Nature cottage in the middle of the woods at Norg, Drenthe. Just away to be alone together for a while. Enjoy cooking, good conversations by the fireplace, relaxing in the alfresco sauna among the trees or in the hot tub on the terrace under the starry sky. But you can also use my house to work quietly in an inspiring location in the middle of nature. In the night the entire forest garden is beautifully and subtly lit. In short, a super nice place where you are immediately attacked by peace and natural beauty.

Overnacht in onze eenvoudige, maar knusse cabin met vrij uitzicht over de Hondsrug op loopafstand van het dorp. Onthaasten in Borger, temidden van de bossen en de heide. Wandelen, fietsen, golfen en op loopafstand het hunnebedmuseum maakt een bezoek de moeite waard. Er bevinden zich diverse wandelroutes in de buurt waaronder het Pieterpad en het Drenthepad. Voor de wandelaars is er vervoer beschikbaar. Vraag gerust naar de mogelijkheden!

This (entire!) house is located at water with a magnificent view. The city of Groningen can be reached in 20 minutes by car car. The center of Zuidlaren is easily accessible by bike. There are many possibilities to explore the area: walking, cycling or by boat. Our vacation home is located in a nature reserve. The house with lots of privacy is located on a large private property with parking spaces.

We stayed here with 6 adults as part of the Superbike World Championship. If you don't have a problem with bunk beds, you can sleep up to six people here. The beds were very comfortable, the amenities in the house varied. There was everything you needed. The area is super nice if you like it quiet. A short walk and you have a beautiful lake with a beach in front of you. It was about a 20-minute drive to Assen. The hosts were super friendly and very helpful.

Enjoying the large garden, making friends with cat Willem, looking for an egg every day with the kids, baking mud pies, jumping on the trampoline and sitting by the fire on the covered terrace in the evening. For us 4 adults and 2 kids this was the perfect vacation. Many thanks to Joanne and her family for their hospitality, generosity and all the thoughtful details.

This place is magical and healing! We enjoyed our stay more than words can say. The surrounding animals are enchanting. The hosts help wherever they possibly can and are incredibly attentive. The area offers a lot for various explorations. Surprisingly, the small cottage contains everything you need. We will remember this special accommodation with great warmth and are already looking forward to the next time!

We had a wonderful weekend in this great chalet! It was perfect for really relaxing – you feel a bit secluded, although neighbors are nearby, you don't notice them at all. The atmosphere was super quiet and pleasant. The beach was quick and easy to reach and really fantastically beautiful. The chalet itself was very cozy, comfortable and had a really homey, warm atmosphere. The sauna was easy to use, plus there was a small pool to cool off in – perfect after a sauna! The garden was also a highlight: We played badminton there and spent a lot of time on the beautiful terrace. It was just an all-around great experience. Thank you very much for this special place!

A very special experience, this yurt/yurt! Very nicely decorated, with beautiful colors. We enjoyed sleeping in the big bed. The place got nice and warm by the easy to light fireplace. The greenhouse next door offers space for sitting with, for example, coffee and tea. The washroom looks very neat. With a good hot shower. The surroundings are very quiet and spacious. In short: very worthwhile if you are following the Pieterpad by foot or by bike.

We were very happy that we were able to enjoy a few days off and rest with Jutta. The apartment is of high quality and fully equipped. The three of us with our little daughter didn't lack anything. We enjoyed the small private garden as well as being able to move freely in the yard. Jutta and her husband were very nice, open hosts. Personally, we liked the tranquility, the space and the nature very much. Bike trips in the area are worthwhile.
