Set on a lake in beautiful Somerset surrounded by rolling countryside, it is situated halfway between the popular artisan market-towns of Frome and Bruton and a short drive from Longleat. Here's the 'Rambler's Retreat' A cosy off grid caravan set in a secluded spot 300 mtrs from the kennet and Avon canal towpath near Bath. It offers two double beds, a one ring cooker, a vintage washstand for victorian style body washing, 12v solar lighting and one usb charging port. Outside you have a private patio, fire bowl, washup area and your own compost toilet. (Our filtered Spring water has tested crystal clear at Wessex Laboratories.) Wood and eggs are usually available to buy on site.

Cosy up for a winter break in a beautifully converted old army truck with stunning views of Lyme Bay. In the winter months you have the whole field to yourselves, so it’s perfect for a romantic getaway. There are beautiful walks in the woods up behind my holding and a lovely riverside walk to the beach, which is perfect now the holiday crowds have gone. The truck is well insulated and has a wood burning stove.
