and just enjoyed the cosy accommodation and peaceful surroundings. We’re thinking of downsizing our family home and the design/layout of this delightful apartment gave us ideas for maximising a smaller space. Everything was spotless, the living room sofa and armchair were perfect for us, bed was super comfy, kitchen has everything needed and the whole place was light and airy. This was a perfect place for me to stay when visiting my daughter. It is extremely comfortable and well equipped and on site parking is a bonus. I would happily stay again.

Jo and Andrew were great host. Always there when we needed them but left us to get on with things. Such a beautiful location and the pool was so much fun. Kids had an absolute blast. Near shops, beach and Bournemouth town centre but so nice to head back for our private oasis each day. Would definitely stay again

We had a comfortable and relaxing stay. Very conveniently situated next to St Ives (10 mins), and many beautiful hikes.

The property was beautiful, peaceful and quaint - exactly what we were after. Bobbie was on hand and made checking in super easy and she was a lovely and friendly host. Would recommend to anyone in need for a peaceful stay with a short drive to nearby attractions such as Lulworth Cove/Durdle Door.

Excellent location; a short walk from Newlyn and Penzance with views over Mount’s Bay and Newlyn harbour. There is a good parking space, making it an excellent base from which to explore the local attractions. The accommodation was comfortable and well appointed, with some nice touches to make our stay that little bit more special. Wendy was an excellent and friendly host, only too happy to help and provide good advice. We really enjoyed our time here. Thank you.

Our stay at Angie's place was fantastic. The property is quiet, clean and well-stocked with everything we needed. A 30-minute walk to the town center. Easy check in and check out, good communication. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone

We had a wonderful stay with our toddler at Christy’s place. She accommodated our needs with no fuss and a lot of care- providing a high chair, stair gate and cot for our little one. The Annex is beautiful and in a great location to explore East Sussex and Kent. Would not hesitate to recommend this place! It is outstanding. Thanks Christy and Nicholas!

We stayed 2 nights, the accommodation was very clean and comfortable. The welcome brownies were yummy and the milk in the fridge was a life saver as we forgot to bring any! Looking to stay next year as we go to Dogstival and it was an easy drive to Burley. Lymington is a lovely dog friendly town with great cafes and pubs. Milford on Sea is good for a long walk along the beach with a view of the Isle of Wight and the Needles

Lovely place to stay, well presented and very comfortable with everything I needed. Nice little area outside the door to sit and watch the birds and drink tea. The surrounding countryside is beautiful too. Friendly and welcoming people.

This was a great base for us to use whilst visiting family in Devon. Perfect for our young family and has everything we needed. Jackie let us in and gave us great local recommendations. We really appreciated the welcome basket they provided - such a nice touch! Many thanks again for making our travels with the children that much easier!

What a beautiful home! We had a lovely long weekend break. Suzi was extremely welcoming and helpful. The offer to check in early was extremely appreciated. The bottle of wine and dog treats left for us was so nice to have waiting for us after a long journey. The property and location were beautiful. A really high quality feel with everything you could need. Having full access to the grounds of the property was a fantastic addition. I would recommend a stay in this lovely property with lovely hosts to anyone looking to stay in the area! Thank you for a lovely little break away!

The annex was perfect for our few days in Jersey, spotlessly clean, well equipped kitchen, good sized lounge area with large tv, plenty of dvds and books, fantastic bathroom with large walk-in shower and super comfy bed in a bright and airy bedroom. Jane was very friendly and made us feel extremely welcome. Would thoroughly recommend, we’ll definitely be returning to this gem of an Airbnb.

Lovely place, very comfortable and with a brilliant breakfast hamper all ready to go for the morning! The home-made cake was delicious… Fabulous views over Mounts Bay and St Michael’s Mount itself (though, sadly, the weather wasn’t great!).
