Loved the house, we stayed for Christmas it was perfect for our needs. The host had put up a beautiful Christmas tree for us. It was super Christmassy and a short walk into town for the lights and a few drinks in the pub. The house was warm, clean and the host was welcoming - we were so happy with everything! We had a perfect family Christmas all together with lots of space. The house is decorated querky and interesting - we loved it.

Had a lovely stay at Tracy’s place. Tracy was a wonderful host and we felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The accommodation is spacious, quiet and clean. There is a pub and local parade of shops less than a 10 mins walk away and Torquay town centre is 20 mins down the road (the walk back is all uphill though). I would highly recommend this accommodation.

Clean & tidy Friendly & accommodating hosts Beautiful surrounding gardens with beautiful views of the sea & hills. Very peaceful with the occasional sound of the sheep in the distance, I would recommend for either couples or Families. Thank you Gigi & Roland for another wonderful time @ Huntingball-Lodge. Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.

Excellent host who was extremely helpful and easy to get hold of. House was just as described and provided a perfect venue for our 24 hour work retreat.

We had a fabulous time celebrating my son’s 21st birthday at Moor House. The house provided a lovely “about time” vibe and allowed us to carry out lots of activities in the local area, sea kayaking, clay pigeon shooting etc coming back for a family celebratory supper on the Saturday night. Definitely a house perfect for a family celebration

Fabulous house which is deceptively large and can host a large family/friend group. Very lovely cottage garden too! In a delightful village on the harbour and super restaurants and pubs. Highly recommend!

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

The house was the perfect place for our family and we enjoyed staying here so much we’ve actually already booked to come back! Having access to the beach meant being able to quickly pop down with our small children around bedtimes and naps and waking up to the view every morning was magical! The house had everything you could ever need, was so clean and comfortable and we instantly felt relaxed the minute we walked inside! Thank you Daisy! X

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again

I have to come clean - I am an enthusiast of Penarth, the architecture of the town, the community feel, and everything about the place. Sarah's place, being among the oldest houses in the town, was a must for all the things I was looking for. Sarah herself is friendly and has clearly put a lot of herself into the house. My journey time to Penarth could have been subject to delays, being more than 500 miles... but we had good communication and met up without difficulty at the house. All in all, the house was cosy and well appointed. It also was a great base for strolling into Penarth Town centre and even, across the barrage, to Butetown and even Cardiff. I would thoroughly recommend Sara's house for your stay.

We loved its quirkiness, but Weeke Barton is an old building with uneven floors and low ceilings and spiral staircases which were a challenge. The stairs didn’t defeat us, but they are tricky. The rooms are warm even when a log fire is needed, which is recommended, and the beds are very comfy. All the bedrooms are great and full of history and character, which is the same for the whole of Weeke Barton. The location is also ideal for exploring Dartmoor, for riverside running and good food pubs. There is enough to do locally when it rains, and perfect walks for when it’s sunny. Thanks to Jo and Sam for the local information and Winston for the entertainment.

We booked this break for family to sample the island thinking we may move down here Beatrice from the moment we booked was helpful kind considerate polite and responsive - the house was exactly as photographed and described. Soft furnishings and linen were outstandingly presented John Lewis bedding and throws on the very comfortable beds Very well presented when we walked through the door the position of the house is phenomenal The panoramic sea views from the front were breathtaking the garden was beautifully presented and although the weather didn't really lend itself to sitting outside in the evening the lighting was ambient enough to have made having a drink in the evening outside very enjoyable. We were a family of 3 couples 2 small children and a single person we took our small dogs with us too and they loved every second of our stay We were enchanted by Ventnor and plan to rebook Do not hesitate to book this little gem - you won't regret it 😍

We needed the property for 2 weeks, Robert suggested I go round to check it would work before I needed to confirm the booking which was honest. Nice amount of space for a family of four, close to the children’s’ schools and Clifton village a 15 minute walk away. Robert was responsive and helpful and we had a lovely stay.

We had an amazing stay at Coombe Villa! The house was spotless, spacious, and perfect for our group of six friends. We loved the sea views, the games room, and the cinema setup, which made for some really fun evenings. The location is ideal, with beaches, cafes, and restaurants just a short walk away. Simon and Charlie were super responsive and helpful with any questions, which made everything really easy. It had everything we needed for a fun and relaxing getaway. Highly recommend!

Wow wow wow!!! This property definitely has the wow factor. The views, setting and location are fabulous. You could never tire of looking across the grounds, pool and the creek. The property had everything we needed and perfect for a family with children. A few minor maintenance issues but nothing worth mentioning.

Lucy is a very responsive host and really helpful. The Lodge is a peaceful place in a beautiful part of the Bristol/Bath countryside, so perfect for walking and enjoying the views. The pool was perfect and the lounge area great for relaxing!
