Very clean, comfortable and perfectly arranged accommodation. The undeniable little extras for a family trip with little ones are the games room and outdoor games that made 2 people happy and the garage, very appreciable and spacious to park the trailer with the space in front for the car. Another important point, the beds made and the towels also provided are 2 points that greatly facilitate arrivals with children. Not to mention the space in the bedrooms to fit a baby bed, one of which is available on-site if needed. The walking elements and documents on the surroundings made available are clear and appreciable. The terrace overlooking the relatively quiet road side, overlooks a small field and a pleasant wood line for breakfast. Housing that deserves the attention of families and whose availability I would not fail to check, if I were to come back to the area.

Charlotte and Jérôme are very welcoming and available, everything is designed to make you feel good, the rental is very functional! Convenient self check-in and check-out. The setting is very pleasant, no vis-à-vis or noise. The house is perfectly clean, the bedding comfortable. Very good stay, I recommend it!

It’s all been said before but La Petite Burnie really is a gem. A lovely restoration of an old barn, really well equipped and with endless outside space so you can find the sun at any time of the day. Above all a really generous and welcoming host. Thank you Christian.

Enjoyed our stop at the little farmhouse. Quiet place, beautiful walks nearby. Jean-Marie is welcoming and discreet. The accommodation is as described, beautiful decor, small very functional bathroom and comfortable bed. The breakfast offered is delicious. Ideal on the vacation route or for a few days' stopover. In short, a great place, we'll definitely come back!

We were hosted very well by Martine and Patrice in this home. The accommodation is very clean and very good taste. The kitchen is very well equipped, you just have to do your shopping. The accommodation is spacious, there is an outdoor area provided as well. I know where to stay if I go back to Confolens.

A truly unforgettable stay! This private, spacious boathouse was an absolute dream. From the moment we arrived, we were wowed by the unique character and thoughtful design—especially the stunning bolted ceiling that give the space more charm with a touch of grandeur. The bed was comfortable, making every night restful and serene. The bathroom was great with a big walk-in shower, and heated floors were a luxurious bonus we didn’t know we needed! Everything was spot on, blending comfort with a sense of adventure. If you’re looking for a stay that’s both cozy and strikingly unique, this is it!

We spent two nights in the large, well-equipped cottage for 8 people. Friendly welcome and comfortable bedding. The site is just incredible: river, waterfall, beautiful trees... And in addition, a pool. Thank you for this weekend in the countryside.

Sophie and Craig were the perfect hosts, they were so friendly and welcoming and made sure we had everything we needed. There was a welcoming (and much appreciated) basket of goodies waiting for us on our arrival and a bottle of wine in the fridge. The gite was just as described and the perfect place to unwind. Lovely views throughout the meadow and surrounding area, the natural pool was a delight. The chickens provided fresh eggs for breakfast and the dogs, Roo and Ted are adorable. We were met by his beautiful dogs on arrival making us feeling immediately welcome, followed by Gideon who welcomed us like we were part of the family. Gideon and his wife couldn’t have done enough, always being around for a chat, or just for a quick wave and smile. This truly is the most peaceful and beautiful setting to escape the reality of city life. The house its self was beautiful with vaulted ceilings and exposed original brick, they have got the perfect balance of rustics and contemporary. We couldn’t fault a thing and whoever gets to stay here next, is sure to love it just as much as we did!

We had a great time with the family. We took full advantage of the huge and peaceful garden. The cottage has authentic charm and is also very functional and modern. Hiking trails are easily accessible, and children were able to see sheep and other animals in the nearby fields. Communication with the host Isabelle was also very good, very responsive by message or phone. We really appreciated the flexibility on check-in and checkout times. in short, we highly recommend it, the stay was perfect.
