An absolutely dreamy escape for two! complete with scenic views, and enough special touches to feel at home. Fiona made everything so comfortable and we look forward to coming back!

We had an excellent week at this property. Lovely location, we enjoyed our walks down to the beach each day with our dog. Such a lovely buzz on the beach, very chilled. The open top bus from the site to Sandbanks and Poole was great. Our teenage daughter and her friend made use of this a couple of times to go shopping and explore a little on their own. We visited Corfe Castle, which was in a lovely place and parked on the Purbeck car park (rather than the actual Castle Car Park) which gave a lovely scenic walk through and passed over the Steam Railway. We visited Lulworth Cove and did the cliff top walk over to Durdle Door, which was an amazing site. Weymouth is beautiful, very sunny that day so perfect for a sea side resort. We took a look at the Beach Hut, in a great place, with a green area, Cafe and play park. Would work really well as a base for enjoying yourselves, especially if you have younger children. This was my second stay and it was just as wonderful as the first. The surroundings are stunning and the wagon has everything you need. It’s so cosy and comfortable and Susan and Neil are both so friendly and welcoming they really make you feel at home. It’s the perfect balance between feeling looked after and having some peaceful time on your own. I find a couple of nights here is extremely restorative!

We had such a wonderful stay at the Piggery. It was absolutely beautiful, we loved the space and the indoor/outdoor living. Our two little girls had such a lovely time in the outdoor space while we could relax as it was so safe. We visited Longleat and it was a perfect locations, just 10 minutes away. The perfect place to unwind after a very busy day! Beverly was so lovely and made us all feel very welcome. We will definitely stay again!

Our stay at David and Jill’s place was one of our favourite Airbnb experiences we’ve ever had! We couldn’t have asked any more from them, we were greeted on our arrival and they came over to check in on us as checked-out. We felt so looked after! David and Jill have thought about absolutely everything at the property, and the space is contemporary whilst also feeling cosy and relaxing. My partner and I wish we could move in!! The location is amazing, it is so quiet and peaceful, yet you can drive into big towns within 10-15 mins. David and Jill have such an amazing knowledge of the area and told us all the good spots to eat and explore throughout our stay - which was also conveniently all printed out and put into a folder for us to look through at our own leisure too. We only wish we could have stayed longer! We will 100% be back. Thank you Jill and David for having us, and for making our weekend so special :)

Thank you so much for hosting us Tracy. The hut was perfect, beautifully furnished with lots of thoughtful touches. The best bit was the location, private and secluded. The view from hut was just of rolling hills - no buildings or even roads in sight! A place to unwind and de-stress.

Rebekah was very welcoming and lovely host! Fantastic stay, beautiful space with everything you need. Attention to detail and kind gestures for your arrival with milk juice and plenty for breakfast from crumpets to chocolate croissants! Lovely big garden for outside space. About a 10 min drive to the closest beach. All beds were super comfy! Highly recommend and hope to come back next year!

Our whole experience of staying at the Bird Hide exceeded all expectations. Great to have an excellent corner shop just down the road and selection of places to eat/drink. Also bus stop 5 mins walk away to get to all other parts of the island. And lovely walk to Freshwater village through wooded nature area. The Bird Hide itself is so very private and well stocked with absolutely everything you might need. Thoroughly recommended!

Sue and Ben are the most welcoming and lovely hosts. Helped us out as soon as we arrived and made us feel at home. The cabin was gorgeous and the location is so quiet! Thank you both!! Would recommend to anyone!!

Fantastic stay at Woodpecker Cabin. Set with on the forest, it was true tranquility and peace. We loved watching all the wildlife and birds and what a treat to meet the deers ! The cabin itself is spotless and comfortable. We used the fire pit and was lovely just to take in all the surroundings. We will definitely be returning !

A lovely hut in the New Forest, beside the local pub (which we didn’t actually try). A peaceful location! Really well appointed, luxurious hut, with v comfy bed and a lovely bathroom! What more could you want!

We had a wonderful time in Alister's tiny house, and the house is lovingly thought out down to the last detail. The view of the Tor is breathtaking, and access to the Tor is a privilege. Alister was very friendly and available at any time for questions. We would return anytime and highly recommend the tiny house. Thank you!

Beautiful accommodation and Sharon was a lovely host. Messaged us with helpful instructions on how to find the accommodation ahead of time. Made us feel at home. Just what myself and my partner needed for a spontaneous relaxing weekend away! Sharon’s dogs are also so lovely and always welcome you at the gate. My husband and I had a great stay at Kate and Jamie’s place. Studio 28 was perfect for our summer solstice visit! Very comfortable and Kate and Jamie are wonderful warm hosts. The little touches and effort they go to are very kind and thoughtful. Would love to come back in the winter and spend more time in the studio. Thanks Kate and Jamie!

I recommend Claire's we had the best time everything was catered for and the surroundings set in the woods was amazing thank you for everything and the breakfast was just what we needed and very tasty we will be back

Penny (and Mark) are very welcoming, helpful hosts. The Annexe has everything you could want and is very comfortable. The garden and summerhouse are delightful to relax in after visiting all the attractions in the area. The location is quiet, but has a regular bus service that runs past the front door, so you don't need to use a car to get into the City, which is a great advantage!

We spent a long weekend here and really enjoyed ourselves. The pod was spotless and had all required amenities, including a great hot tub and fire pit. Adam kindly showed us round upon arrival and explained how everything worked, and was available for any further queries. The location is amazing and worth every penny. It's quiet and secluded, whilst still being in walking distance of the local pub. Being by the river and enjoying the sunshine whilst the water rushed past was incredibly peaceful. Hoping we can return one day!

Our weekend stay at The Little House was absolutely perfect. We instantly fell in love with both the house and the garden as soon as we stepped in. We arrived to a beautifully kept, gated driveway, where we were warmly greeted by the host and her gorgeous dogs. Check in was super easy and the house was extremely welcoming. Everything was immaculately clean and tidy with helpful instructions inside. The super king bed with its crisp linen was so inviting and the decor was beautiful throughout. The bathroom was superb with luxurious toiletries and the softest towels. An absolute bonus for us was the garden. It was so pretty and had so much room for us to both dine and relax in. Anne kindly recommended some great places to eat and visit, all of which were great. We were also fortunate to spend some time with the gorgeous Enzo and Bella. We really cannot recommend this place any more highly. The pictures don't do it justice. We cannot wait to return to this absolute hidden gem. Thank you!

What a fantastic little find! Little Glen Brook was super clean, with plenty of space for the 2 of us a a large dog. The gardens were beautiful, and being woke up to the sound of birds singing was amazing. A beautiful pub which is a stones-throw away, and lots of lovely places to walk. But also is so close to other walks in the New Forrest that you don’t feel like you’re stuck in one place. We had the best time and will definitely be back!
