Pet-friendly vacation rentals in Dogtown

The Benton house was a great staging location for us. We needed to be in the area for a few nights with our 2 pups. The entire house was as described. We felt safe and secure. The fenced backyard was kept nice and provided a space for the pups to run around. We were able to walk a few blocks to eat and would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

We had a great stay. The house was good for a larger group. The dining room table was a good size, and the kitchen was well equipped. The beds were very comfortable. There was a lot to do in the area. This is a great place to stay for a city living experience, and for doing Downtown St. Louis activities. There are many great restaurants in the Hill area. Plus, gardens and museums.

This was our second visit to Ray’s place and it was just as great this time. It is very conveniently located to Millstadt downtown. Ray gave precise information for check in. Was very responsive when we messaged him that we were checking out early Sunday morning. Very friendly and professional! We will return!

Our stay was for 4 nights. We were there for my Son’s wedding, and Spring was very quick to communicate and was very kind and helpful. There was an iron, ironing board, and a steamer which came in extremely handy! The porch was a wonderful and private place to sit with a cup of coffee or just to visit with family. The appliances, kitchen utensils, pans, plates, etc were more than adequate and made it easy to store and prepare food. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms were stocked with thoughtful extras. Our stay was wonderful and I highly recommend Spring and her home if you need a place in the St. Louis area!

This place was so artsy and fun!! Loved the look of it, felt like home! Cool decor, labeled everything in the kitchen. Gave me the best recommendations! If we come back we will for sure stay again!

Nice place, quiet neighborhood, plenty of choices for food. We enjoyed the spa bathroom and fire pit very much.

We loved our stay here. The house was well put together and homey. We enjoyed the extra touches, like toothbrushes, makeup removers, and wonderful extra snacks for the kiddos. (Especially after the hot zoo all day). There was also a fantastic “guidebook” put together by the hosts, with local restaurant menus!! The physical location was in an old district, full of old historic homes and buildings. Close to the Zoo, aquarium, and the Budweiser Museum. And our kids enjoyed running around in the back yard for the night. Would definitely stay again!

Absolutely beautiful place full of unique charm and a great view. It’s right in the middle of where the tornado went through so it’s sad seeing all the destruction all around but it’s a great building and was refreshing to see everyone helping each other. Hosts were amazing and accommodating and will be staying again!

The apartment was excellent—clean, comfortable, and exactly as described. The host and receptionist were both helpful, especially with guiding us on how to use the Latch app for access. The building itself was very quiet at night, which made for a peaceful stay. The bed was cozy, and the bathroom amenities were top-notch. The layout of the building was a bit confusing at first, but manageable once I got my bearings. My only minor complaint is the strong aroma pumped into the hallways—not really to my taste. Fortunately, that scent didn’t carry into the apartment itself, which I appreciated. Overall, a great stay and I would definitely recommend it.

Perfect place for 3 adults - room to spread out, great location, very clean! Perfect place for our quick STL trip!

Tracey has created a lovely little haven. Her space exudes peace and comfort and provides all one could want for a short or longer stay. The park across the street was a great place to take my dog for walks. Grocery and other stores are nearby and the freeway is easily accessible. Tracey is a welcoming and thoughtful host.

I have stayed in this unit on multiple trips and will continue to book it. I love that I am close to the hospital and within walking distance to Target. The building itself is beautiful and felt very secure and safe. It was a great stay, as always.

A charming house in a very convenient neighborhood, I’ll stay here again and again! I was very grateful for the doggie bags and snacks, too, as we forgot to bring both. Finally, they had the BEST couch in any rental ever!

Great location in Dogtown, walkable to several restaurants and coffee shops and short drive to many more. Clean, modern decor, very homey. Could comfortably house 2-3 couples or 2 couples with kids. Pet friendly which was great with a large fenced in yard, however important to note there is no access to the yard from the house, you still have to walk outside with your dog(s) to gain access to the fenced yard. Will definitely be considering this property or one of Alex’s other properties for our next visit to STL!

This was a great experience, starting with the reservation and continuing through checkout. The host, Elizabeth was prompt to respond to questions and checked in a couple of times to make sure everything was going well. I am grateful I was able to travel with our dog and though I had my own bags, l appreciated that there was a full dispenser to easily collect the pet waste. The yard is cute and I enjoyed having my coffee on the patio. The location is ideal to all the best tourist sites and was close to family. The kitchen was well appointed though we took the opportunity to sample cuisine from local restaurants and used the kitchen mostly to reheat food. I would definitely recommend Elizabeth and her home to others and hope to stay there again for future visits back to see family.

My husband & I can’t share a big enough thanks re Metropolitan Flats. We spent 3 months away from home in this condo as my husband had a stem cell transplant at Siteman Cancer Center - Barnes which is directly across the street. As I was by myself for 5 wks while my husband was in the hospital, I always felt super safe in this location & the condo was very secure. The property manager/office staff, were always so kind & helpful & went above & beyond. The condo was wonderful with windows that overlook the beautiful, outdoor commons area. The unit had a kitchen with all appliances you have in your own home. Full-size washer/dryer was another great amenity. Loved the fitness room & beautiful lobby area, too. Owners were always available for questions & to offer assistance in such a timely manner. They were fantastic to connect with & were always so friendly & helpful, too. If we were staying in the Central West End in the future, we would definitely stay here again.

I stayed here for a few months. The place is clean and just minutes away from bars, restaurants. The bed and bedding and couch are really comfortable. The kitchen is fully stocked. My host was always responsive to my questions, which I greatly appreciated.

We loved staying at this cozy little house in STL - it was a safe area and super easy getting around. The house was cute, quiet and perfect for our weekend getaway. The beds were comfortable and THANK YOU for having a shower with excellent water pressure! That's hard to come by nowadays! Austin was very responsive and provided every amenity you could want (very thoughtful)! We will absolutely be staying here again when we come back up!
