Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Eastern Finland

Small house with all the normal amenities. Particularly stylish sauna and laundry room. A good double bed and even an adjustable large table for remote working. The host couple was kind enough to greet us and show us around. There was even a tarp for the car. Recommended!

Really a beautiful place to stay. The house was way more beautiful then on the photos. It was very clean and it had everything needed. The terrace is very spacious and you can see through out the house and all other utilities, that everything was prepared and decorated with a lot of love and attention to details.

Lea is a lovely host - very welcoming, warm, friendly, accomodating, easygoing and flexible. I had no issues whatsoever with her or my stay in her house. The house and her property by the lake is just gorgeus, the view is so calming and beautiful to look at. She takes great care of her garden too. I found the house having a very peaceful energy to it, I felt very relaxed there. The only slight downside for me personally was the double bed itself in the bedroom I stayed in. The mattress felt as it had seen it's better days, didn't feel quite firm enough for me, but then again this might not be an issue to other guests at all. I personally happen to have certain back issues and a good bed is something that's very important to me (I had forgotten to ask about the bed prior to my trip). I spoke to Lea about it after my first night and she was just wonderful with the whole thing as with everything else - didn't get triggered or provoked at all. She offered one of the other rooms to me as the single beds are firmer and that I could pretty much choose freely what ever works for me best as I was the only guest in the house during my stay. I found her to be very easygoing and just lovely in every way. I had some very nice conversations with Lea as well and we shared some great laughs too. She was also very kind to me, for example when it rained hard upon my arrival and my only shoes had gone soaking wet, she offered to dry them in the sauna for the next day. Also on another day when it kept raining, she offered me her own rain coat and rain boots so that I wouldn't get wet as I was taking part in the music festival as a singer and getting sick would have been very unfortunate. She also allowed me to practise freely in the house. Brewing a cup of coffee in the morning and the use of basic condiments such as salt and pepper while cooking in the kitchen was also included in the price. I am very pleased with my stay at Lea's beautiful home. She was a superb, fun host and seemed like a wonderful humanbeing overall. I felt great in her house and have no complaints about her whatsoever.

Everything is perfect: highly recommended. If I had to go back to the area I would definitely stay here. Paddle boats always available, barbecue on the lake and comfortable house for 5. Natalia was very friendly.

Great stay, such a peaceful location. Warmed the sauna on both nights, and even had a plunge in the lake, even if it was a little hard to get in. The kids were entertained with outdoor and indoor games. Comfortable beds for the four of us, we all slept so well.

Nothing to complain about. Nice trip!

We spent a nice weekend at Tarja's place. Everywhere was clean and tidy, the kitchen was well-equipped. The main house has a little smell of grandma, the sauna building didn't have this. The accompanying dog was allowed to run in the spacious fenced yard.

Very beautiful apartment in a great location. The view from the window and balcony to Olavinlinna Castle made the place a fairytale. Everyone matched the description. Very clean and well-equipped. A dedicated parking spot is a plus. Linda responded to inquiries immediately and everything went great. This is where I'd like to stay again.

The stay was great, the place was clean, everything you needed was in the kitchen and bathroom. Walking quickly to the center of Tahko, the shop and restaurants. It was easy to stay with a small child when we found the travel crib made ready. Recommended!

Clean, big, and great location. Everything worked, except for the heating of the sauna, it was a little tricky. I recommend it.

A clean and clever apartment with everything you need, only the biowaste trash was missing. The apartment is great for a couple or small group. Smooth communication with the renter. I would come again.

I stayed several weeks and I'm very satisfied: the apartment was clean and tidy, in a quiet location near the center, and for example, the intermediate cleaning was done flexibly and well. Pekka took good care of the guest, responded quickly, and asked to let me know if there were any flaws-it wasn't. I'd love to come back to this if I need a place to stay in Mikkeli.

Hanna's house was one of the loviest place I had the chance to stay at! The environment around is a dream, even under -15 degrees: the frozen lake you can have a beautiful walk on, the snow and animals... In itself, the house has the most beautiful view and everything you need to spend a great stay and feel at home! I recommand 1000%, will be back there in the future!

The house is a cozy nest, very spacious and very well-equipped… Elina's house has contributed a lot to us having a good vacation, the sauna is great… All the rooms are large and warmly furnished despite the cold outside, it warmed our hearts… The exteriors offer a beautiful snowy landscape. The interior architecture and design are very well-representative of the countryside houses in Finland. There is a wonderful wood-burning sauna and two fireplaces to keep the house sufficiently warm. The kitchen has all the necessary tools and amenities for cooking. One thing to note though is that the fridge doesn’t have a freezer. The house is by a little picturesque hill with pines, birches and rocks covered in moss. On the side of the house, there’s a yard and a grilling side with a nice view to the open fields.

It was a great place with a peaceful surrounding to enjoy vacations. The place was easy to find and had everything needed for a good time. There was a boat available but we could not use that because of bad weather. I would definitely recommend this place.

Great log building with interesting details. There's plenty of room and a great place for things like birthdays. Active communication with the renter. Cars can fit well in the yard, and the residents of the cabins around can't be seen. ⚜️ I had a great time! ⚜️
