Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Dogtown

We had a great stay definitely would stay again needs a few updates but generally clean and easy check in and was not against us coming in early. Was very responsive and good communication definitely a 5 Star host will definitely suggest to friends going to St. Louis.

This property met all of our expectations. Dylan is a great host, and it is even lovelier than the listing photos! Super close to Main Street, Lindenwood, etc. It is so nicely appointed- from the kitchen to the linens to comfy beds and YouTube TV. On top of that, it was squeaky clean and well cared for. This was a really special weekend for our family, and this house made it even better. We all agreed that we would stay here again in a heartbeat if it was available. If you're looking for a place in St. Charles and this fits your size / bedroom / bathroom requirements, stop shopping and go for it.

I could not have found a better place to stay. Area was great, smooth check in, very clean home. Tony was excellent about responding.

Great host and the house was perfect for a long weekend getaway with friends and small children, well equipped and close to many touristic places.

We made Sara’s home our home for our month long stay and it was perfect while we were visiting our daughter and new grandbaby. The home had everything we needed. The beds are so comfortable, the bathrooms and kitchen were fully stocked, and it was so convenient having laundry downstairs. The basement living room was a cozy option to watch tv or work. The neighborhood is quiet and we took nice walks throughout the area. Sara was very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. We will definitely be returning and have already booked to come back.

The house is quaint and charming, with an old cottage charm. The host allowed us to check-in an hour early when we arrived prior to stated check-in time. He also allowed for us to stay a little past check-out time to give us time to change an unfortunate flat tire. The house is close to several restaurants and in a peaceful neighborhood. Would stay here again!

Excellent and very responsive hostess! Had everything we needed and what we didn’t have, or had a concern about she took care of quickly. Very cute little space, floors are very squeaky so whenever someone got up it woke everyone, but house was in good condition, clean, and amenities as described. Just like the photos. Very cute little home and would definitely stay here again. We stayed as a family of 6 with big and small kids who loved playing in the back yard and all the games they provided. Also it was a quick drive anywhere!

The house was perfect for our group of 5. Two rooms on one side and 2 rooms on the other gave each family privacy, while still allowing for communal space. John was very communicative and accommodating to our needs. The location was great for getting to grocery, restaurant and highways.

We needed a place to stay while visiting friends in town. Beautiful house on a quiet street. Close to everything you want to do in St. Louis. I would definitely stay here again.

Loved our stay at Jim and Sara’s place! Plenty of space, apartment had all the essentials, great communication and instructions, and a very convenient location close to 44 and 64! Enjoyed jogging through tower grove park a couple streets over on Saturday morning, greeted by a lovely farmers market in the middle of the park! Parking was ample, and it was a quiet street! Had it been warmer I would have loved to have sat out on the back deck/yard sipping on my coffee (Keurig was a nice touch!) and reading—really a cute oasis in an urban setting! Thanks!

This was a great spot for a mid week St.L get away. Will be on my lodging list for future adventures for sure

The flat was very accessible, comfortable, and close to downtown Maplewood. We appreciated its quiet and cleanliness as well as the thoughtful extra touches provided. We hope to stay again in the future when visiting family in Maplewood.

Great location, close to local amenities with good recommendations for local spots. The space was comfortable and very pretty looking out the windows into the trees. I didn't use the kitchen much, but it was well stocked. The bed and floors are squeaky, but it's an old house so the floors are to be expected. Located in a very nice neighborhood for walking. Daniel has an interesting collection of books, I wish I had some more free time while I was there to page through some of them. Overall a very nice stay with no issues.

The place was up to date, clean, and very quiet. The couch was comfortable enough to sleep on. Lots of things you can walk to, and plenty of parking to choose from. There is a lot in the back as well as street parking in the front. The place was up to date and modern. The kitchen is fully furnished with pots and pans, dishes to utilize which is helpful.

This was our second stay with Ellis, and it once again was perfect for us. The location is excellent for both getting around the local area and also St Louis and beyond. The place itself is comfortable, spotless, and just as described. Ellis is a friendly and responsive host. Really could not be better.

Planning a trip to St. Louis? Stay here—you won’t regret it. This stylish home is in a lovely, upscale neighborhood just blocks from Washington University Medical Center and a short walk to Forest Park. It’s also right around the corner from the stunning St. Louis Cathedral. (We’re not religious, but the architecture is truly amazing.) We stayed for five days and quickly wished we had booked five more. Jennifer’s place is beautifully decorated, upscale, and incredibly comfortable—especially the bed, which felt like it had weighted blankets. Our sleep was incredibly restful.

Wonderful place close to Washington University. Great walkable neighborhood full of restaurants and entertainment. Janet's place was very clean, comfortable and quiet. We didn't prepare any meals but the kitchen was well supplied if we had wanted to. We had some difficulty opening the lockbox when we arrived but Janet responded immediately and got it sorted out. Would love to stay here again.

Had a wonderful stay and good vacation. I enjoyed my slow mornings due to the amenities the host provided. It was very comforting, feels like you’re home but you don’t worry about anything. Everything was clean and tidy! The instructions and guidelines are well written and easy to understand. If I come back in Missouri, I would definitely book this place again! 🫶🏼
