Braeburn Lodge

Our stay with Natasha & Jono was absolutely wonderful- it is incredible accommodation with comfy beds and great facilities and a bonus that it's so child and dog friendly- loved having my morning coffee with a view of the Tor! The accommodation is in a great location with only a short drive to Glastonbury or Wells and we were able to arrange for a shopping delivery on the first night which saved us having to bring everything with us, the food delivery found us with no problems. Big Shout out to Vanessa for all her help throughout the stay and for being so welcoming to the children.

Bramley Lodge

JasonRating, 5 stars1 week ago
The quality of the accommodation is excellent and of a high standard, with the attention to detail plainly evident. We found all the essentials were supplied, tea, coffee, toiletries etc and a lovely touch. We are a family of six and found the quality of the beds, bedding, shower, towels, kitchen amenities, furnishings superb. The accommodation was roomy and comfortable even when it was chilly outside, with lots of heating options including a log burner to keep warm. Jono was on hand to check us in and give advice on local attractions. Thank you. This is an absolute gem and we had a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again. Jason & Denise

Our whole group had a fantastic weekend away at this beautiful spot. The rain didn't dampen our spirits as the facilities were perfect. The gorgeous yurt made a wonderful communal space & the firepit provided a magical outside spot. The tents were very comfortable & had everything we needed. We would highly recommend this private getaway & could not fault it. 10 out of 10!!

Safari Tent 2 @ Tapnell Farm

EricRating, 5 stars44 months ago
We had a great time here. The location was picturesque and there was plenty to do on our week long stay. The tent was ideal and surprised us with how roomy it was. Check in was easy as in they text to let you know it’s ready and you just turn up at your tent. Each tent has a BBQ kettle, fire pit, two deckchairs and a large beanbag so lounging outside is to be encouraged. The views are great and the animals on site are friendly enough. The only gripe we have (completely not anything the venue can solve) is the Earwigs! They get absolutely everywhere! If you’re going to stay here then be prepared and maybe bring some airtight containers (even then they’d find a way in!). The play barn area and farm activities are spot on and there’s a lot to do to keep you entertained and although you have to pay, if you’re staying on site then it’s pay once and use as many times as you like after. We ate at The Cow twice whilst we were here and the food was great, service was spot on and for a reasonable price as well. We had a great time here and we’ll definitely be making a return visit, albeit we’ll probably try a lodge next time round. Thanks for having us!

Luxury Glamping at Gambledown Farm, Hampshire (2)

AshRating, 5 stars35 months ago
We stayed for 6 nights in May half term in one of the Safari tents for our first glamping holiday (we had done camping before we had kids), it is idyllic. We are a family with 2 young children (5 and 18 months) in addition my 79 year old father came with us as well as our dog. There was plenty of room for us all in the tent and the facilities were perfect, everything was immaculately presented when we arrived and we had everything we needed. We were out doing something everyday so only used the accommodation during the morning and evening, our only issue was that we couldn't spend a little more time enjoying it! We got lucky with the weather as it only rained on 1 day and that day we were out on Brownsea Island which had good weather, so although it was wet when we returned to the campsite it didn't affect us all that much. The only issue was that since it had been raining during the day and again overnight, that night was noticeably colder than the other nights so we had to start the fire in the wood burner earlier, but we used 2 slow burning bricks in there as per each night and it wasn't really an issue. All instructions and information was clearly laid out, living on a farm is great for the children to enjoy and the honesty shop works really well to allow you to get the basics that you need when you need them. We opted to have some of the homemade pizzas on the first night for convenience, which you need to preorder by 4pm the day before and I would definitely recommend trying these. The staff were incredibly helpful pre, during and post arrival as I enquired if they knew of any local dog boarders since we wanted to spend 2 days doing activities we could not do with our dog. They provided 2 recommendations the one we picked was perfect and allowed us to enjoy our 2 days without worrying about how our dog was. I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Safari tents at Gambledown Farm as a fantastic glamping experience for anyone who wants a great staycation with a bit of rustic charm and fantastic access to the New Forest and surrounding attractions.
A charming arrangement of rustic structures is surrounded by vibrant greenery. Colorful bunting adds a decorative touch above a sheltered seating area. A variety of small birdhouses are displayed on a wooden fence, while a sign for drinking water is clearly visible in the foreground.

