Vacation rentals with a fire pit in Dorset

Dave and Emma are the perfect hosts. They were so accommodating of our needs and super flexible in helping us to prepare for our stay and celebration. The property is beautiful, it’s peaceful and you feel right at home. Our teenage son and family children loved the games room as a ‘den’ to escape to whilst we enjoyed sitting on the deck with food and drinks. Dave and Emma have thought of everything, if they don’t have it then you don’t need it. The kitchen amenities were just fantastic, everything was there, clean and easy to use. The mobile signal wasn’t great this weekend and broadband struggled a little, but being surrounded by our favourite people, it didn’t matter too much. We would love to stay with our families again to enjoy this beautiful property. Thank you Dave and Emma again, so so much!

Having grown up in the area, Kennel Farm is the place we choose to come back for our family holiday every year. We love the house and surroundings. Excellent location and Tanya is a perfect host. Highly recommend.

We loved our stay here. The place was cozy and had everything we needed. Location was perfect - very convenient for exploring Bath. Garden was a bonus - Kids enjoyed watching the chickens. Highly recommend it to anyone visiting this area!

had a quick one night stay, but beautiful place and in a lovely village, peaceful, quiet with our own terrace. cecily was very welcoming and happy to advise places to go and visit and where to get anything we needed. interesting history of the property, beautiful garden, inside was lovely and clean and comfortable, with tea and coffee. would certainly recommend as somewhere to stay.

We had a lovely four nights stay at Suki and Owen's place and really enjoyed it. The views across the rolling countryside are wonderful and peaceful and we enjoyed the sunsets sat outside the barn. Listening to the wildlife and the owls at dawn were also highlights. A great location for both coastal and countryside walks. Cosy accommodation with everything we needed for our stay and comfy bed. Would highly recommend.

We chose this venue as it was recommended by Upton Barnes’s wedding venue where my son and his fiance were getting married. We were able to accommodate all of my side of the family for the wedding and the newly married couple joined us on Sunday to entertain members of the wedding party With a cooked breakfast followed by a barbecue lunch. There was plenty of space seating and parking for the approximately 25 people who visited us over the day.. Tracey was very helpful host and the house was equipped extremely well a three-year-old grandson had an enormous range of toys to entertain him. I cannot recommend this property more highly

Before the trip she sent us some information for things in the area, places to eat etc, was very helpful. Lovely little hide away, nice and private. Just as the pictures showed, Beautiful. Anna's place is a beautiful. It is done up to a beautiful standard, and a great location to explore Weymouth, durdle door and Lulworth cove. Positives: - beautiful welcome pack on arrival - clean linen and towels - all instructions were easy to use - lovely spacious and airy - It has a spar right next door. - parking onsite - jacuzzi was nice Negatives -I believe Anna has new cleaners that day so kitchen and bathroom weren't 100% clean and bit musty. -the garden could do with a bit of maintenance - there is no stair gate for stairs worth noting for people with young kids. - no microwave (if needed) Overall it was a fab stay and we would definitely stay there again. Anna was quick to respond to my feedback and a superb host

The beach hut is a perfect retreat. It is beautifully kept and has a gorgeous private garden which goes right up to the water’s edge. It’s wonderfully located less than 5 minutes walk from the main Sandbanks beach and Rick Stein’s restaurant. The Studland chain ferry is also very close giving access to stunning Shell Bay and the wild National Trust beaches. Michele was very friendly & provided many thoughtful touches including her homemade lemon drizzle cake - sublime! I would love to return as it’s a perfect spot from which to explore this area or just to meditate on your bed with a sea view. Thanks Michele!

