Warm welcome with a very good cake for breakfast the next day. A great playground for children usable even when it rains, our twins had a blast and we were able to rest peacefully before hitting the road again. kid-friendly accommodation we really recommend. See you soon

This is a beautiful place to stay on the banks of the Charente which we enjoyed from the canoe but just loved seeing it flowing along edging the grounds. We came on the train which is a very easy journey from Paris to Jarnac. It is then less than an hours walk along the cycle path or quicker along the very quiet road. The market in Jarnac is excellent and there’s some nice cafes and bars. In Bourg Charente itself the bar tabac sells morning baguette and croissants, especially good to put an order in the day before. Also in the village La Ribaudiere restaurant was absolutely amazing and an experience not to be missed. So this is a great place to stay if you are car free like us but bicycles really help too especially with direct access to the 400 km path La Flow Velo. Lots of fun! Thanks to Andrea and Dominic.

We came as a group of 7 for the 2025 Comic Festival. We were greeted with a friendly welcome that immediately put us at ease. Accommodation is clean and tidy, the items made available are well indicated and suitable (towel, kitchen, dishwasher etc.). The setting is quiet and peaceful, less than a 10-minute walk to the bus stop. Thanks for your kindness!

Linda and Alex's villa is in a beautiful & peaceful location, it has a fantastic swimming pool and beautiful gardens with lots of things to do – table tennis, swimming, boules, & relaxing 😌 The area is wonderful with lots of River swimming and beautiful towns all within a 10/15 minute drive We will definitely be returning

We were able to enjoy a wonderful family reunion this year thanks to the house and its exteriors! Both young and old were able to create beautiful memories in the estate! We were hosted very well by Martine and Patrice in this home. The accommodation is very clean and very good taste. The kitchen is very well equipped, you just have to do your shopping. The accommodation is spacious, there is an outdoor area provided as well. I know where to stay if I go back to Confolens.

Small, cozy, quiet and well-appointed cocoon. Very cozy bed and spa turned on before our arrival. Very responsive and so adorable host, 👌👌 very good communication. We had a very relaxing night. Also very nice attention, and champagne at the top,👌 everything is there to come back regularly for us. One more star would be even better. I would highly recommend this place.

We enjoyed our stay at Anne's place. The house was clean with all the necessary amenities, and located a 10-minute walk from the city center. We particularly liked the outside of the house, very appreciable at this time of year. Although she was unable to welcome us, Anne was very responsive, available and accommodating. We recommend Anne and her house 100% for a stay in the area!

Naj and Mathilde are friendly hosts. Check-in was very easy and the apartment is functional and pleasant, in a quiet and clean residence. Perfect for one person and for short stays.

Gorgeous stay in this wonderful little town for our friends wedding. Loads of amenities in the property - TV, speaker, fans and very appreciative of the welcome wine and biscuits. Fantastic location. Only downside was that we all had to share en suite shower as the other bathroom just had a handheld shower over bath which would have caused a lot of mess if used.

We had a very pleasant week of vacation in the green Périgord. Marc is a warm and attentive host, he wants everyone to feel good, all in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The accommodation is clean, we enjoyed the terrace overlooking the greenery of the park and the pool. A week during which we also enjoyed the baguette and small morning croissants, as well as the restaurant tastings on the site! An invitation to relax with the possibility of walking and/or cycling on many arrow trails. An address to remember.

A functional, well-equipped, tastefully decorated studio. The residence must be from the '70s but very clean and with an elevator! 10 minutes from the city center. Small downside for parking within the residence. No spots are dedicated...

The stay at Martine's went very well for the 3 of us. You can park there quite easily with the surrounding parking spaces, and the apartment is 15/20 minutes from the center on foot, 10 minutes from Périgueux Plage in summer! Also, the greenway is very quickly accessible for those who want to ride a bike or something. The apartment is very nice, with separate toilet from the bathroom, functional kitchen and large living room. The balcony was not too usable because it was too hot during our stay. We had 3 fans at our disposal. In addition, the entire neighborhood we met is very polite and smiling.
