We had a great 4-day stay in Angoulême. The accommodation was impeccable, spotless and tastefully decorated. A real pleasure to settle in and enjoy the comfort offered. Tiffany, the owner, was very kind and very accommodating for the check-in and check-out times, which made our stay even more enjoyable. We sincerely thank her and would highly recommend her place!

The setting is very pleasant, no vis-à-vis or noise. The house is perfectly clean, the bedding comfortable. Very good stay, I recommend it!

Aubeterre is a beautiful village perched on a hill, to be discovered! The cottage was very nice, well-equipped, with a beautiful view from the terrace. Beautiful decoration. Thank you

It’s all been said before but La Petite Burnie really is a gem. A lovely restoration of an old barn, really well equipped and with endless outside space so you can find the sun at any time of the day. Above all a really generous and welcoming host. Thank you Christian.

Enjoyed our stop at the little farmhouse. Quiet place, beautiful walks nearby. Jean-Marie is welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is as described, beautiful decor, small very functional bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast offered is delicious. Ideal on the vacation route or for a few days' stopover. In short, a great place, we'll definitely come back!

We were hosted very well by Martine and Patrice in this home. The accommodation is very clean and very good taste. The kitchen is very well equipped, you just have to do your shopping. The accommodation is spacious, there is an outdoor area provided as well. I know where to stay if I go back to Confolens.

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. Thank you for this charming cottage, we had a great time there with the family. The garden is superb, wooded, quiet and pleasant. The coolness of the house is very nice in summer. Everything is as described, with a bonus of toy bins for kids!! :)

We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

The cottage is really ideal for family reunions with young and old, and what's more, in an idyllic setting to make sure nothing is spoiled! We had a very beautiful stay here!! The wagon is really cute and the surroundings were peaceful and calm and pretty too!! Michaela has made such a lovely place here, she is a kind and friendly woman, it was interesting to chat with her. This apartment was wonderful! The location was perfect, we had no issues finding parking and the beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed the beautiful balcony. I will note that the WiFi was the best we have had since being in France for 3 weeks.