The camp site was perfect for me and my 2 children, the alpaca’s, the goats, the facilities and whole site was amazing, they loved it! Throughout our stay Claire made us feel right at home, and always made sure we had everything we needed! She even took the time to sit down and talk with my 2 sons on multiple occasions about the fossils they found that day 😊

Glamping safari with hot tub & wellbeing space

SylviaRating, 5 stars7 months ago
Fantastic place to stay in Somerset countryside whilst visiting friends. A stones throw away from Bruton and 10 min walk into Wincanton. Charlie and Paul were extremely helpful, friendly hosts and I had everything I needed for a very cosy, comfortable stay, with beautiful view across the meadow. Very tastefully styled and well equipped too. Charlie organised a yoga class in the big chill out tent for a few of us which was extra special and the hot tub was especially magical at nighttime under the stars.

2-Bed Safari Tent | Countryside • Pool • Hot Tub

AlexRating, 5 stars8 months ago
What an amazing place. We stayed in ash safari tent and it was so peaceful and perfectly accommodating. Heated blankets, fireplace, kitchen with fridge and everything you need. The pool and hot tub were an amazing bonus and the kids just loved it. We stayed for 3 nights but easily could have stayed the whole week and we were very sad to leave! Toasting marshmallows, pizza on site and beautiful scenic surroundings really made the holiday one to remember. We will definitely be returning!

Camp Wight Rent-a-Tent 1 Nr Yarmouth Isle of Wight

ZaraRating, 5 stars33 months ago
Just to start, we were quite skeptical about camping especially with two kids (3 and 5) but I should say that our experience with Camp Wight was unexceptably briliant as the place is really secure, safe and clean provided with clean WC service including warm shower! There are also different sinks with drinking water for refreshment as well as washing up the dishes. Moreover, there are BBQ pits with burning wood availeable to enjoy a nice evening within a frieldly atmosphere. in addition, as the tents are provided with fly net - however the weather was very warm, the number of insects were little- one should keep the nets closed or it helps to take your own fly net for the kids! Also, it worth mentioning that every tent comes with a gas cooker as well as a kettle! Also, glamping is available if interested, we may try it for winter! The essential stuff: Light and Torch; toilet tisues; bin liner; washing up liquid and hand wash. Finally, we should thank the management, and their hard work, to provide such a great space which was an amazing adventure for us and our kids - our 3 year old is still talking about our spacious and beautiful tent! We will definitly go back. A big thumbse up to Camp wight and the Isle of Wight👍🏻

Secluded Bell Tent camping in the New Forest #1

RachelRating, 5 stars8 months ago
Our first family camping 🏕️ adventure was a success. This beautiful secluded site has been created with love and some lovely details. Having our own compost loo shed, shower and sink for washing up made life so much easier. The fire pit and bbq were well used and the fairy lights at night made the site look magical. The mattresses were super comfy, and our littlest members both slept really well. Our wellies were really handy for avoiding wet socks and shoes in the dewy mornings and helped protect against ticks. Communication prior to our arrival was great and we managed a slightly earlier check-in. The personal welcome note at the gate and useful info sheet in the tent were really helpful too, as were the in person check-ups. Thank you! We look forward to a future visit.

private kid-friendly glamping -2 delightful tents

NishaRating, 5 stars20 months ago
Lovely stay and friendly accommodating hosts. I think others have mentioned, but the road is very loud (not the hosts fault!), but ear plugs might be desirable and we knew it was in the garden, but is very close to the guests house - it wasn’t a problem at all - but was closer than we expected, so just for others to take on board. We had everything we needed. Great brunch at the dairy close by and a good walk in to Wimborne for meals and drinks along the river.
