Nature eco lodge vacation rentals in Cobano District

The stay at Ecocoon was fantastic. As beautifully quiet and secluded as we wanted it to be and yet close to the surfer hotspot Santa Teresa. All tips and recommendations from Marine were very good and helpful. On site, we also enjoyed a wonderful massage and breakfast and both were excellent. For the journey, attention should really be paid to an off-road vehicle. Thank you Marine, we will be happy to come back to your little oasis!

It is an oasis. Set off the beaten track with amazing views of the jungle and the sea. Very warm welcome with the digital guide of the area, recommending attractions worth seeing and local restaurants. Lovely pool. Wildlife at your doorstep - from deers, monkeys to macaws. Great mission- rescuing wild animals, helping them recover and then releasing back in the jungle. We had an absolutely wonderful stay and would recommend to anyone who loves wildlife and less touristy places. It is simply beautiful.

The cabin is inside forest, you can hear a lot of lapas and you get to see the ocean. The bathroom allows you to have contact with the external environment, it rained at night and this penetrates part of the bathroom, refreshing the entire property.

The Boho Lodge was the perfect location to enjoy quiet, privacy and nature, while being close enough to Montezuma, local restaurants, the beach, and Cabo Blanco. After a day hiking in steamy temperatures, it was great to return to Boho Lodge for a delightful swim in the pool to cool down and recharge. The landscaping, jungle surroundings, howler monkeys calling out greetings, the helpful staff, and William’s recommendations and Pura Vida spirit made it a very special stay.

The house is nicely located among gardens and there are many trees around. We enjoyed the terrace for our breakfasts since the kitchen is very well equipped to prepare food. We visited the Montezuma waterfall, which is a gift of nature to visit and is only 10 minutes from the house. The pool is very suitable to cool off at night when it is cooler.

Cute little rooms with air conditioning, hot water in the shower and a small closet overlooking the river. everything you need to relax for a night. The hostess was super nice and answered all our questions.

This is our second time staying at Calala and it was amazing ! The included breakfast is amazing ! We ate dinner there a few times too , so good . The cabins are beautifully designed , the indoor/outdoor showers are the best . The pool is a great place to cool off , the beach is gorgeous . Walk to cemetery island at low tide you won’t regret it . I would recommend bringing an extra fan if you can , there isn’t A/C . There’s ceiling fans and an oscillating floor fans available in cabins . Everyone speaks great English so no worries there . We will be back for a third visit soon !

The place is simply very nice ! this is a small paradise ! Just waking up in the morning with the sun rising in the ocean and having a yoga class in front of the sea is an experience you want to live ! but you will also see monkeys and red scarlet macaws, simply beautiful ! The restaurant is great, they have good food and nice cocktails ;-) and super friendly staff ! We really have been able to relax during our stay with our 2 kids and enjoyed walk on the rocky beach, and the pool ! It's about 30/40 min drive from Santa Teresa if you want to go surfing for the day Definitely a place we recommend ! Thanks Matt & Ceci !
