Chalet vacation rentals in Eastern Finland

We stayed for 4 nights and really enjoyed with the view in front of the cottage. We really like the sauna and bathub . And there is the lake just walk in 150 meters. The kitchen is well equipped.

Comfortable cottage with nice space. Swim access to the ski slope from the lower station about 300m from the pier. It was peaceful in every way.

We really enjoyed our stay at Jaana’s cottage. There was plenty of room for everyone and outdoor amenities were great. Unfortunately the dock was not in the water as shown in the photos, but it was easy to get in and out of the water regardless. Jaana also had frisbee golf, darts, 2 fishing poles, and a paddle board rental that we used. A beautiful and quiet place with miles of lake surrounding the cottage!

We were a group of friends stayed there for 2 nights. The surrounding and location is wonderful. The house has all the necessary equipments and perfect for vacation. If you love calm and quietness in nature, this is what you need. Two downsides you might face is the commode flush doesn’t refill fast enough. Also, you need to drive approx 10km to throw the trashes(better to carry big garbage bag). Maybe the municipality doesn't permit having trash bins nearby as the place is so into nature. We had great weather and even when it stormed the location is so peaceful and beautiful we enjoyed that too. The place is not updated or designer trendy but we liked the laid back feel of everything. It was July but everywhere was remarkably empty. We only saw a few other people and a couple of boats on the lake through the whole week. Puumala has everything you need. Also, check out the rock paintings nearby - they are fascinating and in wonderful locations.

It was was great, possibilities for fishing, swimming, stand up Paddington and for example Sauna. Vesa was really nicht, helpful and the Island is incredible. thank you.

Incredible cottage. private, accessible, super host, equiped. All you want!

Great location, peaceful surroundings, and just a short walk to restaurants, skiing, and slopes. The cabin was really clean and had everything you needed. We'll definitely be staying here again.

Lovely lakeside cabin with nice wood fired sauna. Access to lake with a large swimming bridge (complete with hammock). Well equipped kitchen with ample crockery. Very good and quick communication with the owner.

We enjoyed our stay in Muikkula Rantamökit! Pristine waters from Puruvesi lake were the cherry on top of our stay. Quiet, essential, not so many mosquitoes. We will be back for sure! The host and his dad very kind people ☺️.

This is our second time here. The perfect mokki in Finland for me. The views, the sauna, everything about the house. I could stay here for a month. I absolutely loved it.

Stayed at Timo's amazing "mökki" (=cabin) for almost two weeks with my family. Timo was really responsive and helpful from the start and the mökki is simply wonderful. Missing it already.

Cute cottage in an ideal setting. I was afraid of the cold at the end of October but the electric heaters worked very well! Comfortable sofa bed, just the toilet outside at this time of year is not necessarily convenient, but the view of the lake clears everything else!

The cottage responded and even exceeded our expectations. The cottage itself was simply but adequately equipped and we had a great time! The surroundings are a peaceful and idyllic Finnish lake landscape.

A finely located cottage that's great for a traveler who wants to spend time in a sauna, swimming or rowing and grilling with a traditional cottage suite. The cabin was clean and the host was friendly, everything went as it should.
