We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Straguth. The small apartment is really well equipped, especially The kitchen and bathroom are very modern and nicely decorated. The well-kept garden invites you to linger in fine weather. The contact with Annette was also always lightning-fast and friendly. The dog mentioned in other reviews, opposite the bedroom window, actually barks some nights but this is not a problem with earplugs.

I was in the studio with a good friend over the weekend and it was beautiful on all levels. The combination of old farm and modern design is beautiful and the garden and courtyard of the farm are very inviting. You can start hiking right away and there are great lakes that invite you to swim, which can be reached quickly by car. We felt totally comfortable and at home from the beginning. Till was always there for us when we had questions and we had super interesting and complex and inspiring conversations. A wonderful place to recharge on many levels. A highlight is also the Kulturmühle: a café around the corner, run by very nice operators and there are very delicious cakes and waffles and much more. (Check beforehand: it's not always open.) Thank you - we will definitely be back :-)

There were two of us on the Elbe bike path and we spent one night with André and his wife. The apartment is beautifully bright, the kitchen well equipped and the shower is great. We were greeted in a very friendly manner and were even allowed to use the passage through the garden to go swimming in the adjacent quarry lake. We were very pleased.

The getaway with Martin and Kathrin was magical. The place is a little gem in the countryside - the farm is idyllic, green and very nicely located. Surrounded by the forest, you can relax and unwind here from the hustle and bustle of the city and everyday life. By car or bike you can easily get to the nearby cities. The property is as described in the listing and absolutely matches the pictures. Everything is designed and furnished with a lot of love. The amenities are good and very clean. The oven heating is a special highlight of the house. The whole yard and garden are just amazing! Everything is very lovingly maintained. Martin and Kathrin are great hosts! They are very accommodating and available at all times. You felt welcome straight away! Dear Kathrin, Dear Martin, Thank you so much for the wonderful time with you! And thanks for sharing your little paradise with guests! We will be happy to come back.

We chose the place because we wanted to relax an extended weekend, enjoy peace and cycling. We were not disappointed. The property is an old four-sided courtyard where the residential building has been renovated. But the old charm came through everywhere (the old wooden and tile floors are a dream). The kitchen has everything you need, just like the bathroom. All rooms are spacious, bright and nicely decorated. The largest courtyard is super relaxing, you can sit in the countryside in the sun and have your peace and quiet. BBQ and fire bowl complete the offer. But the best are the 2 cats that belong to the yard. Completely uncomplicated, they accept you as new roommates and demand their petting and are happy that someone is there. The area is great for cycling and hiking. A very slow short trip.

What we wanted: Time for us in a cozy, quiet place. Put the smartphone aside. Sit by the fireplace in the evening and just sleep in. And for all that, this little cabin in the woods was perfect. Axel's daughter showed us everything very patiently and otherwise was well communicated. Good to know: There is no good network in the forest and, as Axel writes, no Wi-Fi either. You should feel like doing without the screen. A supermarket is only 15 minutes away by bike. And the cottage is in a complex where there are many other small cottages and allotments. So you're not "alone" in the forest, but you still feel completely on your own. If you are looking for a peaceful time in nature, this is the place.

Very friendly communication and reception, quiet yet centrally located, the apartment is very well maintained and spacious, with attention to detail (fresh flowers), kitchen well equipped. We felt very comfortable.

Very nice and simple accommodation with everything you need. Glad to come back ☺️