I stayed here whilst working in the area, unpredictable hours meant that I needed more flexibility than a hotel could offer. This is my first time using Airbnb and it won't be my last. Ruth offered fantastic accommodation, which ticked all of the boxes that I needed, the bedroom is superb with a huge comfy bed. Downstairs has everything you could need to be comfortable, including a log burner, which after a long, wet and stormy day was most welcome. The grounds at Crawthorne are immaculatey kept, with some chickens and sheep to keep young and old entertained. Ruth couldn't do enough for me, and it was a lovely feeling to come back after a long day at work to find the place had been thoroughly cleaned and a gresh set of bedding. I would definitely book here again. Top marks! Thank you for being such a great host!

We loved our stay on the bus. The bus was lots of fun, especially the driver’s seat and stairs. The setting was lovely and camping facilities were great (hot and clean showers). The farm shop over the road was great and plenty to do nearby. Highly recommended.

Beautiful annex, exactly as described and shown in pictures. 5 minute walk into the local town, with nice shops, cafes and restaurants. 5 min drive from The New Forest. Perfect base for our holiday. Would recommend.

The Stables is a lovely home to stay in when visiting Wells and the surrounding area. It's quiet and a very relaxing place to come back to after a busy day. Would definitely recommend.

The shepherds hut was a lovely peaceful place to stay, it came equipped with everything we needed & was the Perfect break needed. Hot tub was lovely and bonus for the hut having its own bathroom. Decorated lovely nice & clean & overall great place to stay. Many thanks!

Me and my boyfriend spent two nights here the cabin was super cute and the outdoor area was lovely. Easy drive to national park where there was a village with cute pubs and tearooms. Beautiful scenery. 20mins from the coast which was lovelyyy!! Forrest right out the back of the cabin which you could then walk to a pub in 20mins or so ideally good to have a car but if your looking to have a relaxing stay and not leave this is perfect. BBQ set up and hot tub was lovely. Very peaceful.

The lodge far exceeded our expectations, which were already high based on previous comments. It is beautifully presented, well equipped, and very welcoming. Emma was warm and responsive in her communications, and it was lovely to meet her during our stay.

We had one of our most amazing stays here! Place is meticulously crafted for you to relax, have some nice hot tube experience, roast some bbq and just chill! Location is near a lot of cool places to visit — Oxford, Bath, Stonehenge and many more, make sure to ask Richard some recommendations! Richard is an amazing host with great attention to details. Fresh coffee beans or anything you need from a shop? He’s here to help you. Let alone wealth of experience that he’s ready to share during a nice morning outside coffee! Must visit! We’ll be back loads of times!

We loved our stay. The animals are charming and such good companions. The cabin is comfy and so quiet. The fridge is quite tiny so don’t bring too much. It was a heatwave while we were there so we had bread and cheese and local deli and farm shop stuff when we were at home. It was too hot to cook. Micro/grill looks fine tho and pots and pans good. No need to cook anyway.. Strand cafe does gorgeous breakfasts, Culm Valley inn does lovely food. We went to Villa Verde near Wellington which is open for Sunday supper- good pizza and pasta. Sunsets were gorgeous every night and I’m no expert but I think the Milky Way goes right over the cabin. We also did the horse drawn canal boat trip from Tiverton- very relaxing and well run. So many things to do round there but we jut pootled and pottered. Will have to return!

I enjoyed a beautiful, peaceful stay at The Studio. The place was spotless with everything you could possible need for a restful stay and Alison was a wonderful host with easy communication. We have just returned from a lovely stay at Ryan’s cabin. Patrick and Margaret were so welcoming and lovely and were really helpful with giving us recommendations for walks, pubs and places to visit. The cabin itself was spotlessly clean and the bed was lovely and comfortable. The kitchen area had everything we needed for a few nights away and having cereals, milk + snacks provided was such a lovely touch. We also loved the fresh bunches of flowers dotted around the cabin. The location was stunning and so peaceful, it felt really private and was the perfect location for accessing the forest and coast. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting a peaceful stay away from the hustle and bustle. We look forward to returning soon! Thank you!😊

We had a fantastic stay at the hideout! Everything was clean and well equipped. The hot tub was wonderful and we loved how peaceful it was. A great location to explore the jurassic coast. Jason was a great host as well!
