Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Eastern Finland

A weekend getaway at the cottage, in the peace of the countryside. It was peaceful and nature was nearby. You could have gone down to Messila when it was so close to the slopes, but maybe next time. It was very nice to stay here, everything worked as expected and the description of the cottage was accurate. Responses to messages were quick! It was very entertaining.

The stay met our needs brilliantly. Guests included two dogs who enjoyed the outdoors in the fenced-in yard. The youngest guest was a 5-month-old baby with a travel crib ready. There was also plenty of level space in the bathroom, and the changing of the mantle went smoothly. I'm sure we'll book a stay again if we're on the go with a larger group of people.

Lea is a lovely host - very welcoming, warm, friendly, accomodating, easygoing and flexible. I had no issues whatsoever with her or my stay in her house. The house and her property by the lake is just gorgeus, the view is so calming and beautiful to look at. She takes great care of her garden too. I found the house having a very peaceful energy to it, I felt very relaxed there. The only slight downside for me personally was the double bed itself in the bedroom I stayed in. The mattress felt as it had seen it's better days, didn't feel quite firm enough for me, but then again this might not be an issue to other guests at all. I personally happen to have certain back issues and a good bed is something that's very important to me (I had forgotten to ask about the bed prior to my trip). I spoke to Lea about it after my first night and she was just wonderful with the whole thing as with everything else - didn't get triggered or provoked at all. She offered one of the other rooms to me as the single beds are firmer and that I could pretty much choose freely what ever works for me best as I was the only guest in the house during my stay. I found her to be very easygoing and just lovely in every way. I had some very nice conversations with Lea as well and we shared some great laughs too. She was also very kind to me, for example when it rained hard upon my arrival and my only shoes had gone soaking wet, she offered to dry them in the sauna for the next day. Also on another day when it kept raining, she offered me her own rain coat and rain boots so that I wouldn't get wet as I was taking part in the music festival as a singer and getting sick would have been very unfortunate. She also allowed me to practise freely in the house. Brewing a cup of coffee in the morning and the use of basic condiments such as salt and pepper while cooking in the kitchen was also included in the price. I am very pleased with my stay at Lea's beautiful home. She was a superb, fun host and seemed like a wonderful humanbeing overall. I felt great in her house and have no complaints about her whatsoever.

Great stay, such a peaceful location. Warmed the sauna on both nights, and even had a plunge in the lake, even if it was a little hard to get in. The kids were entertained with outdoor and indoor games. Comfortable beds for the four of us, we all slept so well.

Lovely cottage in a beautiful, quiet spot. The cottage was very clean and there were instructions provided for everything you need to know. Host was easy to communicate with and very helpful.

Very nice stay!😊 It was just like the photos. Spacious one-bedroom apartment for a weekend stay with one child! The kitchen was well-equipped and there were many dishes. Special thanks for paying attention to your child with toys and books, as well as your own soap! We'd love to come back again.

Very nice little cottage near the holiday club

A clean, clever, contemporary apartment right in the center of Jyväskylä. As travelers with young children, we appreciated the flexibility of the accommodation arrangements (portable beds + loose mattresses), bedroom blackout curtains, high chair, and rooftop terrace with not only views, but also a playground for children!

An excellent accommodation right in the middle of the city. Very close to the train station and easy to find. The instructions given are very clear and easy to follow. The apartment itself is on the high street but hardly any noise. The amenities are perfect, and we had a lovely stay overall!

Lovely little apartment. Clean and well located.

The location of the apartment was excellent, and the view was great. The parking lot was right next door. It was a convenient short walk to the market, and there was a good hiking trail around the pond. The little one had everything they needed: a crib, a high chair, a treatment tray, and toys. In addition, all the items we needed were found in the apartment.

Beautiful apartment, in love with this very central apartment, supermarket in front of the house, restaurants, bars, shops absolutely everything under the house, beautiful!!! I highly recommend Jussi's apartment to everyone. Great communication with the host. Very kind and friendly, always available to answer any questions you may have. Everything was perfect😍😍😍😍😍. A peaceful place to stay. The possibility of charging an electric car was a plus.

This place was definitely worth the price. Great location. It was a little difficult to find the apartment at first when the navigator looked wrong. But in the end, they found it, and from there, everything went great. The sauna got a good steam and a bathtub was a plus. Nothing to complain about cleanliness. Ilpo was very nice and responded to messages quickly. Recommended!

We got a place to stay quickly ,even though we were on the road the same day. It's a great place to stay for a small family. The apartment was very cozy and nicely decorated, and very clean.

Comfortable and tidy apartment with very good location in the center of Jyväskylä. The service was very good and flexible. I got an earlier check in even though I didn't actually ask for it. I just told you I would be arriving earlier in town.

I have stayed at Mervin Aittorinne homes in Jyväskylä and Kajaani a few times already. Aittorine's apartment is conveniently passing north or south. Mervi's apartments are clean, welcoming, beautifully decorated, and well equipped. Everything you need is on the spot. Communication with Mervi is always great, and the visit is effortless from start to finish. I can warmly recommend Mervi's apartments and will be happy to stay there again!
