Villa Selkola has previously served as a forest school. It is located in the middle of nature and the distance to the shore of Lake Selkojärvi is about 150m. There is a sauna on the beach with a fireplace and a terrace, a dock and a rowboat. NOTE! The beach sauna is not in use from mid-August until the end of September. You can rent canoes from us for €30/day. There are currently two kayak units on site. It's a good idea to book a few days in advance. We serve breakfast to our guests.

The national park trails and illuminated ski trail run very close by, so it is easy to leave the cottage directly for a day trip on foot, by skiing or by bicycle. Our inn is a small, cozy Tyrolean-style villa with three guest rooms right in the heart of Koli, between the village and the peak. We are inspired by nature and traditions, and we strive to take care of the well-being of nature and a safe space for everyone.

Cozy accommodation in an old village school by the lake. Functional wifi - a great place for remote work! Dive into the clean waters of Lake Kutemajärvi for a swim or go rowing on the lake. We also rent paddleboards. In summer, the courtyard sauna is at your disposal. In winter, you can use the wooden sauna in the basement. A 1 km long forest path starts from the yard. Free parking and Kangasniemi services by car 20 min away.

The tiling and mosaics are made of recycled materials and the surfaces are made of breathable natural paints, paper wallpaper or untreated wood. The house is a long-term dream designed by Marru himself. Each space is decorated in its own personal style.
