We had a magical stay. Everything is beautiful, the setting, the accommodation, the beach, the sound... even better than the photos suggest. Uta is a very considerate host, and kind and ready to give good advice on things to do in the area. I would highly recommend it. If we have the opportunity we will happily come back.

Cozy private house which felt right like home. Kitchen had beyond everything you need for cooking while house offered plenty of activities - spa, sauna, piano, games, hiking trails and much more lovely place close to Helsinki

We - parents and three big children - searched for three days and found them in the house, collected berries, reach swimming in 5 minutes, fishing, rowing, jogging, using the sauna daily and enjoying absolutely quiet nights. In front of the house there is a large terrace with a great barbecue, which also has a hot plate - so we cooked and ate almost exclusively outside - only in the evening we are in the house and were able to use the cozy atmosphere. Summer kitchen offers everything you need. Drinking water was sufficiently provided to us, two good organic toilet outside. Everything is fine - we highly recommend Tuula and her house.

Just a cottage in the woods, with no neighbors nearby. Sauna excellent. Beautiful scenery.

100+ year sauna! Amazing to experience the history and culture of Finland here by the sea. It is meant to be a little rustic for how it used to be. The art museum of Sirkka Turkki next door is also an incredible experience to meet the artist and to see her creations. Ari and Arja are amazing people. On a very busy day, they still took time to find a special birch sauna vihta for me. They also made all of the toys available: bicycle, row boat, SUP paddle board. This is a lucky find if it is available grab it!

A perfect small mökki for a summer getaway! With a private access to the lake with sand, great sauna, barbecue spot and a beautiful forest with loads of blueberries and wind strawberries around. It's maybe better for someone with a car, because the closest grocery store is 6km away, and to get drinking water you have to boat 2 km, which was not a problem for us, but the boat and bikes at the property were not in the best state, but still usable. The house has everything you need, but is very small -- I feel like even though there are technically 3 sleeping places, 3 adults will use up all the oxygen at night ) but for 2 adults or 2+1 kid it's perfect. We felt very rested afterwards! There's also a very nice hiking trail nearby.

We spent a lovely cottage weekend enjoying the outdoors, swimming, and sauna. The stay was a short drive from services like a grocery store. There was a storm over the weekend and we were at the cottage for almost a day without electricity, but Markus handled it in the best way and without asking.

Very nice cottage in the woods and right on the lake, Arja is a very friendly hostess! We liked the sauna right on the lake best. Overall, we were able to experience a wonderful, unforgettable time in the Mökki and can only recommend the accommodation

The place was lovely! Beautiful scenery for idyllic seductive people. Peaceful and private setting! Rowing on the lake was comfortably done on a boat in use. The separate sleeping area was really good and the bed bigger than normal was a big plus. The sleeping area was crowned by an air source heat pump that was well adjusted to a quiet sleeping setting. We slept really well in the listing! The sauna was really neat and atmospheric. The carrying water brought real cottage vibes. The cooking was a great success in a diverse summer kitchen. The home has a large deck and a large covered area where it was nice to hang out, both in the rain and the shine. Our dog was also very comfortable at the property. Communicating with Marko and Marjo was really easy and natural! Messages were always responded to, and everything went so smoothly. We highly recommend this place!

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabin. We filled our day with sauna, swimming in the lake and cooking in the nice outdoor kitchen. There are some chores, such as replenishing water, but we enjoyed doing that. The bed is lovely and there is everything else you need. Charging phones went fine (if you would at least want that;))

We spent a family Christmas in a clean and cozy cottage that was in a beautiful and peaceful location within convenient distance of Koli's services. The beach sauna for an additional fee was definitely worth the price. Check-in was easy and we felt welcome, Helena had even left us a tree with decorations and a Christmas chocolate!

The cottage is very spacious and has all the necessary amenities, and even more! Beautiful environment! Boat, canoe, buoys, darts, board games: everything to keep you busy on site! Peaceful place that we recommend 100%!!!

A fantastic stay in this tranquil Mökki with lots of activities and a perfect family setup. Highly recommended and Tuomas is a superb host!

The location and the place were wonderful. The house in itself was huge and therefore a very convenient place to stay for our group. The furniture and the equipement were all very fine. Furthermore, the place is located directly to the bank of a river, with a very nice view. It was a very nice and enjoyable experience that we would definitely recommend.

A clean+functional cottage with beautiful scenery. The neighbor's cottages are very close, so in the high season, there will be more hustle and bustle around, but we had a very peaceful time during the winter. We were the only cabin in the beach, and we were able to enjoy the quietness and a great star from the sky in peace. Jarno has clear and good instructions on how to work at the cottage. Cheese extra points for cleanliness! We highly recommend this home! 😊

We've really enjoyed our stay at Sanna's cottage by the lake. The environment is perfect for anyone who wants to chill and relax in an extremely quiet and peaceful nature environment. In summertime, just listen to the wind in the trees, geese and ducks passing by, enjoy the veranda view from sunrise to moonrise, as well as stargazing. Sanna's cottage is clean and comfortable. Kitchen, bathroom and sauna are all well-equipped. We ran our errands on our way from Kuopio airport to have everything we needed for the first part of our stay. We quickly got used to the steep staircase that leads to the upper bedroom and to the exterior bathroom. The living room is decorated with charm. With Sanna's indications, we had everything to be autonomous throughout our stay. For sure, Sanna's cottage by the lake will hold a special place among my summer memories for a long time.

Also during the 4th stay we are super satisfied with this place. Everything is very well maintained. This is how we imagine a vacation in Finland. Quietly located, comfortably equipped, right on the lake😊. Heikki also has a very good touch with his guests, so that the furnishings and the house are always in 1A condition. Many thanks to Heikki! We will be happy to come back.

Lovely, cozy old cottage. Perfect for those who love the peace of nature and the vibes of the past. Particularly suitable for traveling with a dog.
